    RD Pro Painting
The work was done in a very timely manner and professional manner. I was very happy with how it looked and I was very pleased with the clean up. There were no traces of the work being done left behind.

    Stone Gate Enterprises
They were able to do all the extras I decided to add to work after the remodeling started that I had not considered prior at little cost. One thing I regret was to dismiss the idea of open concept that Stone Gate Enterprises has offered at the beginning which I haven't considered and did partially open concept but now if I could have I would have listened to them and did the completely open concept. They are very kind brothers that work together great and have great ideas to offer. Like I have mentioned before Stone Gate Enterprises has done the whole project from start to the end as any type of tile, counter tops, doors, drywall, electrical, flooring /installation/repair, framing, glass & mirrors, painting - exterior/interior, plumbing, remodeling - basements. After performing those major job Stone Gate Enterprise company became number one and they perform all the work that needs to be done in the house and around. They are my handyman or so called golden hands I would have never replaced. I would recommend them to any one and when ever any one ask me about any projects I hand their cards out.

    Nick's Painting
All went very well.  Nick and one other helper, ( John), showed up every day, timely. (4.5 days).  They tidied up every evening.
Would definitely recommend and call Nick for any future painting jobs.

It was great to work with Maureen. She painted a house for us to get it ready for sale. She did a great job. I told her what we wanted and she ran with it. She picked out the colors herself and it looked great.
I have since recommended her to many of my own customers and they have been very happy with her work as well.

    Roof to Deck Restoration
First let me say the deck looks very good now -- still a little oily, but it looks good. The process began in May and finally ended August 1. In fairness I have to say the long delays were due to persistent rainy weather which I acknowledge and understand. However, improvement needs to be made in communication.
Within a few days someone came out to assess the job and I was given an estimate which I accepted and put down the required 50% deposit. Initially it was estimated the work would begin the third week of June, depending on the weather.  That time came and went with no communication whatsoever from Roof to Deck. It wasn't until July when I initiated a call that they gave me an update.  On July 18 the guy came and did the stripping and powerwashing after canceling the previous day due to rain. At least he called. He made the deck look nice and clean, like fresh wood. The staining was scheduled for Saturday July 27, at about 9am, they said. 9am came and went again with no communication. Because it rained heavily overnight I assumed it would be rescheduled for another date as I awaited a call. At 5pm the deck guy showed up quite unexpectedly and said he's ready to do the staining. I was quite surprised to see him but it was ok with me. Just wanted to get it done. Pleasant fellow and he went right to work and put down two coats on the main surface and finished just before dark. What he did NOT do was sand the surface. The deck is made of cedar and the power washing did "fuzz" up the surface quite a bit. Normally you would expect it to be sanded down but it was not. Once the stain was applied the fuzziness was even more pronounced. Before he was finished, together we went around looking for spots that needed touching up. After a couple of days the stain soaked in and the deck dried and some blotchy areas appeared, so I called to see if I could get a quart of stain so I could touch it up myself. Instead they scheduled someone to come out August 1 and he ended up putting down an entire third coat, which did impress me. He also left a couple of spray bottles of stain in case I needed to do any touching up later. Finally, the entire balance was automatically charged to my credit card even though I used a $50-off coupon, so I had to call yet again to get that cleared up and they ended up sending me a check.
In summary, the rain delays were understandable, communication was poor, stripping/power washing was good, staining process was rather amateurish, but follow up service and courtesy were excellent. Unfortunately, I doubt I would be willing to go through this ordeal a second time.

    Midwest Painting
Overall were pleased with the job.  The workers were on time every morning at 8:30 and started with power washing and some scraping of area's.  The next day was more scraping and detailing areas and preparing for recaulking  and priming also removed all shutters from windows to paint.  The next day one of workers came in a prepared the ceiling for prior to painting ( remove damaged plaster and replastered  with first application)  The next day  they finished with the scraping and began the first coat of primer.  Carpenter came and replaced damaged wood  on garage and the the painters then painted with prime.  The final day they applied the first coat of paint and and completed the ceiling in the house by repainting the ceiling in living room and hallway where the damage originated from.  The whole job took about 41/2 days but I was very pleased it got done the right way. The owner was out at our job site everyday and made sure his workers were doing the job to his expectations which in my mind is good business. I definately will use them again for any future projects.

Terrible Experience!!  I'd like to be upfront and say that we never went so far as to retain this company for work. And hopefully, the description below would give an insight as to why I feel that my experience with this lady was one of the worst. I work for an owner that has 4 condos. The owner feels that if we were to freshly paint all the units not with a base white mentality, but more with a decorator's touch and some color, then the units would attract a different type of client/renters. After reading all the positive comments about this company, I decided that it was worth the time to call Diana. We were working on a particular unit that had cigarettes odor and wanted to know what her methods would be. This was when things went downhill. First, there?s no one to pick up the phone (I got her voicemail on each of the first three tries).  After finally reaching her one morning, Diana said that she'd call me right back- apparently this meant 5pm the next day. Second, 40 minutes before we were to meet up for a consultation and a quote, she called to say that she needed to move the appointment back another 30minutes (not a big deal but it did take 4 days for her to have availability). Third, while meeting me at one of the condos, Diana wore her headset as she spent the next 30minutes on an ?important? conference call. She was actually doing this after I had driven 30 minutes to meet her at the location. Even crazier, she didn?t even say a word to the conference call that lasted over 30 minutes- but somehow, her and I never had a real conversation.  At one point, she did stop long enough to say ?this place is terrible, are you going to replace the carpeting?? Remember at this point, we had actually never met or spoke because she?s been listening to her call from the beginning. Finally, after walking around the condo a bit, while on her conference call, she paused long enough to say that she had everything that she needed. And to top that off, she said ?nice to meet you? as she walked towards her car to leave. I don?t know anything about running a carpeting business, but I do know that after my experience with Diana, perhaps she?s got a few things to learn herself. Needless to say, my maintenance group and the many properties that we service, will never call upon this disappointment of a company.

Overall, they were excellent. They were thorough, and their estimate was also thorough. They did exactly what they said they would and it was one of my better painting experiences. I'd use them again in the future and I would recommend them.

I called Swanson Painting because they have been in the area for a long time and they have a very good reputation. The job went very well. The entire job took only two days. There was one two-man crew for the interior work and another two-man crew for the exterior. They showed up first thing each morning and went about their business. The interior painters moved whatever furniture needed to be moved, and they worked around us without really disturbing us. There were some minor items that I did not think to specifically discuss when I contracted for the work (painting a small side-hall off the foyer and the interior of a small closet, performing some additional minor drywall patching) that they happily did at no extra charge. They even gave me some tips when I asked them how they do various tasks. The exterior painters gave special attention to a couple of spots that I requested. We wanted to change the color of our front door to match the storm door, and they did a very good job of matching the paint.

    Fresh Coat Painters
Paint on garage door and wall over garage was chipping. Bob scrapped and prepped all areas and painted it. It came out very nice. Additionally, I had some bubbling on my back storm door due to moisture getting behind frame and I was contemplating replacing it but luckily Bob was able to fix. Bob was a pleasure to deal, reasonably priced and I would highly recommend.
