Insurance Agent reviews in Downers Grove

    Flury-Hinderks Insurance Agency
Calling Flury-Hinderks and dealing with Dan Dolan is the best decision I've made in a while. Switching over three policies went smooth as silk, and Dan found a problem with my previous coverage that could have caused me big financial problems in the future. I highly recommend reviewing your insurance needs with this company.

    K&B Financial, Inc.
It went great and I would recommend and K&B Financial to everyone. Mr. Johnnic took the time to go over all the options available to us and found a plan that suited us based on our medical needs and our budget---NO pressure at all. We felt like his concern was truly towards what was best for us but let us make the decision. He is a VERY honest man as is the company he works for, K&B Financial, Inc. Mr. Johnnic made us feel like we were discussing our needs with family---very personable and professional. Contact him at (815) 693-9008---you won't regret it.

    CIGNA HEALTHCARE
I have been with CIGNA for several years now, through my employer.  We are offered PPO and HMO services, and I have always been with the HMO.  The downside of an HMO is the need to do a bit more paperwork (referrals, etc.) but the cost is so much lower than a PPO (with both premiums and copays/deductibles) that I don't mind at all.  My copays are reasonable ($25/$40) and most of the doctors' offices in this area accept my insurance.  They have a pretty useful website where you can see your claims, reimbursement requests, and basic information, and you can submit most of that stuff online now.  Their customer service has vasty improved over the last several years. I have encountered a few billing issues and they are usually able to clear them up quickly.  They also have a lot of other services (counseling, access to medical articles, preventative screenings) that I think make a big difference.  I don't have a lot to compare them to (I've only had two different health insurance providers in my life) but I know they are much more flexible, helpful, and inexpensive than my spouse's!  My only complaint is that they are not completely covering "alternative" treatments or providers...  midwives, for example, or acupuncturists.

    FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE CORP
They are good about providing the service.  The downside is that they highly overpaid out of the service.  My premium is high like everybody else, their pricing is average.  They give good coverage.  Their responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism is very good.

State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co
The person who hit us and received a ticket was insured with State Farm. They have been rude to us and delayed services and payment since the day of the accident. Even though their driver hit us, received a ticket and admitted to the accident, State Farm has intentionally delayed our car repairs. We waited 3 weeks for them to admit liability. I even paid for and faxed the police report to them. They claimed it was "fuzzy" even though my insurance agent received the same fax clearly. They have been rude, condescending and ignorant to both my husband and I when we have phoned them. They are refusing to pay for a rental car for us for the first 2 weeks that they dragged their feet in admitting liability. Overall, it will take 6 or more weeks to repair our car. This is only because they refused to admit liability for the first 3 weeks!!! The owner of the car, the police and my family all said it was their drivers fault. They still did not admit liability for 3 weeks!!! Avoid State Farm Insurance at all costs unless you want to be jacked around and treated with disrespect and rudeness!!!

    CHRIS ANGILERI
I came to the office of Chris Angileri for over 15 years ago, when my agent retired. I usually work with Jane, but no matter who I talk to in the office, they provide wonderful service: immediate quotes, one-on-one meetings as I request, fax over paperwork if needed.
