We have a huge Dutch elm that was dying and another tree next to it removed, plus trimming of 2 other large trees. Mike was in constant contact with us. He kept us up to date with return dates, and was fabulous to work with . Our yard and areas were the removal took place were cleaned to perfection! Would hire him again and will with additional work.

I was told they we come over on Thursday, I did not need to be home, and that they would call me. I did not hear from them so called on Friday morning. They said I was on the schedule for 2:00. I was at home until 3:30 and no one showed up nor did I ever receive a phone call.

This was a complicated project, which required extreme caution and significant expertise. The tree was in our back yard with no access to large equipment. It also was very close to the electrical wires for both our house and the neighbors, as well as the 6 foot wooden privacy fence and shed. The crew arrived promptly and worked diligently throughout the project, only stopping very briefly for lunch. The team work required to safely accomplish this job was amazing to observe. This crew was thoroughly professional, polite and certainly well versed in controling the dangerous aspects of this type of work. The owner, Michael, was on-site all day, which added to my level of complete satisfaction. Ive had other companies work on my trees in the past, none even came close to the quality work this company provided. I am not easily impressed but AAA Arborist far exceeded my expectations.

    Gray Tree Service
Rick was very responsive via phone and email, communicating every step of the way. The work was done as specified and the yard was left unbelievably clear of sawdust and branches. Thankful that I won't have to worry about low-hanging branches to power lines, my garage or the neighbors garages for years to come. Great job.

    Gray Tree Service
I had reached out to a couple of local tree trimming services to see if they could chop a large log that I had into my yard into wood slices for wedding centerpieces. Rick called me back right away and offered to do it for a very good price. He sent someone out right away. Great guys, highly recommended!

    Dany Tree Service Inc.
Everything went like clockwork. A few days after the estimate Tino set up the work date; the crew arrived on the arranged day and right on time. The work was done as specified and , I thought, quickly - about 2 hours after the start the driveway and sidewalk were being blown clear, twigs and branch scraps raked - up and removed from the back yard. I am very happy with the work , price , cleanup. I would definitely recommend Dany to anyone looking for tree removal.

    Perfect Turf Landscaping Inc
Working with Steve at Perfect Turf went very well and I highly recommend them! I searched over a few months for a reasonable priced landscaping company near Des Plaines that would give some design ideas and do it all - I found many to be lot of overpriced or underskilled, and consistently not responsive. Everything with Steve went smoothly and he was willing to change aspects to what I wanted in terms of style and price. He was easy to get in touch with, willing to walk through ideas/make changes/answer questions, and generously honored my Angie's List discount though I forgot to mention it during the estimate meeting. Perfect Turf breaks down the cost of labor and plants which is great; I recommend taking some time to research plants if your budget is tight, we were able to save some money by going back and switching out more expensive choices for more economical ones. One other tip: they shop at Lurvey which is great quality but pricey, may be worth looking at other places if available (we got the work done toward the end of the fall when most stores are done with live plants, but in the summer you may find better deals elsewhere). The work was done very quickly and professionally and we're very happy with the final result. We would use Perfect Turf again for landscaping needs.

    AAA Tree Surgeon Inc
Tino turned up a day or two late to do the estimate. Not a huge deal as I was still getting quotes, but a call on the evening he was originally supposed to turn up would have been nice. When he did turn up he really knew what he was talking about and he is a really nice guy. I enjoyed talking to him and got a fantastic quote. I did ask him if he was licensed, bonded and insured and he advised me that he was. I informed him I would need proof before job starts. I told him I would call him back the next day or two to let him know if he got the job as I had a couple more estimates to get. I called him back the next day to let him know that I would like him to proceed. He told me that he could do it next week and would call me back on Sunday to arrange the day but probably Wednesday. I never heard back from him so I called him on Tuesday and he informed me he would be out the next day. I reminded him I would need proof of L,B & I and he told me he would email me after the call. He did not email me so I sent him an email the next morning (day of cutting) to advise him that I cannot allow him to proceed without proof of insurance as I would not be held liable for any loss of life, limb or damage to my property. Got home that evening and nothing done. No call from Tino. I called him that evening to find out what happened and he advised me that he was waiting for insurance company to put our details on insurance and it takes a few days so should be good to go following Tuesday/Wednesday. I asked him about proof of license and he advised me not required. I asked him to please keep me posted as I had already left work early on Wed. He assured me he would. I still had not heard back from him as of last Wednesday (07.26.17). I called and left him a voicemail asking for an update as I would need to know if I need to move on to the next contractor. As of today (07.31.17), he still has not called me back and I am reaching out to the next contractor in line. I don't know if he got abducted by aliens and they forgot to return him or if gravity failed on the last place he was and he fell off the face of the earth. Hopefully he is okay as he seemed like a really nice guy and I do wish him the best but you gotta call your customer back and confirm you are going to do the job or admit that you somehow messed up and are unable to.

Michael completed a free estimate within a few hours after I called to request it. Michael's price was competitive with the others we received. The work was scheduled to be completed within a week. Unfortunately, we had some rather large rain storms that delayed the service; however, Michael was very timely with calling me to reschedule. On the day of service, the crew was scheduled to arrive between 8:00-8:30am; however, they did not arrive until 9am. This is my only complaint and I wouldn't have minded so much if I wasn't on a tight schedule to get to work after the removal was completed. Michael and his crew worked safely and quickly. The whole removal process took a little over an hour and a half. The crew was sure to work around the power lines and the nearby fence. Michael even offered to clear our the front gutters near the tree since they were so clogged from the tree hanging over them for so long and the removal process. The crew cleaned up the yard and sidewalk directly surrounding the former tree location. I'm so glad a co-worker recommended Michael and his company because they did great work. If I ever need tree services again, I will be sure to contact AAA Arborist Tree Experts

    Leo Lara Landscaping
He is a local landscaper. It turns out to be a real bear of a job. My wife and I use to do it, and it would take us three days, and we would fill up 20 of those lawn bags. Now that I'm older, I use Leo to do that.
