    EXPRESS SCRIPTS
I just don't think that they communicate when a prescription is no longer on their approved list. That happened to me multiple times. If they could communicate better with what type of prescriptions were approved, then I wouldn't have to go through so much hassles to reorder my meds and call the doctor. So, if they could be more proactive on that, that would be really appreciated. It's allergy meds.

They are very good.  They send the prescriptions and they call me up to check if I want to reorder about a month ahead of time.  If I don’t want to order then, I can give them a call at a later date when I want to reorder.  If I don’t have any refills, they fax my doctor.  I am so satisfied I going to have my wife’s prescriptions changed to them.  I am going to change my brother in law’s prescriptions also to them.  He is relatively incapacitated and he needs somebody to remind him.  I have had them for about four or five years now.  I think that their price is cheaper.  I have nothing but good things to say about them.  They give a window of seven to ten days and the prescription is usually in my house by two days.  They have a pharmacist who I can talk to if I have any questions.

    Walgreens
They are good. The medicine is ready when they say. They will answer any questions that you have about the medicine and they will ask if you have any questions. You can refill over the phone and probably online although I have never done it. The medicine is always ready when it is supposed to be, and if it is not, they will call and tell you. They always have the medicine you need. Overall, I would say that it is a good pharmacy. It is close to me and the only pharmacy that I use.

    Walgreens
Went smoothly the most recent visit; in that past I have been given the wrong prescriptions (2 people with same name) but now they confirm patient by requesting the address; often have to wait in the drive up lane for 5-10 mins before being served; pharmacists/staff are extremely helpful with info and working with insurance.

They are not always thorough when reading the medical information. I have been given drugs that would have expired before I was able to use them. They are not always good at calling promptly when there is difficulty filling prescriptions.

    Walgreens Pharmacy - Des Plaines
It is convenient for me because I drive through less traffic to reach the pharmacy. I go there mainly for my medications, and if I need intravenous fluids at home. I had also picked some stuff on sale, and they have been very good about that. Overall, I have had a good experience with them. However, I did have one bad experience there. I needed a nebulizer and some other medication. It was set up for me, and I went in there to pick it. They told me that my prescription company wouldn?t cover it. We were communicating back forth for 5 days and everybody was calling everybody. On the fifth day, my prescription insurance called and informed me that this falls under Medicare part B and that they wouldn?t be covering it. They said if I had Medicare Part B, Medicare will pay for whatever was ordered by the doctors. The nebulizers were ordered by the doctors, so they would pay for that portion of the bill. I didn?t know about it because I have never had this experience before. Because of all this confusion, I was off of medication for 5 days. I gave them the Medicare card, and it went through. In addition to that I gave them my other insurance card to cover my balance, but they told me that it is not a prescription card.

I have been going to this Walgreens for years. They are very helpful and professional. I love the drive thru option so I don't have to drag my 3 children inside. Our prescriptions have always been filled very promptly and the pharmacists are always available to answer any questions.

    WALGREENS
I've had mixed experiences with this pharmacy. First, the positives: the staff are friendly and the location is very convenient. Also, since Walgreen's are everywhere, I can get refills at any store. My problems with this store are: not 24 hours (or, not open late), they're often busy, there can be a long wait and there have been times when I've called on the phone and no one answered. Or they didn't have my prescription ready when promised. It can be very difficult to turn into and out of the lot due to traffic. I've been to better and worse pharmacies, this one does the job when needed.

    WALGREENS
I dropped off my prescription and they told me it would be a half hour wait, I told them i would wait here, he then said he would have to fill the others first. I then went on a few errands when i came back they said they couldn't fill it, and that they had called me (at my house). The medicine had not been in stock in the first place. I then had to ask if he could call other Walgreens to see if they could fill it. He did finally find one. I finally got it filled but the customer service at this particular locations left a lot to be desired.

    TARGET
The staff here is very nice, though they seem to be extremely busy at times. We've had some problems with them not having medications in stock. At least once, they did not have enough for a 3 month supply so we could not get our insurance company's discounted price, and/or we had to make a return trip to pick up the remainder of the medication. Other times, they have not had items like an inhaler in stock, which means they can't just give a few pills to last until they get more. Also, one time they processed the insurance payment before realizing they didn't have the medication in stock, so I couldn't take the prescription anywhere else (or even another Target store) because the insurance computer said it had already been filled. Still, we keep going there because the staff is extremely nice and helpful, and we can get other shopping done while waiting.
