    Perfect. Driver's suggestion of pick-up time was much earlier than mine, but I'm thankful for his wisdom because if we would have left when I thought we should, we might have missed our flight. And even though the pick-up was at 4:00 am, the driver was right on time.

    Let me elaborate.  At least three times during this period, their driver
    has been late forcing me to drive to the airport because they could not
    tell me, would not tell me, or lied about the location of the driver at
    the appointed pickup time.  This has also happened twice at  O'Hare
    pickup, but at least one of those was because of an incredibly late
    flight.  The last time they were not on time was a snowy day, I will
    admit, but at the time for pick up I called the dispatcher.  You should
    know I had called the dispatcher about 15 minutes before the pick up to
    find out if the driver would be on time, given the conditions.  I was
    told he would be there on time, only a few short minutes from me.  At
    9:15 no driver.  When I called, the dispatcher told me that the
    conditions would delay his arrival at least 30 minutes. I, of course,
    asked why I wasn't told that when I had called earlier and he said, well
    it is just a tough morning all around.  I said fine, but I would not be
    using their service this morning and he started to start to lecture me
    about how I could not cancel at this late date and started to actually
    yell at me.  I too got testy and said I would no longer use them because
    for me, this was the last straw.  In addition to being lied to
    by the dispatcher, I have noticed more and more incompetent or unsafe
    drivers.   One, quite elderly driver, was very erratic is his speed and
    lane usage.  One minute he was at 84 mph and the next he was at 45, all
    the time in the left lane.  And he did this all the way home, at lest
    three times.  This same driver has always impressed me as having
    difficulty seeing, especially at night [I have had him on numerous
    occasions].  He admitted to me that his issue is that he does not sleep
    well and is usually tired behind the wheel.  I called to request that he
    no longer drive me.  The request was taken, but no details were sought
    which made me believe they were not going to do anything about this
    I could go on about things like the dispatcher sending
    the car to the wrong exit door at O'Hare, way too long to get me after I
    called with my luggage, drivers who cannot use their billing equipment,
    etc.  I do not want to give the impression that all their drivers are
    unsafe or incompetent.  But I will say that during the last 24 months,
    the majority of drivers consistently drove 15-20 miles over the speed
    limit and one who was pulled over by a cop because he was driving on the
    shoulder to avoid traffic.
    Enough is enough for me.  I
    understand they have over 100 cars now that they dispatch for [the
    company does not own its cars; most being owned by an investor and the
    driver gets some cut of the fare with the rest split between the owner
    and Athena.] and this seems to be the crux of the issue.  New
    dispatchers seem impolite and incompetent and most of the new drivers
    are either scary or motormouths, neither of which I appreciate.
    somebody else.  Use the better rated Yelp services or better yet, go to
    Angies List for some certified ratings.  That is what I did.

    We used to have great service from this company.  I have had two trips now that we booked online and were confirmed and then 5 minutes before they were supposed to pick us up, they called and said the driver was too far away and wouldn't be to us in time.  Upon arrival at the airport we sent our text when we got our bags and they sent a response with the drivers name and car #.  10 minutes later they called to say the driver was actually not near the airport for another 40  minutes. Their excuse was that they were very busy due to spring break.

    Driver was at the house slightly ahead of schedule (relieved concerns), loaded our luggage, and got us to the correct terminal on time.  Return pickup was very quick after we picked up our luggage and called phone number on our confirmation paperwork.  We had the same driver and he took us home safely and unloaded our luggage.  Vehicle was a new SUV, was very clean and stocked with water and mint candies.  Will definitely use this company again for airport or special occasion.

    It was a fabulous experience from beginning to end.  The driver was on time and very professional.  The bus was very nice - plenty of room for all of us!  It was so clean - it still had that "new car" smell to it.  The interior and the seating were very comfortable.  I liked that they had complimentary water inside - that was a nice touch by them.  I really liked dealing with this company as they offered for me to see the exact vehicle that we would be in ahead of time and the quality was really great.  The bride felt very special in terms of the evening we put on for her and having this upscale transportation just made the evening even better.  I was very worried about being the evening's organizer and having this piece be taken care of, on-time and ready to go and in really elegant style, put me more at ease.

    Dealing with the arrangements with this company went very smoothly from the first phone call on.  I would definitely use them again in the future.

    The driver didn't know where he was going but that was just a one-time thing; I've usually been very satisfied with their service. I flew 2000 miles from California into a snowstorm and the driver was not up to my expectations. I've used them several times and I've been very happy with their service. They were who I used when I was working.

    Driver was scheduled for a 6 am pick up to go to midway airport. At 6:15 am, I called to see where the driver was, as they had not shown up yet. I was informed the driver would be at my house in 10 minutes. At 6:30, I called to cancel as I was going to have to rush to make it to the airport on time while finding an alternate way to get to the airport. I received a voicemail at 6:45 informing me the driver had arrived. Too late. My son and I have missed our flight. This was a disaster.
    The company's communication was severely lacking and that ultimately cost a missed flight and subsequently $324 in unexpected expenses to change flights, plus the unbudgeted cost of parking, which turned out to be roughly $75.

    Sybaris Pool Suites
    This was our first time at the sybaris and although the suite was nice and clean,the disadvantage was that the hot water ran out after 10 min of running. We waited about half hour until we could continue to fill the jacuzzi. We asked the front desk for paper plates and towels, they informed us that they did have them and we can go to the front to get them. I requested that they bring them to the room and they did. A location such as this should never ask guest to go get towels at the front desk. Couples go to location to relax and enjoy each other, we felt that room service should be a part of the whole get away experience. After completing the on line survey, a supervisor called and offered a free night stay at any location.

    The drivers going and coming were professional, friendly, and courteous.  Both helped us with our luggage and were very pleasant.  We were pleased and will call Athena again when we go to the airport.  The driver on the return trip home did encourage us to pay cash vs. a credit card, but that was fine with us.

    Their prices are fair but they could improve their main street routes with secondary roads. They do use express ways when they can, and they need to improve the time schedules for the routes they do have in service. After rush hour, their routes go down to one hour periods, so if you miss the bus at all you have to wait another full hour for the next bus to come or find an alternate route. They do have bicycle carriers on the front of their bus, if they went to a 4 seater bicycle rack that would be more helpful.
