Joe and his crew did a major renovation on our master bathroom and a more minor update to our kids bathroom. Overall we were happy with the outcome, with some reservations that keep us from giving an A grade. The good: 1) Price and value were very good. We were happy with the extent of work done for the price paid, and all additions that came up in the course of the job were priced fairly. No complaints here. 2) Quality of the tiling and plumbing was good. 3) Joe and his crew were thoughtful. Since both upstairs bathrooms were being done at the same time, they ended up removing and reinstalling the hall bath toilet several times over the course of the work so that we would have an upstairs toilet to use in the evening. 4) Joe and his crew were easy to work with and friendly in all our dealings. The not-so-good: 1) Paint and drywall. It's fairly obvious where new or repaired drywall was needed in the master bath...just could have been a better job overall in drywall/painting. Also, wall paint was slopped numerous places onto door trim or other trim pieces; most of that was fixed at my request, but seems it should have been neater to begin with. Also, the spot behind the toilet tank in the hall bath was not painted despite my pointing it out 2 or 3 times; while it's not easily visible, it just isn't professional. 2) A mistake was made in installing the vanity in the kids bathroom; they failed to realize a 1" spacer was called for at the wall, resulting in an almost 2" overhang of the vanity top at the other end. I accepted it because fixing it would have required drilling new (additional) holes in the vanities for all the plumbing, which wasn't ideal either...I made the less bad of two bad choices. It's not terrible, but it's not right either. 3) General cleanup was rather poor. We regularly found nails and or screws on the floor at the end of the day, and several 2x4's with nails sticking out were left in my garage at the end of the job, along with numerous drawers from the original vanities which should have been removed.

Joe and his crew have done a tremendous job over the last 10 months helping me get my home ready so I can put it on the market this summer. From the beautiful bath remodel to painting ceilings, walls, re-caulking my basement walls and power washing my roof and deck, they've always gone over and above what I've expected. My messages are promptly returned and Joe dispatches his crew out to my house in a timely manner. Thanks for running over to "fix" a problem that turned out not to be a problem at all! Thanks again to you and your capable crew at Kitchen and Bath Specialties!! Joan

Everything was meticulously finished and professional. Nothing was slapped together. The job site was regularly cleaned and scraps taken away. This was a 2600 sq. Foot job and when a small leak happened in the tile shower they immediately repaired. Terrance the owner also had some great ideas that I incorporated.

Joe and his guys, Tony and Sean, did a great job with my bathroom. They installed porcelain tile in the shower and bordered it with colorful mosaic tile which was also installed above my new vanity to bring the room together. They also installed a new light in the shower and a nice fan/light in the bathroom ceiling (they did all the plumbing and electric ). A beautiful "wood" porcelain floor was laid as well as they installed the vanity lights, new mirror, storage unit and all the bath fixtures. The bathroom door was also replaced and they also did all the painting for me. I don't think I could have beat the price and they all did a wonderful job. Any questions or concerns I had were handled promptly and I was very happy with the work and their professionalism. I would have no reservations about recommending this company for your renovation. I am a very happy customer! Love my new master bath!!

Joe was awesome to work with. Extremely professional, punctual, and efficient. We worked with him on several quote revisions before we started the job (thanks for your patience) and got everything dialed in just the way we wanted it. We had some other bids for the job and Joe's came out the most cost competitive. Once the job started, it really was impressive how quickly he and his team got the job done. As other reviewers mentioned, Joe takes a lot of personal pride in doing the jobs himself in addition to running the business and that definitely showed with us. Quality was pretty top notch too. Just really friendly guys and great to work with, I would reach out to him in a heartbeat for future work. We love our new bathroom, thanks!

Had Scott and his crew working at our home for almost a month. Crew is always punctual and respectful. I've got a four year old running around and he never hears an errant cuss word which I greatly appreciate. Scott is very focused on detailed and quality work which can lead to what seems like a longer production time, but I think he is very efficient with his time given the quality of his work. What I like best is that Scott AND his crew want to do a quality job for you. The only downside is that he is awfully busy and if I want to get on his schedule, I have to be patient. That said, the cost and quality combination is worth the wait.

They did a fantastic job constructing a full bathroom in the basement. We are planning on using them again after the first of the year to increase and renovate the kitchen and full bath on the main floor.

Joe is very professional at his work. He came by the house, took a look at the job and gave an estimate of the work to install shower glass door. Joe gave a heads up about the work and the complexities associated with it. He came on day 1 to assess the work and made a work plan which he then executed in day 2 in a very short time. Joe informed me that there might be a slight issue due to bigger size of glass door than the normal ones. To overcome this issue Joe added some reinforcing long bolts in the supporting woods behind drywall which was needed to keep wood planks tied up to support the weight of glass door.
Joe even had a make a trip to get few bolts to over come with the issue of door weight and due to that the door now works with charm.
I'm quite satisfied by the Joe's work and skills. Would like to hire him again in future.

It went beautifully.  We had delays waiting for cabinets to be delivered etc.  and they flexed every time.   And ALL the work, electrical, tile, cabinet installation was done professionally.  We could not ask for better work or nicer people to work with.  Two thumbs up!  Thanks Angie's List.

    Bathrooms Plus Inc
Workers very professional and did beautiful tile work. Unfortunately, there were a few minor fixes that were not completed. They came out once to put in trim around the vanity and assess the shower height as it is now 4 inches shorter than it was before. They did not get the trim done around the vanity kick plate or answer us about the shower height. We have called repeatedly and they no longer call us back. It has been six months so although the work they did is good, I cannot rate them higher. I also really like the guys but am very disappointed in the responsiveness in the office when I call. I am not sure I can recommend them to my friends now and will try one more time to get them to finish the project. Then I guess we will just have to finish it ourselves and write them off. It was not a cheap remodel so I expected more.
