    Red Oak Tree Service Inc
Red Oak Tree Service Inc. has done three jobs for me in the last year, and they are real pros who get the job done quickly for a fair price. Humberto is always very quick to get me an onsite quote. Our first job was a clean up job after straight line winds knocked down 6 trees in our yard. They varied from all the way down to hung up in other trees. One hung perilously over a basketball hoop, but Red Oak got them all without an issue. The next job was removing a huge oak (40 inch diameter) that was nearly dead in our front yard and grinding off about 2 dozen stumps that had been left from previous years of smaller tree removal. Again, a terrific job was done. Lastly, we just had them in to remove another half-dozen trees that were leaning precariously toward our home. I also had about three acres of wooded lot that had not been maintained, and I want to have the dead/dying/down trees cut down for safety and for aesthetics. That was probably another 50 trees varying from 4 inch diameter to 20+ inch. A job that would have taken me a month, and even then I could not have tackled a few of the widow-makers, was done by the Red Oak crew in a day (8 am - 6 pm). They had several chainsaws going, tree climbers, bobcats, a large Vermeer chipper, and a stump grinder on site. Everything was done exactly as agreed, and they left a clean site behind. I was impressed that the team is very focused on their safety and that of my home and property. These guys do a great job at a fair price.

    NORTHERN TREE SVC
Pete came on the scheduled day and explained what he was going to do. He spent extra time educating me about the type of tree in our yard. He was professional and personable. (He even answered the questions of the neighbor boy peeking over the fence.) He did what was requested and cleaned up the yard nicely. We are very pleased with his work and would definitely hire him in the future.

    The Davey Tree Expert Company
Both the arborist and the gentlemen that came out to do the work were very friendly, accommodating, and open to questions. Everything looked good and was well cleaned up. The price for the work was fair, as Davey does employ certified arborists which comes with a little higher price tag, but peace of mind and expertise as well.

    Red Oak Tree Service Inc
Our service was great. They were prompt and even came out in a storm to remove limb. When it was deemed unsafe for them to proceed we rescheduled and they came back at the appointed time. Very pleased with their service.

    FJR Tree Inc.
Excellent! This is the second time we have used this company. The owner and his staff well exceeded our expectations of knowledge, professionalism, and courtesy. Each time we have used them the owner carefully explained all options available to us and provided very fair and competitive pricing for each option. They arrived as scheduled and completed all work as scheduled. They were highly respectful of our property as well as our neighbors. They did a great job and we already have them on our calendar for upcoming tree trimming needs.

    ATA Tree Services
Tree removal was adequate and done within a day. Pricing seemed OK. Cleanup of trunk/branches also adequate however our neighbor stated that she needed to tell the workers to remove their heavy equipment etc from their property which adjoins ours; workers also left behind items - e.g. a chain from a chainsaw and empty water bottles. Kind of sloppy. We also had ATA grind the tree stump which resulted in a huge pile of wood chunks about 6 feet by 16 inches in the middle of our lawn. ATA owner told us that they leave this pile because it decomposes into a "nutrient rich" substance for our lawn and that we should spread whatever remains into garden areas. Not being familiar with this procedure - and trusting Mr. ATA owner because he seemed like a friendly believable fellow - we did not question his statement. However, once we checked online we discovered that this pile of potential will probably take years to decompose and in the meantime if you don't add nitrogen to the pile - it will suck out the nitrogen from your existing lawn. Consequently we requested the pile be removed. Mr. ATA said okay - we will do that. About 2 weeks later we contacted him again - said pile still sitting on our lawn. He lost our number (??) - he'll be there by the end of the week. Next week we called again - apologies from him - they are very busy - they will remove the pile within the next couple of days. Surprise - once again no removal. I texted Mr. ATA and requested that he tell us if he really doesn't intend on removing the pile so that we could deal with this some other way. He did not have the courtesy to respond - either way. We have passed by where the ATA vehicles are parked and they are approximately 15 minutes from our house. For a couple of tree workers I believe removing this pile including travel time would not have been a huge burden for Mr. ATA's budget - but it WILL be a huge project for us! Did I mention we are in our 60's? - and that my husband is disabled So much for friendly trustworthy contractors.

    ATA Tree Services
I contacted ATA Tree Services on a Thursday. I was pleased because they immediately came out to give us an estimate. They stated that they were in the area and would remove the limb. They left out house without any indication on when they would be back and the limb was not removed. I contacted them later in the day and they stated they had to leave but would be out the next day, which would have been a Friday. By Monday my tree limb was still there. I contacted them one more time and they stated the would be out later in the day. They never showed up and never called. We wasted two days of our time waiting for them to come. A courtesy phone call to say they either didn't want the the job or weren't able to come is the least I would expect from a provider.

    Doug's Side Jobs
Doug exceeded our expectations.  He made our yard beautiful again and he did it all in about a day and a half.  He kept us informed about when he would be working at the house, was very professional, did an excellent clean-up job and an overall awesome job.  He was also able to start the work within a couple days, so our yard was beautiful for the holiday weekend.  I would not only recommend Doug's Side Jobs, but I will be calling him for additional services.

    FJR Tree Inc.
Fred and his workers are very professional and do an excellent quality job of trimming trees.  They were punctual and arrived on time as agreed.  Also because Fred is a Certified Arborist, he recommended that this type of tree be pruned during the winter when it is dormant.    They were very meticulous in thinning out the tree and cutting back limbs that were too close to the ground and hanging over neighbors fences.  Also they cleaned up all the small twigs and branches.  Very thorough and very professional.  Will definitely use them for all tree problems in the future.

    FJR Tree Inc.
Fred and his staff were fantastic. I am so sorry it took so long to write this review, and I'm not positive about the date, I know it was in the late spring. I had wanted the work done for years and finally decided to have it done. FJR Tree returned my call quickly and Fred came out for an estimate in short order. He gave me an honest assessment of the trees I wanted removed and even ones I didn't. I did not feel rushed or that he was pushing extra work on me - in fact he recommended keeping one of the trees I wanted removed (I removed it anyways). The price we settled on was beyond fair. When the work day came, the FJR crew came out on time and finished the work more quickly than I thought they would. The ground was soggy with spring thaws/rain but despite using some large equipment my yard looked better than it did before they came! Everything was removed and the yard raked, blown, and cleaned. Everyone I talked to since then has been amazed by the price and the quality of work done. I can't thank Fred and his team enough.
