Excellent - Dominic was very patient with me while I looked over several proposals and options. LaMantia had also done my driveway a few years prior. I will definitely contact LaMantia for any future projects! Judi Jolicoeur

La Mantia put in a new concrete driveway for us and it looks amazing! Our neighbors have all complimented how great it looks! The team that did the work were hardworking, knowledgeable and efficient. I didn't realize how much work putting in a driveway was but they made it looks easy. Dominic is awesome to work with and made the process a breeze. I would highly recommend them!!

    The Beauty In Concrete

Removed part of sinking concrete driveway, installed the new one, also removed old damaged and sinking concrete front step and made nice two steps instead just one.

Everything was done at same day.

The old step been very high to climb, I?m very happy with the project that been done for us.

Justin Walls, owner of the company was very pleasant to talk to about what we want to be done, he is very professional and friendly person.

    Thank you so much

    Concrete By Sennstrom
Tom was prompt in returning my initial inquiries. We arranged a time to meet and discuss the job. I knew this would be a lot of work. The quote was received in a timely manner.
Tom helped lay out the pros and cons to various stamp patters. He also provided some much needed advise on color choices. I was very grateful for that help.
Tom kept us informed as to the scheduled start date. When the job started, Tom was there every step of the way. Tom or his foreman made us aware of what would be happening next and what to expect. This was really nice, it was a big job and a major impact on my household.

Tom was prompt in returning my initial inquiries. We arranged a time to meet and discuss the job. I knew this would be a lot of work. The asphalt driveway wasn't in very good shape and the patio was worse.  The house is situated on an hill and storm water drainage was a major concern for my wife and myself. Before even mentioning my concern, Tom was talking about how to handle the storm water drainage. +1 for Tom.
Tom gave valuable input as to how he would reconfigure the patio; enlarging it, adding a walk into the backyard and a new pad for the air conditioner. For the front walk; there were two approaches to the front door. Neither approach made much sense and both were removed and replaced with one walk that followed the path that most people naturally took to the front door. These were just a couple examples of the suggestions that Tom made that really add to the overall satisfaction with the work done.

Tom's crew were very professional and genuinely took pride in their work.

    K&M Concrete Inc
This is a follow up to my last review on this company. Unfortunately, just a year and a half in and our patio is falling apart. It is chipping the top layer of stamped concrete and looks awful. K&M will not even come to our home to see their terrible work, because it's over the year warranty. Do yourself a favor and RUN away from this company. They are the worst!!!

    La Mantia Enterprises, Inc.

Dominic La Mantia was great to work with.  We called for an estimate in March while there was still snow on the ground.  The week that the snow finally melted he and his nephew came by to measure up the job so he could provide an estimate.  After accepting his bid we were invited to the La Mantia offices to discuss the project.  Dominic spent about 45 minutes explaining the process of the construction.  We looked at several samples of actual stamped concrete  sidewalk leading up to their front door.  This really helped my wife and I visualize what we wanted for our patio.  Originally we thought a stamped brick pattern was what we wanted, but we went with a natural stone texture after seeing these samples.  The concrete for the patio was colored and it was a two step process where they put a dye in the concrete that is one color and then highlight it with a releasing agent.  Dominic suggested we make a trip to Aurora to the material supplier of the product they used because they had dozens and dozens of samples using the various color combinations.  We did this one day and took pictures with our phones.  Dominic suggested we do this and hold the pics up to our house to see how the patio would look next to the house.  Good recommendation because the color that we liked at the suppliers yard was not the one eventually chose. We told Dominic we needed the patio ready for use by June 7 because we were planning a graduation party.  He said meeting that date would be no problem.

Once the weather allowed work to proceed La Mantia called us to schedule the work.  Work was cancelled the first planned day due to rain and the work was rescheduled.  They showed up as promised and did all the demolition and framing of the concrete on the first day with a crew of 4 guys.  The second day they poured all the concrete, everything with a crew of about 8 or 9 guys!  The last day they came out to saw cut the patio, backfill the edges with topsoil , seal the patio and clean up.  All the work done in three days including the clean up.  We were extremely pleased.  The crew was courteous, hard working and professional.

I got two other estimates for this work and one was about the same as La Mantia and the other was quite a bit higher.  We went with La Mantia because of the numerous positive responses on Angie's list and because Dominic was very helpful right from the start.  We will probably need to replace our driveway in the next few years and will definitely look to them as a first choice.  They also do landscaping so we would also make them a first choice for that type of work too.  We are very pleased.

    Concrete Craft
They came in and quoted well below all of the other services in the area. As a young couple trying to save some money while fixing up our house, price was a big selling point. Who knew we would get awesome service with it as well. We worked out the details in the early spring and as soon as the ground was thawed they got to work. They even finished the porch while we were on vacation. It was amazing to return with such a beautiful porch. Todd was easy going and answered all of my 1000s of questions quickly and politely. We will definitely be giving them a call again when we need to redo our back patio and sidewalk.

    K&M Concrete Inc
The only reason why K&M is getting an overall "C" is because the work actually turned out pretty good. Everything else about our experience was pretty awful. Donna, the receptionist, is rude, unresponsive and extremely unprofessional. Near the end of completion, she refused to even pick up the phone so we had no idea when workers were coming out, what they were doing and when our patio would be completed. It is super unfortunate, because K&M's product is pretty good, however we would NEVER recommend K&M to anyone else based on our experience, which is unfortunate as many friends and family have already asked who did the work because they were interested in contacting them.
Additionally, we had been working with Kent on the basic layout of the patio as well as the actual stamp and color that we wanted to use. He kept saying that he would pass along the info to his brother Mike, who would actually be doing more of the designing of the patio once we had our seating wall in. With our seating wall complete, the K&M crew came out and dug out half of the ground for the patio. I received a call that afternoon from Mike who said he needed to talk to us about the design we picked. We met at our house that evening and he said that he couldn't do the stamp that we had wanted based on the shape of the patio and it wouldn't look very good. We were furious! He kept offering suggestions of other stamps that were clearly not our style and we felt like we were backed into a corner as this was the design plan for months and at the last minute, we couldn't do it any longer. We threw a complete fit and decided to move forward with the stamp anyhow, even though Mike didn't recommend it. It turned out exactly how we wanted it, so not sure why they had caused us so much stress at the 11th hour. They even followed up to see if they could do a photo shoot there because it turned out so nice.

We were extremely pleased with LaMantia from start to finish. The owners are responsive, experienced and professional. Our patio project began and finished on time with no hiccups in timing, inspection or materials. The entire crew was pleasant and professional. Highly recommend.
