    Badly. The fee was supposed to cover services until they narrowed down a list to a 'potential few' options (which they promised in writing). They provided me with a 569 page report of possible people and then said they needed more money.

    Stan's Welding
    After an initial prompt response to my outreach via Angie's List, this company repeatedly failed to respond and made promises it did not keep.  The bottom line is this - they were too busy for the work we needed done, but unlike other providers who were very frank about their availability (or lack thereof), Stan's Welding promised to "get back with proposed dates" and never did.  I spoke with Magda on Thursday.  I told her that I we'd been waiting and waiting.  She told me on the telephone on Thursday (5/19) that she would call back the next day (Friday) with proposed dates.  Friday came and went, and we've heard nothing.  I was disappointed with the lack of candor.  I do not recommend Stan's Welding for the foregoing reasons.

    Many challenges were faced in this project, the house (150 yrs old) is sided in cedar shingles that require complete attention to detail.  The second largest issue was we had been beseiged by hornets this year making their job all the more harder. 
    Painted Right, accepted and excelled at the challenge. This company is highly professional and extremely hard working, they left no sign that they had been here, their cleanup was so complete.  They used the highest quality paint on the market, their insistance and I liked that.
    Painted Right was happy to accommodate any project presented too them, they were extremely polite and curteous and more importantly they were willing to do whatever it took to get the job done right. I highly recommend then and would certainly hire them again and again and again. I could not be more happier with the results,

    They deliver all of their items as well. Our children live in another state. We can pay for the items and they will deliver to them. I like their philosophy. They are an organic and natural company. I would recommend them to others.

    I gave them half of the money on the 8th of April, they were supposed to install the fabric before i moved out of town by the 30th of April.  They cancelled two times before my move.  They ended up having to coordinate with my property manager to get it installed and have cancelled on him multiple time... like 4-5 times. They would say that they would be there at a certain time and would either be late or not show at all.  When they did arrive to install the fabric guard, they only installed on 3 of the 4 areas that they were initially supposed to install and ended up installing 2 of 3 incorrectly.  They left the area that they were working in dirty and didn't clean up after themselves. They also left patch marks outside of my house from where they had to drill on my patio.  I’ve contacted them more times than i can recall and they eventually installed the 4th area that they were originally supposed to.   They partially fixed the patio area where they installed the fabric.  They second area that they installed incorrectly, i called the manufacturer and he came out and told them that they had installed it incorrectly and that he would send over the necessary parts needed to correctly install it.  Tropic guard received the parts but still has not come out to finish my install.  They have had the parts for almost a week and still continue to cancel and rescheduling on me. They also never return my calls... even the owner will not respond.

    Delnor Community Hospital
    I chose Delnor hospital to deliver my first child since I had done research online and found their hospital attractive and modern. Their website even mentioned mom's getting a free massage during their stay. I was very impressed by the services depicted on their website so decided to deliver at their hospital. Well the hospital ended up not impressing me at all. There was no mention by staff of a free massage during my stay, I was promised things by nurses like coming back to bring my medication or unplugging me from my IV in 30 minutes so I can walk to washroom and no follow through by the nurses. I had to keep asking for things two times or more and the place was not even busy during this time. They are very stingy on baby supplies too. They only put a few diapers and formula in the baby cart and so I would need to keep asking for more and they only gave a few at a time. They must think moms are planning to steal these supplies and take them home or something! I felt that when nurses switched shifts there was a lack of communication between nurses and the patient was left in the dark. I never knew who was my nurse at the time since the nurse would disappear for hours until a new person showed up and I would have to ask if she was my new nurse. I think in this day in age hospitals are competing with each other to provide the best patient care and best patient experience and Delnor needs to make huge improvements in order to make patient stays a positive experience. I'm currently expecting my second child and do not plan on returning to Delnor.

    Initially the price given for the ring sizing and the tie bar was around $20.00 each. My wife got a call on July 9th to say that the cost of the tie bar would be $50.00. She called me at work with the new estimate and I decided that was not worth it so she called them back immediately to cancel that part of the work. We went on July 20th to pick up the ring and the other two pieces and I found that they had done the work anyway and that I owed them $80.00. I paid at the time, but when I told my wife that I was not happy that they had done the work, she went back immediately to complain, since she had been the one to make the call cancelling the order. She said the woman that she talked to was very nice about it. The employee went to explain the situation to the owner of the store and she went looking for the order envelope. When she found it they had the record of the call to my wife and her call to cancel the order, but they also had a record of someone calling on July 10th to say do the work. Neither I nor my wife called to say do the work. Both of us agreed that price was not worth it. Their resolution to this was that if we wanted our money back, they would remove the pin from the tie bar. That would have left both pieces destroyed. The pin had the pin backing sawed off to attach to the tie bar and had been laser soldered on. My wife got so upset by this attitude that she told them if they were going to destroy the pieces like that to just keep their money and we would never use them again. We were very disappointed by what we thought was a professional place of business.

    I thought that they were very good helpers. They will work with you. They have one person that takes care of everything for you. Everything worked out just the way it was supposed to, so there was no problem. Their pricing seemed fair to me.

    They're really personable. They were able to order something that was hard to find, so, it was nice that they were able to get it because I couldn't get it anywhere else. It's great working with them. I'll use them again.
