    Barrington Orthopedic Specialists
Overall, the appointment was great! The staff (intake and x-ray tech) were all friendly and Dr. Knuth was very knowledgeable! The office is clean, organized and really kid- friendly (great little play area). Dr. Knuth is great within his expertise and really knows how to explain what's going on to the patient, he drew a diagram and everything! He is a smart and compassionate doctor! I would highly recommend him to anyone, especially for kids!

    McHenry County Orthopaedics
It went very well. They were very careful not to cause any movement that would effect the healing process. As I healed, they exercised my ankle so I got back my complete movement and strength. I gained my strength and movement much faster than first thought. They were always pleasant and thorough. Everything was always very clean. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help. I would highly recommend them.

    Cook, Dr. Gregory
Dr. cook listened to me about the areas I was having issues with.  I am very active and I beat up my body with hard work outs.  Dr. Cook quickly gets my joints 8 muscles working correctly.  I always feet a difference right busy after he is done.  I have never seen results so fast when I am in pain!

The surgery was Dec. 28th and went well, actually better than we had hoped. He explained everything to my family after surgery. Surprisingly, on my second day home, he called to see how things were going and if I had any questions. Today I had my follow up and begin physical therapy next week. I would highly recommend him.

    GODDARD SCHOOL
In the three total weeks that our children were enrolled, we received THREE phone calls to pick up our infant due to their "sick policy".  The policy states that any 2 instances of a loose stool or vomiting or a combination, the child will be sent home.  This is GREAT for a child that is not an infant.  However, parents with infants know that this is a laughable policy for an infant that is not ready for solid foods.  The room has 8 infant cribs and we have rarely seen more than 4 infants in the room.  Interesting.  We pay the most for this room for "the ratio".  Then there is one teacher and one floater since they never can keep infants there.  Seems to me that they are using this room to boost the overall profits, and leaving parents hung out to dry.

They feed table food to our infant for breakfast (for which it is questionable if he is ready). He gags himself on it and vomits.  Strike one.  Instead of stopping the table food, they feed it to him at a second meal.  He again, gags and vomits!  Surprise!  Now we get a call to come get him since their teacher isn't paying attention.  And we can't bring him back without a doctor's note the next day as it hasn't been 24 hours since he last had a symptom.  We get the note from the doctor.

Since he has been gagging on the table food, we cut our infant back to formula and baby food.  Now our infant has 3 loose stools in a day.  He had no fever.  He had no rash.  He had no other signs or symptoms of illness.  Yet we have to come pick him up.

I cannot stress enough to not use this location until they change their sick policy.  We have now heard from other families that have had similar issues.  I wish we had heard this three weeks ago.  Oh, and they won't let you pay weekly via check, they only do a credit/debit form.  And their policy is 30 days notice.  So now we get to pay for care that our kids won't receive, as well as a new site.

I'll be calling my bank on Monday to dispute that charge.  I'm sure the owner doesn't want to loose her cash cow, so we will have to fight.

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION.  If you are there, take your kids somewhere else, it is only a matter of time before they figure out how to run a school that has policies that exclude your child.  Don't let it happen to you.

From my initial consultation each time through treatment (in 2 cases resulting in eventual surgery) I have been impressed with the communication, explanation and patience. The physicians answer all questions and the support staff is friendly and accommodating.

    Cook, Dr. Gregory
There are two different businesses run out of the same suite. It's a husband and wife team. The husband is a chiropractor and the wife is a podiatrist. They have been there for a couple of years. They have the same staff, same office, same location, and same posted office hours. Availability is the only thing I dislike. They do a different technique of chiropractic care which wasn't working for my problems, but that's me. It's not them. They are very professional. They are very proactive. They are fun to talk to. They are good people. They have the latest gizmos and everything else that will take care of you. It just wasn't working for my type of problem. The staff and the office are very good. If I give Dr. Cook a call, he will make himself available for me. He will change his schedule and tell me to come on in. In the past he has even come on his off hours or his off days to the office to help take care of me. He will do that. I can't say he will do that for everybody. He probably will. They are all proactive. He is the only doctor in the place. He is proactive and he is very knowledgeable. He does a nice blend of eastern and western medicine. He actually left another practice and I had followed him from that practice. I have been pretty pleased with him. He genuinely cares about his patients. The only issue is that the technique was not working for my back problems.

    Back to Action Chiropractic
She is friendly and I'm comfortable with her. She seems to know what she's doing. She has her own practice. She's confident. I trust her, and it's hard to trust somebody when they are cracking your neck. If you need her in an emergency, she's usually available 24 hours a day. My insurance caused problems with the billing; I'm not sure if that's her fault or not.
