    I called and asked for an apt and was able to get one within the hour.  My husband has been coming to them for over 15 yrs with our cars.  Now that he is ill, I took the car in for its oil change.  They are friendly, professional, and very very committed to customer service.  Both our cars are foreign and the work done on them has been first rate.  I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

    I called because my car would not start and it was doing weird things after it was jump-started by AAA. I thought something was seriously wrong. I brought it in, they did diagnostics, and confirmed that it only needed a new battery.

    I was told the DRL's couldn't be activated in my model, the A/C needed a pressure valve, and that the engine head had failed. A spark plug sleeve had backed out of the head, causing loss of compression, and the only solution was to replace the head. I was told the vehicle would be ready in about a week, and when the week was over I couldn't get my service writer on the phone. At two weeks the car was ready, but when I picked it up the A/C still didn't work. I made a 'waiting' appointment, hoping the mechanic just forgot to plug something in. After a couple of hours the service writer said it was low on freon, and they added some plus dye to help find any leaks. I found the car parked in exactly the same place I left it, and the A/C still didn't work. I was told I'd need a third appointment, on a different day, and that I'd be given a loaner car.  I dropped the car off in the morning, and was told it was ready that same evening. The service writer said they found an electrical problem, and it would be an additional $300 over the $4000 I was charged for the initial repairs. When I went to pick up the car, I refused to pay the $300, because I'd already paid to have it fixed. They didn't argue at all, and dropped the charges.

    I went in for an oil change and after I declined 2 packages of sales recommendations, coincidentally they discovered the bolt on oil pan gasket was stripped by "whoever has been doing my oil changes". Since the car could no longer hold oil, I had to consent to the $600 repair. Sounds very suspect to me. Unless you want a $600 oil change, steer clear of this place.

    This was my first visit here and I will definitely be back. My minivan's sliding door came off the track and it would not shut all the way. They were able to get the door back on its track and was able to close and lock it so I can safely use the car. They also provided me a straight forward estimate that was 4 times less than what I was guessing to properly fix the door. My first impression here is this is an HONEST auto repair shop that will do what is NEEDED.

    I am a new customer and have been very happy with JC Auto. They are very professional and go out of their way to make sure the customer is happy with the service performed. They also send you reward coupons as an incentive. I just used my $20 coupon towards my oil change that would have normally cost me about $35.00. Yes, I will definitely bring my car back to JC's!

    The check engine light on my car kept coming on and then goign off on its own. When it finally stayed on for a couple of weeks I brought the car in fror repair. Chucks couldn't find a problem - but didn't charge me for diagnostics. They reset the light and told me to come back if it happened again. After it happened again, I brought it back and they still couldn't find anything wrong - told me to take it to a dealer. Again didn't charge me. Not sure what to say about quality of their work since they didn't actually do anything. We have used them in the past with other repair that didn't require diagnostics and were generally happy.

    They were very upfront and honest. They gave me options and did not pressure  me one way or the other. I did have a small issue with the work they did and they resolved it. However, the one thing I find inconvenient is they do  not have later evening or weekend hours which prevents me from using their service more frequently for routine maintenance.

    Overall I would say they are an A but their price is a little B. It is the only place where I can sit in recliners, drink the coffee they give me, and in the morning, cookies and donuts. They always seem honest; that is something I can't always say for auto repair places.
