    The project involved removing a pantry and moving walls. Greg worked with the architect, plumber, hvac and electrician to determine the best plan and submitted drawing for the permits. Went with the Amish cabinets that Greg recommended and we love them. Vinnie and Clint performed most of the day to day work and did a great job. Throughout the project, Vinnie answered my questions and he took pride in his work. Job was finished in about 7 weeks, which was just as Greg estimated. I would recommend Americraft and would be open to using them again in the future.

    It went very well, the work was done expertly by true craftsmen. Part of being a great general contractor is picking great employesssubcontractors to do the work. Americraft has the best. Greg and his team did what they promised, and it came out just like they said. There was only one scheduling glitch, but that was beyond their control (shower doors did not arrive from manufacturer). We are very happy with the results, and the price was right too.

    The entire project went fantastically from start to finish! Jaci was extremely knowledgeable and helped us properly plan and avoid typical pitfalls. Their professionals laser measured our kitchen and when it came time to install, were on-time, made the couple of cuts needed on site and got the installation done in less than a day. Their utility handy man came in right after and handled expertly all the logistically issues of plumbing and got the water and cooktop back online quickly. The other granite providers we considered would only handle the stone work, which would have forced us to 'general contract' the project with multiple contractors. It was a joy to have this all handled as one project, and Precision was true to its name. We love our new counters and could not be happier with the experience.

    New Stone Design
    It was an absolute delight working with Greg. I selected the granite from a large assortment that was available at his shop. Greg did a perfect job of measuring, and his workmen did a fabulous job with the installation. There was a small flaw in the granite. There was a bit of a delay getting it repaired, but it looks great now! Greg is very knowledgeable and was very helpful!!

    New Stone Design
    We love our beautiful new counters thanks to New Stone Design. Patience is required if you engage this firm. But I would recommend you consider them as an option if you are replacing or installing counters. I had to initiate every contact with this firm, at no time did they respond or call back uninitiated, even when they said they would. So that aspect did not go well. I was not aware that fumes are a concern with the installation materials used so be aware. It was a very hot day and they had the house open both to bring the granite inside and to allow ventilation. The installers did a good job and worked hard but leaving the front door open the whole time was annoying as it let flies and bugs in. I believe they turned my AC on also. On a very cold winter day this would be a problem. Our sales rep brought samples on a worn sample board but it's difficult to pick this way. So we visited their dusty warehouse on a scorching day (so HOT!) and found a beautiful slab. It's not easy to pick from the many slabs they have on hand, but they are helpful in pulling them out for a better look. With determination we found the perfect one and they broke off a sample for us to take home and evaluate. We were then able to match that to what they installed to verify, which was very helpful. We also picked out a sink when we were there. However our sales rep was not present and the person there did not convey which sink we chose to the sales rep. Fortunately our rep sent a picture of the sink to confirm, which we indicated was the wrong one, and was able to locate the correct one from our description. ADVICE: Take pictures of everything you pick out! We trusted them to get this right and they let us down here too. Regardless of these issues I would still recommend you consider NSD for your granite needs.

    They are, you might as well take money and throw it in the garbage.
    They are so bad. I had their stock cabinets in my house. I had them put it in as an island only in the bathroom. I ripped them out, that's how bad they are. They have come back and repaired them several times. I just did this last summer. They came back and repaired them a bunch of times and I just don't even want them in my house. I'm going to rip it out and I'm going to dump it on their front lawn. They're that bad. The drawers break. If you open it you can't close it. The biggest piece of shit cabinets I have ever seen.
    They sell two kinds. They sell their own which is their own stock, their own brand and then they also carry another brand that's somebody else's brand. Those are the Waypoint. The Waypoint cabinets are perfectly fine, well priced, good quality. Their stock cabinets are a complete and utter piece of crap. It's like I made them. They break immediately. It's wasn't like I'd had them for a couple of years. They had to come out immediately. They had to reset almost every single drawer. It was just a royal, ginormous, piece of shit. There is no warranty with them. They will come and fix it but it keeps breaking.

    All I can say is BUYER BEWARE!  Factory Plaza installed a cracked granite countertop in my kitchen and then blamed it on me when I complained about the crack stating that I approved the template.  The crack is all the way through the stone and extends 24 inches from the front edge to the back of the countertop.  They even went so far as to lineup the crack on the top of the countertop with a crack in the backsplash.  The stone I selected is multi-colored and the cracks are filled with a black material.



    They tell you if you want, you can come back after the measurements are taken, and you can take part in the template process.  This allows the customer to see how the stone will be laid out prior to cutting the stone.  I did just that, I went there and the sales representative made a template of the pieces using masking tape.  I made a second trip the following week with my husband so that he could see the template layout.  We carefully examined the layout and we would have definitely noticed a crack if it was there.  We then approved the templates and set up the installation date.



    At installation, the installers brought in the pieces and laid them on top of the cabinets.  I immediately noticed the crack in one of the pieces. I phoned the sales representative and was told the crack is not a crack, it is a fissure, and this is normal with granite.  I told her why would I want a granite countertop with a crack and I would never have purchased the stone with a crack.  She then told me all the granite slabs of the stone I selected have fissures.  At this point, I told the installers to stop the installation until this can be resolved.  I went over to Factory Plaza to see the other slabs.  When I arrived she showed me two slabs with some small fissures.  I tried explaining to her that the stone I have is a crack that goes all the way through the stone, not a fissure, and I want the cracked piece replaced.  She then tells me she spoke to the manager and was told that if I want it replaced I would have to pay for the stone.  She said I approved the template and that they cut the stone how I wanted it.  I told her the crack was not there when I approved the template.  She responds with they are not going to cut another stone and eat the cost.  I was disgusted at this point and I told her I am not going to give them any more money.  The installers came back the following day and finished the installation.



    Everyone that sees my cracked granite countertop has the same reaction.  OMG, did you pay them in full.  Unfortunately, I did.

    It looks really good. They are all real professional. They forgot to do the back splash so I called them, and they got right back to me and finished the backsplash. I was happy with the price. It looks like new now. I felt really comfortable with them in the house and they were personable.

    1.  Project for bathroom remodel and repair of family room ceiling: estimated cost on contract: $12,000. Estimated time: 2 months.
    End cost after overage: $20,000 and we did not purchase over priced items.  They under estimated us!  
    -They recommend that we did NOT need building permit. 
    Did not complete project for 7 months due to multiple complications:  see below
    2.  Bathroom project: completely gutted bathroom.
    -They did not level the sub-flooring and there now exists a 2-3 inch slant in the floor.
    -due to slant in floor, shower doors not level and unable to close & stain is chipped on tracking. 
    -due to slant in floor, multiple cracking in tile work
    3.  Water pipes behind shower wall were replaced due to leakage.
    -After initial completion of project (4-1/2 months) there was continued leakage when we started to use shower that caused another leak in the BR and family room below.
    -They had to cut a hole in the newly painted wall in the Bathroom to find the leak.
    -They had to cut a hole in the newly painted and repaired family room ceiling.  
    -plumber came and repaired the leak;  Within 24 hours the leak recurred.
    -A second plumber opinion(from our contacts) revealed that their plumber failed to fix the original leak correctly.
    4.  Within 3 months of completion of project, a large crack occurred in the corner of the shower and the back wall is mobile.
    We called them constantly, documented our problems. They never took responsibility for the problems!
    Overall, we would like you to know that this has been the worst construction company we have ever dealt with.
