    Scott came out and assessed the problem with my older Carrier furnace. I called in the morning and he arrived within a couple of hours. Due to the age of the furnace and the problem I had -- (furnace cycling, turned off and turned back on within a few moments), it could be one of two things; the main chamber limit, or the central board. Scott tried the simplest first (chamber limit) and it worked for only a short time before the problem resurfaced later that afternoon. He returned the next day and installed the central board. This corrected the problem and my furnace has been running well ever since. I appreciated Scott's honesty in troubleshooting the problem and in his quick response.

    Our A/C unit went out around July 3 and we were going on vacation anyway so we decided to leave it for when we came back. We came home on July 6th and called RJS while we were still driving home from our trip at about 4:00pm and he agreed to meet us at our house in 30 min! He was punctual, knew what the issue was right away - explained it in detail to us - fixed our unit and answered all of our questions! We are so impressed with how fast he came out to us and how fast he fixed our unit AND he didn't try to up-sell us on replacing the whole unit just yet (even though its very very old). We are very appreciative of the great service - when it does come time to replace the unit we will be calling RJS!

    I had another company come out for annual AC check for my 2 AC units & to get a quote to replace the furnace & AC for one zone. I had replaced the furnace & AC in 1 zone a couple years earlier but the furnace & AC in the other zone have been running rough for a couple years. The filter system was not working & the AC was not cooling properly. After the guy from this other company looked at the system & gave me the quote, he left & the AC was no longer working. It wouldn���t even turn on. After a few days of high temps & that company not returning my calls, I finally called Borter to set up an appt to get a quote. Steve, the owner, came out a couple days later. He inspected the system, answered my questions & prepared a quote. I had already done my research so & I signed the proposal on the spot & booked the job for 2 weeks out. That same day Steve sent out a tech to try to repair my AC for the interim. The tech spent 2+ hours & managed a makeshift repair to carry me through! Finally a company that provides service & not just sales & installation! They also pulled the permit for the job & filled out & submitted all rebates. The techs that removed the old & installed the new equipment were prompt, polite & hard working. The work took 2 days. They discovered inadequate support for the equipment in the attic & spent unplanned time & materials reinforcing a platform at no additional cost. It���s been about 5 weeks & all is going well. I already made my fall appt for my annual furnace tune up & will be joining their maintenance plan.

    They did the tuneup on December 14, 2017 and our furnace failed in February or March (We were out of town for 2 months so we don't know when it failed.) The new company that came to repair it said that the drain box had not been properly cleaned out and so the inducer motor burned out and we had to replace it for a cost of $700. I called Lifeline Plumbing about it and they said that there was nothing that they could do about it, since we didn't call him back first about the problem. This is the second time we have used them, and I notice that there was a minor issue the first time that they came as well, so we do not plan to use their services again.

    Wonderful Well groomed you man arrived on time to install the Aprilaire humidifier. Pleasant fellow to chat with about his work while installing the humidifier. Did not like being subjected to upsell for service contract, but that is not figured into the questions responded to above.

    Sal was a very nice guy and explained everything he was looking at and doing in detail, this w as during a very cold spell and we weren't able to heat the house efficiently much higher than 60 degrees F, They came out right away and was on time and i spent way less money than i anticipated, definitely would hire them again and highly recommend them. Sal was our technician and he was outstanding!

    Purchased an Angie's list deal for humidifier installation of a humidifier. In the add it states that all plumbing, electrical and ducting is included. When I scheduled the install all of the sudden there is a $65.00 up charge for a valve they need to install to make it up to code. If they installed it the way it was advertised it wouldn't meet code. They would be happy to install it out of code.To me any company that would advertise work that does not meet code and offers to do work that does not meet code is terrible. Obvious bait and switch tactic to drive up the price. DO THE WORK YOU PROMISED IN YOUR AD!! Very Disappointed.

    It was good actually, I had a good experience. No complaints, I think it was pretty much gratifying. They cleaned when they left the place, but I felt that the room was not cooling off enough. Then I changed the filter and after that the room still was not getting cool. I told them the room was still warm and after that I did not follow up with them and they also did not follow up with me.

    Outstanding HVAC company. I was having trouble with my AC not working and my system was already 25 years old. I called 3 different companies for quotes and Tom from Climate Control was the first to call within 30 minutes of my request. Tom was able to come out the same evening and reviewed our needs. He was very professional and knowledgeable and helped us understand the different systems and how they worked. After spending over an hour with us answering various questions and determining our needs, he measured the rooms and even windows to ensure we had the right size AC (3 1/2 ton unit) and furnace. He even emailed us a proposal before the end of the night. We were so impressed by his professionalism and knowledge of the system that we canceled our other quotes. We were able to negotiate a great price and went with the high efficiency system. His crew was out the following Wed at 8:00am and did an outstanding job. Dan and Greg were very professional and careful when removing the old system and installing the new one. They estimated it would take them 8 hours to complete the work and were done in 7. I cant speak highly enough about the great job they did. Tom was on site before the guys were done and took the time to review the new thermostat and all its features with me until I was comfortable with it. We cant believe the difference in the cooling of the house, rather than having to keep the temperature set for 70, we are now able to keep it at 75 and feel much more comfortable. Now the house is cooled evenly, the upstairs rooms are now the same temperature as the downstairs area. When the Village inspector came out to review the work, he commented on what a nice job the installers did. The duct work was neat and well sealed. He said he didn't see a lot of jobs done as well as this was. Again, Climate Control is the company to use. Extremely knowledgeable about all systems, fantastic work and great employees.
