This company was Great!! From my initial call to them and after speaking to Jeff, I was very Pleased with his phone mannner, his kindness and understanding. He was very informative and knowledgeable. He was friendly and funny and understanding to my needs. The movers arrived on time and Benny and his team were very firendly, kind and hard workers. They did a GREAT JOB!!!! They were patient too. They were almost done loading when I realized, I forgot the clothes in the closet and Benny said no problem.. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! MALIA

    Alliance Moving & Storage
These guys were awesome! Right from my initial phone call, speaking with the representative, I was reassured how my valuable things would be handled with care. It was recommended that I hired 3 guys to get the job done, which is exactly what I needed. They worked so hard and fast, not to mention took each item into consideration while moving it. I was greatly impressed! Professional, fast movers, easy to book and cost was cheaper than their competitors!

    H2H Movers Inc
They were very professional from the start to the end. Office staff was polite, made reservation, and charged only $50 down payment. Movers showed up on time and worked very fast. Despite the speed, they were careful with fragile and glass items. We had to wait for keys for a new apartment and they were patient and understanding. Price is very good and compatible with other movers. Would definitely hire them again because of excellent service all around.

    Trico Long Distance Movers
I used Trico Long Distance Movers two years in a row and I had two GREAT experiences!!! Last June (2014), Trico Long Distance Movers gave me a smooth and successful move from LA to San Francisco . The estimated cost and 12 hour time frame was right on! This past Thanksgiving Day weekend, Trico once again out did themselves and helped me with another smooth, efficient, and quick move from San Francisco to IL! And once again, the estimated cost and time frame was right on. Aside from just the accuracy of the estimated cost and time frame, I was most appreciative to the fact that each and every mover was personable, communicative, and respectful. Every single personal item of mine was handled with such care and caution. I never had to worry about things being misplaced or even broken. Moving is stressful enough so working with Trico Long Distance Movers definitely gave me peace of mind and a sense of calm that everything would be taken care of...and it was! I think there's something to be said for the professional and polite conduct as well as the positive attitude from the staff that I was in with prior to the move, all the way to the movers themselves. I am nothing but appreciative to Trico Land I would highly recommend them to anyone that wants a positive moving experience...which is something I think everyone would want, no? Thank YOU Trico Long Distance Movers!

    Trico Long Distance Movers
I was very happy with Trico Long Distance Movers. Found them on angielist.  Called several companies off of angielist, and they were the most competitively priced.  Moved from about a 1600 sq ft apt to a 4500 sq ft house in 7 hours and 4 men.  Having 4 men really helped-I would recommend getting more men and getting done with the move sooner!  They wrapped everything with such precision and seemed like they knew what they were doing in terms of loading the truck properly. Trico Long Distance Movers did a great job wrapping & packing everything up for me. (Including a fridge).  The whole trip took less than the minimum time estimated, and I never felt like they were stalling to gain time.  Great job Trico!

    Trico Long Distance Movers
I couldn't ask for anything more from Trico Long Distance Movers company. We moved from a apartment into a two-story home and it went as smooth as could be. Tony did  an initial survey and presented his price quote up front and had options for if we wanted to have them pack up for us as well. We opted to do that part ourselves and just have Trico do the heavy lifting. The moving crew showed up on time and worked hard until the job was done. All the items that could have been scratched was well wrapped and protected. Nothing was damaged or broken in the whole moving process. The crew also managed to move some awkward pieces into the second story,  including a huge sofa. They completed my move 3.5 hours ahead of schedule and didn't leave any mess behind. They were cheaper than other companies that quoted me. Great bunch of guys who work hard. I'd not hesitate to use them again anytime I need to move long distance. Thanks Trico Long Distance Movers! Highly Recommend!

    J & P Moving Service, Inc.
J & P exceeded all expectations.  From the scheduling all the way to the move date, they were extremely professional and hard working.  Additionally, they communicated well and were very patient.  For example, our new home has hard wood floors.  They helped us place the fabric protectors on the furniture.  They really went above and beyond.  Thank you!

    Wolley Movers
Wolley Movers sent 3 men, who arrived on time, worked very hard, and moved all our furniture and boxes with great care.  Nothing arrived damaged or broken!  The estimate was right on the money, and my husband who originally did not want to use movers, was very pleased with the outcome.  I would highly recommend Wolley Movers.

    American Van Lines East

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE; NEVER USE THIS COMPANY, IF THEY ARE EVEN STILL IN BUSINESS. In March, 2014, I was in FL., helping my 90-yr young mother sell her house, in order to move into my IL home. I contacted several movers and received estimates. I decided on American Van Lines East because the salesman, Roy, was very convincing and professional. Theirs was not the lowest or highest bid, but I felt the best company. I checked with the state and their credentials/license/insurance were all in order. They requested a substantial deposit, which we paid, via a credit card (thank goodness). I gave a tentative moving date, based on the fact that we needed to vacate the house upon closing. When it came time that I had an actual closing date, I called Roy. To my surprise, I heard a recording stating that the phone number I'd called had been further information was available. I had 3 other numbers, all had the same recording. The movers were located in Tampa, a 2 hour drive (one-way) from Mom's house. I had no way of driving over to the offices in Tampa, to find out what might be going on. After two days of phone calls and nothing but the above "disconnect" response, I decided that I'd better call Visa, to dispute the $850 deposit. The Visa agent also tried all of the numbers & agreed, something was wrong. I asked the Tampa police dept to please do a drive by to see if anyone was at the Tampa address I was given. They refused to do this. I had no way to verify that the company was still in business. Their state license was still in effect and their website was up, but I never could get through on the phones and the emails I sent went unanswered. Visa agreed that the deposit would be refunded to my Mom. We were very lucky that we didn't issue a check. Repeated attempts to reach this company failed. I ended up having to hire another mover (which was a very happy experience and I'd highly recommend Arpin Movers, FL. The tentative date I'd given the bad movers was May 15, 2014. On May 14th, I received a call from a woman stating she was confirming our move for the 15th. I told her that our move already took place, and that American Van Lines East had been unreachable. She insisted that I had a move scheduled for the next day, because my salesman, Roy, told her to call. This was the only communication I had with the company and the woman was very rude. I finally hung up. AVOID STRESS, DISAPPOINTMENT AND FINANCIAL LOSS.....DO NOT USE THIS MOVER. We were lucky, you might not be.

    Happ Movers Inc
In order to save money and reduce chaos in our new place, we had already moved most of the small stuff and electronics.  The rest of the stuff was already boxed and all the office file drawings were emptied.  We called for a phone estimate and dictated a list of the major items on the phone.  We learned that they charge simply based on travel time and hours on the job. This ended up being a great arrangement since we had already done all the packing and furniture disassembly.
Four guys arrived on time on the designated morning.  They carefully parked their truck so as to avoid trampling the grass.  They ran a ramp up the front porch stairs and toured the house to address areas of concern, esp. the nice wood floors, and make sure we were on the same page. The guys moved quickly, yet carefully. The truck was carefully loaded and all furniture was covered in clean moving blankets.  They were loaded in about 2 hrs, made the 1 hr drive to the new place, then reversed the process.
The whole experience lasted less than 6 hrs.  We were pleasantly surprised by the modest bill for such hard work.  We were very impressed how they negotiated our tight wooden stairs with the huge commercial metal file cabinets without damage to themselves, the walls, or our precious new oak floors.
These are great guys who are are very professional.  One of our best experiences with any contractor.  Highly recommended!
