    Green Tech Plumbing Co
I called Green Tech and they set up an appointment for the next day. The technician, Chaun (sp?), showed up on time. He did a fantastic job and fixed our low water pressure problem. We were quite impressed with his work. Quite pleased with Green Tech. Would certainly use them again.

    KNOW-HOWE Home Services, Inc.
Mr. Howe knew exactly what the problem was and had in fact told me what to do when I first contacted him days before, to see if he was right. He then came and was able to fix the issue. He always explains what he is doing and why. Very friendly and informative.

    Green Tech Plumbing Co
Left a message around 8:15am and received a return phone call from Kevin almost immediately.I told Kevin the problem. He asked what our availability was, told him we are home. He said he could set up a 11:00 am for us. Tim showed up and looked over the situation. Her then told us what he recommends for repairing the leak. We readily accepted. Tim did a great job, was very professional, pleasant and experienced. He double checked everything and cleaned everything up. We were totally pleased with our experience with Green Tech. Plumbing.

Village Plumbing & Sewer Service Inc
First, we called Village Plumbing on a sump pump issue when we discovered our sump pump spraying from its pipe. (This was in early 2018.) I called and explained the problem, wondering when they could fit us in their schedule. The woman I spoke to said they could get us in later that afternoon. I was surprised and grateful. Later that day, the plumber showed up and easily fixed our sump issue by putting on new bands. He was professional and friendly. While he was here I took the opportunity to point out a perpetual water leak in our basement coming from under our washing machine and creeping along one basement wall. I asked if he had any suggestions about the leak. He took a look and said the first thing that needed to be done was send a camera into the sewer to determine what the problem was. I appreciated that after we have had a parade of companies through that have suggested all sorts of expensive fixes. We invited our city plumbing inspector to our house for suggestions as we felt overwhelmed with all of the different fixes and price points, and he said the same thing Village Plumbing said. That was that, we called Village Plumbing for an appointment to send a camera into our sewer. We can't say enough positive things about our experience. Every employee we met through the company has been nothing but professional and friendly. First, they came out and investigated the sewer pipe outside and quickly determined that it was broken so water was pooling in the area. This pipe was easily reached as it was not buried as it should have been. They then sent a camera to check out the rest of the pipe that runs down our property and found everything was okay there. They were careful with our plantings and covered up the hole they created with plywood, explaining the pipe should be moved inside the basement, but could also be repaired outside. We opted to move the pipe indoors and close off the outside pipe. This initial visit was about $850. They were at our house for several hours. (I am not including this or the sump visit in the cost for the pipe fix.) On another date, which was several weeks later because our schedule didn't allow a sooner visit even though they were available, Village Plumbing returned in the morning right on time and worked in our basement and outside until about 2 p.m. They removed the broken pipe outside and placed a new cap on the good portion of the pipe. Downstairs, they capped off the old pipe and connected a new PVC pipe that is positioned close to the ceiling in our basement, running along until it connects to another sewer pipe in our basement. They cleaned up in the basement and outside so it looked like no one had disturbed the area. They also handled the city permit and had the city inspector come to the house while they were on site. And, true to the plumber's prediction, the water has stopped coming into the basement. I wish our sump had started spraying earlier because we could have saved ourselves a parade of companies suggesting all sorts of expensive fixes that probably wouldn't have addressed the issue at all.

    Drip Drop Plumbing
We had a plugged sink that resisted both Drano-O and our own rodding, plus a second sink that was slow. Drip Drop responded pretty much instantaneously to my online request for service. The plumber was courteous and friendly, and very capable. I kind of fell over at the price -- $292 to unplug a sink -- but that may be typical for this kind of service. The plumber said that if he could unplug the second sink without trouble he would not charge for it, and that turned out to be the case. Drip Drop also gives a 90-day guarantee on their work, and -- again -- he said that if he is called back in the 90-day window for the first sink, hed check the second at the same time. We were extremely pleased with the service and will hire again.

    Mattco Plumbing Inc.
The upstairs neighbors tub had a leak, which destroyed our bathroom ceiling. Matt coordinated with the upstairs neighbor, took care of his tub and our ceiling flawlessly. Matt also diagnosed an issue with the kitchen sink assembly and repaired it. He took care of all these issues at the same time, in one day. He cleaned up after himself and was delightful to deal with throughout the whole process.

    Handyman Pros
Dan our workman was outstanding! Renovating a 33 year old bathroom can offer some challenges and Dan was incredibly good at coming up with solutions, on the fly, in a cost effective way. I'm just thrilled with the outcome and I'm already planning future projects with Handyman Pros. This was actually my second (bigger) project with the company so I'm definitely a repeat customer.

    Green Tech Plumbing Co
Dan showed up promptly at the scheduled time. He reviewed the problem and immediately began to repair the issue. He worked quickly and once completed left the area clean. He was polite, professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to draw me a diagram of the problem and its resolution. I highly recommend this company.

    J&S Plumbing, Inc.
It just so happens that someone was in the area, so they got there pretty quick, I want to say 30-45 minutes after my call. They showed up, saw the valve, explained what it would take (and price), and then they finished in like 45-50 minutes. Service was great, quality of work was great, the guys themselves were great, and I don't know if I just paid a "minimum fee" or something, but $250 seemed kind of steep just to replace the water valves. The parts were probably $25 (since I was shopping to do it myself anyway), but even if they were $50, $200 for 1 hr of labor is a lot, I think. Just FYI, to have them come to your place it's $90, and then if they do the work, that $90 goes toward the price of work. In other words, if they came and told me what it would take, and I didn't use their service, it would have still cost me $90. Anyway, I was pretty worried for a couple days that I'd have a tsunami in my basement because of this thing, so for me, personally, $250 was a small price to pay to relieve me of the worry and stress.

    JUST FAUCETS
Not well at all! Actually, part of the problem was my fault for being foolish enough not to do the research and for not checking out the reviews on Just Faucets before ordering from them. Also, the big banner behind their service counter saying No Returns! should have been a clue! I was remodeling a small bathroom. I needed a sink faucet set, a shower assembly, a heat lamp/vent fan combo for the room and a vent fan for the shower. Picked up everything at Just Faucets. While checking out the vent fan installation instructions on the internet, I ran across the price of the same fan at HD. At $130, it was $95 dollars less than at Just Faucets! OMG! I began checking out the prices of the rest of what I had purchased. Not good! Heat lamp/vent fan combo: $53 at Menards vs. $135 at Just Faucets. Hand held shower & connecting elbow: $148 at HD vs. $231 at Just Faucets. Sink faucet assembly: $215 at Lowes & HD vs.$278 at Just Faucets. So, for these four items I paid roughly $870 vs. about $560 at HD, Menards, or Lowes. Foolish me! I gave away $310! So I went back to Just faucets armed with my "after-the-fact" research ( about 25 pages) and got some mumbled comment about their costs being higher than the big box stores. I understand that, but NOT the 55% additional that they charged me! Sherwin said he would see what he could do and get back to me. I gave him a copy of my research and left. That was two weeks ago. Have I heard back from Sherwin? Foolish me! Lesson learned: do the research BEFORE I buy and NEVER go back to Just Faucets!
