    Eco Tec Insulation Inc
I was currently purchasing a home and was told it needed insulation. I did not own the home and was turned down by several other companies for an estimate. Eco Tec was very helpful, came out on my schedule walked the entire house with me and gave me an estimate. I ended up not purchasing that home but I will for sure be calling Eco Tec as soon as I close on the one I am buying. From begining to end they were all highly professional, knowledgable, curtious and on time!

Joe was great. He was very informative when he came over to do the estimate and answered all my questions and concerns. He and his coworker came on the hottest day of the year and did a great job. He let me know of a concern regarding improper venting from my bathroom and we discussed how to monitor and address humidity issues if they arise. We was very thoughtful and polite throughout the entire process. I would recommend him for sure.

    DESIGNfirst Builders LLC
We highly recommend Design First. We needed our master bath torn out and redone due to water seepage behind the wall. We added some insulation as long as walls were open and chose to move the toilet and that involved some work with water lines and joists. We chose Design First because their price was competitive and they had positive reviews from others. This was a big investment for us, so we wanted it done right with experienced craftsmen and permits. We also liked the fact that they are very clear and transparent, listing all of the charges in this process upfront so you know what you are paying for before you agree to anything. They were very flexible with us supplying our own purchases and we made changes as needed along the way. The project manager, Derek, was terrific. He was hands-on as a supervisor and really quick to answer any questions we had. He got back to us within hours - sometimes minutes- and took care of any concerns. One example: after the shower was installed we did not like the shiny look of the silicone sealant applied at the base. The next day, they came out, removed it all by hand at no charge to us. The crew that worked in our home, headed by Damien, was skilled, cheerful and very efficient. They got our bathroom done ahead of schedule. We are very pleased with it, and would recommend Design First without reservation.

If Holda could be a painter he would be a Michaelangelo. He performs well walk throughs beginning, during and end of project. He's very experienced and speaks with confidence. I would definitely use him again for future projects, and will refer to family and friends.

    Green Attic Insulation
Got a quote and day set up very quickly before the holiday - which was great. Unfortunately that is where the good stopped. Being early is normally a good thing but the technician showed up 6.5 hours early (8AM instead of 3PM) and sent other workers away from the job that were scheduled to work. The insulation process went okay but there were issues that included a very large pile of insulation in the finished crawlspace that had to be addressed with 2 follow up calls and a technician returning. When the technician returned after the time window I was given, he was unprofessional, telling me the crawlspace was a different space and that he left the kitchen clean. After sweeping up the crawlspace and telling me he couldn't vacuum he then began to ask about the patches they put in the drywall, and began touching the wet paint on the walls with his bare hands, resulting in us having to pick insulation out of wet paint to which he replied "oh, looks like another job" and then left. Will give them all the benefit of the doubt. The price was good, the scheduling and work was fast and of decent quality, but they left a mess in the house and on the street and the technician was less than professional during both visits.

    Professional Home Improvement Inc
Overall, we were very happy with the finished product. We loved the quality of the siding and the aesthetics. Mal Graifman, the owner, spent a great deal of time with us on the initial design and took care to walk us through every step of the process. When we asked him for references we were pointed to three houses, all of which appeared to be done with top of the line product and were beautiful. However, as a comparison, when discussing the project with another contractor, that contractor gave us pages of references, so that we could see not only his best work, but also his oldest work, to get a good feel for how it would look over time. I wish Mal had done the same. Ultimately, we chose Mal and the Professionals because of the presentation and Mal really prided himself on his craftsmanship, as well as the fact that he could guarantee who would be working on our house and that they had decades of experience with his company. We found that to be incredibly valuable. Mal came up with a great, yet simple (to conform with our budget) idea for the remodel of our front porch. My only areas of complaint would be that the project took quite longer than expected (which was in part due to weather and personal issues with his crew that were unavoidable), and that it seemed like we really had to stay on top of things to make sure the project was done according to the initial plan. A couple examples include that (1) the wrong color gable vent was installed (and only noticed when we pointed it out) and (2) the siding was almost completely installed on the front of the house when I noticed that the belly board was forgotten. I felt like Mal could have paid closer attention to the project while it was in progress. But with all that being said, Mal was very responsive and his crew worked very hard to finish the project as soon as they could. We only had minor details that needed to be changed during the final walk through, and to this day I am totally thrilled with the end result. We had a difficult house to work with, and Mal made sure we were able to get what we wanted within our budget, even with some unexpected complications. Before (top) and after (bottom) photos below, as well as some in-progress images.

The quoting, scheduling, and testing went seamlessly. The installation had a 2 minor hiccups, but the team and their management handled them well. They were able to install the insulation while making minimal cuts in our walls, cleaned up behind themselves well, and did all the work in one (long) day. They filed for rebates to bring the price of our service down by $700, all we had to provide was a couple bills and sign the rebate form. It could not have been easier. I would recommend this team to friends, neighbors, family.

Why Not Complete Home Improvements Inc
Lenny and his team were extremely responsive. Lenny quickly identified the problem with the roof, and described, in detail, the work needed to properly fix the issue. He was extremely knowledgeable & professional. I felt completely at ease that he would get the work done correctly, and in a timely manner.

After completing the work, he stopped by the property to ensure everything was good.

As a huge bonus, he came back to the property 8 months later to make modifications to the heated cords to accommodate some gutter changes that the Housing Association was implementing. Again, he was very responsive and accommodating. He even did the work at no additional charge.

Lenny has been awesome to work with, and I'll definitely use him in future for any home improvement needs. 5 stars! Highly recommended!

We've used them a couple times. Recently, we've had them come in and they set bait and come back every few months to check the bait. They do a good job. They do what they are supposed to do. They are a little pricey.

    Illinois Insulation Experts
It was a great experience working with Gus the owner. Gus came by and did a free estimate, he was so nice and professional. He specializes strictly in attics, he is not a jack of all trades type of business. He was not at all a high pressure salesman like some previous experiences I had he was actually quite the opposite, he told us to take time to discuss it and get back to him. He went into our attic and took pictures and explained what was good and bad with our current situation, he took the time to answer all of our questions. I will definitely refer him to all of my friends and family because the overall experience was great...including value, professionalism and quality. Oh yeah another thing he is a huge cancer advocate and he actually gives back part of his earnings to help find a cure.
