Joe came and gave me am estimate and I had a family member in spfld who is in the trade look at the proposal. He thought the price was a little steep till he found out this is a company and not a side job business!! He checked the reviews on Angie's list and told me to get Joe's side on a bad review ( 1 of over 30). The night Joe came to have me sign the contract started out fairly well. Till I ran out to the garage to get something to show him. I tripped and broke my left foot and sprained my right ankle!! Joe heard me calling him and came to my rescue. He tried to help me hop into the house but that wasn't working. I had crutches in the attic and he climbed on my car to pull the stairs halfway down to be able to scramble into the attic to reach the crutches!! As soon as we entered to house he made me give him my daughter ph #. He was afraid I would pass out. He offered to take me to the ER but I told him I'd call someone. He insisted I call someone to take me to the ER before he left!! If you ever need someone to help out and keep a level head during an emergency Joe is who you want!!
. The original contract was $8000.00. To install new tile floor in dining room, kitchen. Install new countertops in kitchen add backsplash, install dishwasher and oven vent. . Remove tub surround in bathroom, install tile ceilings on floor and tub and tile 4ft up on walls, new vanity top, lighting n fan. After Joe started on main job and I was thrilled with his work I added 12 interior doors with new casing' 2 exterior doors' new baseboards, window trim and three bedrooms of laminate flooring to the job.
Everyday I was adding onto the list!! I decided to go with over stove microwave which turned into more then we thought. Kitchen cabinets had to be rearranged and old microwave shelf cut to fit. Then new wiring had to be run to handle the amps the microwave required. They were little and MAJOR problems from day one!! If something didn't seem right to me I'd ask Joe about it and we would solve the question together! Like the microwave not fitting and a 45 min job turning into a 4 hr job to install it then having to rewire it!! Joe is easy to work with when something like this comes up. He even listened to my ideas and agreed with them!! This is unusual since I'm a widow!! I come from a family that are mostly involved in some type of construction trade. I've helped build homes from start to finish and know how to do most electrical work. I received three bids on this job and Joe was the only one who made me feel that he would listen to me! I think he enjoyed the fact I understand that things come up and the price of job might be have to be reviewed. Everyday we would go thru list of what would be done the next day and I would make a list of what was needed ( remember I was adding on so new materials had to be ordered!) I would go pay for items and Joe would pick them up on his way to my house every morning.
Joe said that when the this job was done it would be an A rating, I told him I wouldn't accept A work I wanted A +!!!! I received A+!!

    Precise Repair & Remodel
I asked Scott to install a new storm door on the front of my house.  There was not a storm door there before.  He came over and had a look, and at first, it looked like the frame might be concrete, so that the door couldn't be installed.   We discussed it, and Scott looked at it again, by removing some of the aluminum edge and we found out that the frame was wood, and we could install the door!    I said I was going to buy a door at Menards, and Scott asked if I was able to pick it up, or he could.    I don't have a truck, so I really appreciated that he could pick up the door and do the work while I was not home.   He ran into a little glitch, but was up front about it and we discussed the options, and Scott made it right - it was no big deal - we had to use a different latch cover on the door.
Scott was professional, friendly, and definitely knew what we was doing.  I would trust him to do more work around my house!
