    EXPRESS SCRIPTS
I just don't think that they communicate when a prescription is no longer on their approved list. That happened to me multiple times. If they could communicate better with what type of prescriptions were approved, then I wouldn't have to go through so much hassles to reorder my meds and call the doctor. So, if they could be more proactive on that, that would be really appreciated. It's allergy meds.

I've had them for two years. The only problem that I have with them is, they use Express Scripts for billing their prescription. BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD
I lost all appeals. The LiveStrong Organizatuon found me The Patient Advocacy foundation to represent me and finally The Illinois Department of Insurance forced Blue across to pay the Bill. This experience added to my huge stress levels. BC was impersonal and maintained that because the cancer was surgically removed a PET scan was not necessary because I didn't have cancer. A ridiculous argument.

Overall this is a very easy company to use for health insurance. Claims are submitted electronically. Most visits and prescriptions are discounted. When they have not paid a claim, I submitted more information that they needed and it was then paid. Sometimes you have to speak with a supervisor to get a claim paid.

    UNITED HEALTHCARE
Over the course of 2 months and 10 pieces of correspondence, UHC finally paid for the ultrasound. It remains unclear on why so much paper had to be mailed over something they were going to pay for. To ask them was not an option, as the frustration level of never getting the same answer was much too great for this reviewer.
I'm just glad in the end, it was taken care of.

    Rainbow Hospice & Palliative Care
Everyone we worked with from Rainbow (with one execption) was amazing; professional, caring, and attentive. They provided weekly care for our mom's physical needs but just as importantly cared for her spirit. They listened to her concerns, cared for her as if she were one of their own loved ones. The one person who was the exception was pushy and offensive about her own religious faith. We reported to Rainbow, they apologized and followed up. We are forever grateful to Rainbow staff for helping us and mom through her last months with love and dignity.

    RightSource Pharmacy
They are very good.  They send the prescriptions and they call me up to check if I want to reorder about a month ahead of time.  If I don’t want to order then, I can give them a call at a later date when I want to reorder.  If I don’t have any refills, they fax my doctor.  I am so satisfied I going to have my wife’s prescriptions changed to them.  I am going to change my brother in law’s prescriptions also to them.  He is relatively incapacitated and he needs somebody to remind him.  I have had them for about four or five years now.  I think that their price is cheaper.  I have nothing but good things to say about them.  They give a window of seven to ten days and the prescription is usually in my house by two days.  They have a pharmacist who I can talk to if I have any questions.

    Walgreens
They are good. The medicine is ready when they say. They will answer any questions that you have about the medicine and they will ask if you have any questions. You can refill over the phone and probably online although I have never done it. The medicine is always ready when it is supposed to be, and if it is not, they will call and tell you. They always have the medicine you need. Overall, I would say that it is a good pharmacy. It is close to me and the only pharmacy that I use.

    Northwest Eye Clinic
They have great availability. I was able to get in right away. You get really good attention because it's a teaching hosipital, so it feels as though your getting the care of two doctors. The only negative is that you cannot request a specific doctor.

Went smoothly the most recent visit; in that past I have been given the wrong prescriptions (2 people with same name) but now they confirm patient by requesting the address; often have to wait in the drive up lane for 5-10 mins before being served; pharmacists/staff are extremely helpful with info and working with insurance.
