    I called shortly after 8:00am and left a message. Nick, the owner and repairman, called back in less than a half hour. Not only could he come out today, but he said he���d be here before noon. He was here just after 10:00. He promptly diagnosed the problem and replaced the hose and the belts (as a preventative measure, which I appreciated). He honored my coupon before I could even present it to him; repairs were reasonably priced. Very pleased with the service and responsiveness. Though I hope I don���t have to call him anytime soon, I certainly will if I have repairs to be done. Highly recommend!

    The part for the oven was in his truck and service was performed quickly. He then asked if anything else may need service and I mentioned my washer would squeal when stopping. He checked it and told me that no repair was immediately needed, that this could still function for months, even years this way and advised me not to do anything . He also commented that washing the rug (with rubber backing) that was in the machine at the time was not good for it. He suggested using a laundromat for that type of item to save the wear on my own machine. I really appreciated his honesty and that no pressure was placed on me to do this repair! About 5 weeks after the oven ignitor was replaced, it seemed to be malfunctioning again, so I called and set up a date for him to come out. Imagine my embarrassment when, upon checking, he found that I was omitting one of the steps on the touchpad and there was nothing wrong with the ignitor! When I offered to pay for a service call, he declined. Wonderful customer service! He will be fixing all my appliances from here on out, and I recommend you give him a try, too!

    We called G.S.R. Appliance Repair in the morning, Svilen answered (no answering machine) and came out as promised that morning. He fixed the dryer, explained how to avoid it from happening again. He also told us he thought it the panel would have to be replaced in about 2 years. Excellent response and completely satisfied with the repair. We'll definitely call again if we need service on any of our appliances.

    They must have been having an extremely busy day cause the "quick return call" didn't happen at all in this case. Called and left a message in the morning, followed up 2 times more later in the day and went to voicemail (no message left). Following day still no return call. The overwhelming positive reviews led me to them, but it didn't work out had to find a different company due to the urgency.

    Nick responded quickly, diagnosed the problem, and replaced the fan motor. He wasted no time in the repair and followed up with a call the next day. While the fridge was away from the wall he vacuumed the coils and gave me advice on what the cooling settings should be for the freezer and fridge. The cost was very acceptable. I would recommend S&S in a heartbeat.

    I purchased this refrigerator in April 2015. In the 4 months I have had it, the freezer has went up to over 40 degrees and thawed all of the contents. In both instances the freezer is working correctly again by the time the technician can get to my home a week later. Because of the amount of money I spent and the aggravation I would like a new refrigerator.

    It went very well. I had just purchased the townhouse and had no idea what state the ducts were in. The main return ducts had a half inch coating of crud so I was correct to order the deluxe duct cleaning package. The two techs showed up early in the time window they had given me, came in and set up and then commenced cleaning the ducts. They were both very friendly and professional. It took about an hour to clean the ducts after they were set up. Then one of the techs worked on the dryer vent while the other finished up. The dryer vent was 30 feet long and packed with lint and leaves and dead birds. It took a while to clean it all out and made a mess all over the yard, which they cleaned up. When they were done I was quite content that the ducts were thoroughly clean and the dryer vent was clear and the dryer was now safe to use.

    I get extremely frustrated by appliance/ house problems.  I am the
    widow of a great Mr. Fix-It and I have no "go-to" lists of reputable
    repair companies.  I'm very handy myself and can accomplish lots of repairs, but
    have melt downs when I'm faced with one that I can't handle.
    Nick, the owner, responded to my email request for an appointment almost
    immediately.  Appointment was scheduled and he called prior to coming over.
    Problem was that when I went into the laundry room, it was flooded. I
    called Nick and told him I had to cancel, because I'd have to clean up the mess
    before he could do any repairs.  I'm sure I sounded upset on the phone.  He said
    he was nearby and offered to stop over, no charge, to see if he could figure out where
    the water as coming from.  He came over, inspected the flood and thought it
    could be the ejector pump.  He said he thought the dryer tripped the circuit
    breaker because it was on the same electrical line as the pump.  He said he
    didn't think the dryer was the problem and suggested I call a plumber.
    He was like an "old" friend. I believed I could definitely trust him
    and appreciated the fact that he offered to drop by to see if he could help. 
    Oh my gosh, here's a guy who really cares about the customer and went out of his way to help....just
    like the "old days".
      At this point, I'm still cleaning up and haven't tried the dryer to see if it will that I have a new ejector pump
