AD&D Landscape & Sprinkler ServicesAs a new homeowner that has never had a sprinkler system, my neighbor reminded us that we should get it winterized right away. I reached out to 4 companies and two of them said they are not taking on new clients, 1 that didn’t get back to me until the 2 days later, and then there was D&D. AB.P. Lawn Sprinklers Inc.Baltazar spent almost 3 hours working on our sprinkler system. He moved 5 rotating nozzles that were located too close to the sidewalk/driveway. He replaced a valve for one watering zone and upgraded two nozzles to improve watering coverage. He located our ‘missing’ control box which we knew existed but could never find because it was buried under 2 inches of dirt in the front landscaping! We also had the backflow preventer certification scheduled by him with a plumber he works with. . . and the guy came the following day! Baltazar even provided us with hints and tips on maintaining our system. We also hired him last year to repair a leak. Highly recommend him!- Deb S.

AGreen BladezWonderful response time and excellent, quality work! Re-edged beds to give them new life, trimmed shrubs, reclaimed edges of property on tree-line and removed some dead, broken branches. Will have seasonal fertilization and some areas seeded in fall. Very happy with results and lawn looks amazing. Getting a claim to reroute our buried downspouts in the spring to deal with excess water in one portion of our yard.- Yvette T.

After the installation American National Sprinkler turned our system on in the spring, drained & shut down in the fall, and serviced our system for 30 years. Pricing was always fair. I never felt like they were trying to overcharge. Their service employees were always professional, courteous, and prompt. Customer service was the same and helpful. Our lawn always looked GREAT. ANewman Irrigation & Plumbing IncWe had Greg out to take a look and give us an estimate. When he did so we let him know that we had some water pressure issues in our house and were concerned that the system would make them worse. He looked at our pipes and tested the pressure and said it should not be a problem. He suggested we have the city water dept check. I called them and they said pressure problems in the house were our problem and suggested we call a plumber. We called one, who came out and said that our main water pipe was too small and he could replace it for $20,000!!!!! Called Greg back to say that we were not going to do the system since we were still concerned. He made us this offer: he would come out and install all the interior piping and then set up a couple of test zones to prove that the pressure was good. He was 100% confident. If we were not happy, he would not charge us a dime. Too good to pass up, we said ok. He came out and spent 4 hours installing the interior pipes. He then set up a couple of test pipes and turned them on and they worked great. We tried the water inside the house and it too was still good. So we gave him the go ahead. His team showed up and spent about 16 hours over two days installing 7 zones and about 35 heads. He showed us how to program the box so that the zones went on at different times and days. There is also a rain gauge which overrides the system when the ground is wet. Of course, it rained hard that night! But the system is operating beautifully and we are very pleased.- WENDY R.

DShort story: Foreman accused me of lying about something they broke and this project is still unfinished nearly five weeks after work begun. The project involved leveling the patio, which had sunk, and reconstructing a retaining wall, which had also settled. In order to fix the patio, Diaz had to move our hot tub. First, the retaining wall was not done correctly—their rebuild was shorter in height than the wall on the other side of the patio stairs. After this was pointed out to the foreman, they sent a crew over a few days later to even out the retaining wall, which looks good now. However, they still have not returned (four weeks later) to clean up the mortar and other stuff which is splattered all over the patio bricks. The other issue was that they damaged our hot tub when they moved it. When they came out to repair it at first, the foreman accused me of lying about the hot tub being broken. I told him that I did not appreciate being accused of dishonesty. They attempted a repair, which failed. They told me they needed to order a part. That apparently took 3 weeks. The part was installed and the repair failed. We then had another wait while they figured out that they needed to hire a professional to do the work. After a few more days, the hot tub was repaired and now works correctly. However, their contractor left trash all over the place. We are still waiting for the crew to return to finish cleanup, over five weeks after the job was begun. The only good thing has been the communication—their representative has consistently been responsive and apologetic for the issues, but this doesn't change the fact that the workmanship has been poor and the job has taken far too long to finish.

AWorking with Tino and his crew was a very positive experience. An old rotted-out wooden deck was demoed (by others) and Tino and his crew prep'd the land/area and did a wonderful job installing a paver patio with a path from an upper deck's stair landing. Working with Tino was wonderful because I never felt any pressure in making decisions. Also, Tino does a great job in explaining his recommendations and outlines the required work. The execution of the work was top notch. These guys do a great job in owning the work they perform and want to make sure that the customer is 100% satisfied!

She has installed and maintained the floral arrangements at my business for over 16 years. Anne Roberts designs have been instrumental in the success of my food and beverage business in downtown Chicago. I have had people in Wisconsin call me asking who was arranging our flowers and whether they would travel to Wisconsin to do their flowers. Exceptional company who is easy to work with and is very fairly priced for the extremely high quality work that they do.
