Cleaned and pressed shirts

Service was prompt and everything was excellently done. I really like the reusable bag for service, it let's me know being "green" is more than just as it relates to the cleaning process. Friendly service is also a big plus to me!

I went there in December.

They're a wet cleaner. You have 3 options. They have a dryer that is a controlled humidity dryer. Some garments shrink when you wash them, but, relax when you put them in the dryer. They don't have a high turn around and they're expensive. They are better than the alternative. If I would talk to someone who wants to go there, I would caution them about the specific issues. We don't have a lot of dry cleaning, but we go there regularly. They could be a lot better, it's $15 for a men's blazer, I've not had any bad experiences, and I would go there in the future.

Non-chemically drycleaned 2 sofa throws.

When I first went in, the guy called them both as blankets even though one of them was very small and thin (no where near the size of a blanket). His disinterest sort of put me off a bit, but I was there because I really want non-toxic cleaning. The place is kind of a mess. However...when I went to pick the items up, a different guy (owner?) was very responsive, adjusted the price according to the actual size of the item, and was very accomodating and friendly. I would give all A's except for the first guys attitude and the general messiness of the place. (The first guy was a C or D, the 2nd guy was an A). I would like to give all A's because I want to support non-toxic cleaning and I did leave as a satisfied customer and the job they did was great, but the B's are a way of saying that they could clean up their image a little bit. I will definitely go back there again, because of the quality of the work and the eco-friendly way of dry-cleaning.

The is a ecologically based cleaning system and I was surprised that the results were at least as good as older dry cleaning systems. Prices are slightly higher than I am used to, but that did not put me off. They have a savings club you can enroll in that rebates $5.00 per $100 spent. There is a pickup and delivery service, but I have not tried that yet. Overall, a good choice.

No problems. Everything was as advertised. The only thing I wish they had was a one service which apparently does not exist.

Dry cleaning of men and women's clothes. Laundry service for shirts (men). Processes used by this company to clean clothes and linens are suppose to be both environmentally and human friendly (non-toxic and non-carcinogenic).

I've been going to the Edgewater Greener Cleaner for over a year and have consistently received reliable and prompt service. Unlike other dry cleaners I have used in the past, Greener Cleaner has not lost or damaged any of my dry cleaning items. They follow requests such as no creases for casual pants or jeans, and no starch for laundered (non-dry cleaned) shirts. Their website generally offers coupons for different services or specials. Free parking at the Edgewater location is a plus.

They clean all my "dry clean only" clothing, without cleaning. They cleaned a vintage cashmere beaded sweater and it came out perfect.

They use a European, environmentally friendly steam clean process. It works better than dry cleaning, leaves no smell and does it all without chemicals. The price is comparable to regular dry cleaners and they have a tailor on site that can do repairs.

They use a water based process that is more environmentally friendly. I am all in favor of that. However the service at their Broadway store has declined markedly. (I had used them since they opened.) They have ruined the last two things I have brought them.

First a pair of wool pants, worn once. They were returned with a full three inches of lining hanging down from the cuffs. Three return trips and they managed to steam them out so that they are only one inch shorter than when I purchased them, but not wearable. Next, a wool blanket. They gave it back to me 12 inches shorter on one side and 8 inches shorter on the other. Too short to even use on a twin bed. (I gave them a queen sized blanket.) Then, they blamed me for being "always dissatisfied." Yeah, when I pay money for you to ruin expensive items, I will be a tad dissatisfied.

The Greener Cleaner is the only dry cleaner I use. I don't have to worry about carcinogenic chemicals like PERC when they clean my clothes since they use an environmentally-friendly "wet" cleaning process.

I often drop off my clothes in the dry cleaning bag they give each customer, but they also pick up and deliver within one week which is a very helpful service.

The Greener Cleaner has a special, environmentally safe cleaning process that uses water instead of the chemicals typically used by dry cleaners. I have used them regularly - every few weeks - for the past 5 years.

They do an excellent job of cleaning. I am amazed at how good the results are, and as a bonus the clothes don't have that nasty chemical smell afterwards. Plus, they pick up and deliver twice per week at no extra charge. And they are very friendly and helpful.
