AEnvy Home Services, Inc.From the start, Envy was the best contractor we've ever worked with. For our sunroom and steps, they dealt with the permitting, the demo of the hideous old mudroom, and every aspect of the build. There were no "surprise" charges and the entire crew from design to delivery had top notch attention to detail. Unique to 2020 (we hope), they handled the pandemic-related delays with aplomb and kept us abreast of the shipping delays. They were also patient with our custom materials' delay. The workers were conscientious and careful not to damage the plants in the yard. The clean up of the space was great. The final product is... like a dream. It is the space to which we retreat to relax and surpasses our expectations. We got the wooden wall against the house which was a solid decision. One regret: we should have gotten windows where we had panels installed between the top of the main windows and the ceiling... more light is better even when the room is 270 degrees of windows. To his credit, Adam said this when we did the design, but we second-guessed him.- Sarah B.

AHogan Design & ConstructionWe contacted Hogan after seeing their name pop on several Facebook recommendation posts. We liked the idea of having a one stop shop for all our design and contracting needs. We were interested in adding on an in-law addition and were very overwhelmed on where to start. After contacting them through their website, we had connected within a few days and set an appointment up about a week and a half out. Before the visit, they requested us to fill out a questionnaire so they had a good idea of what we were visualizing, our budget, and things we valued. Brad showed up on time for our appointment and listened respectfully to our thoughts. He was friendly, informative, and helped educate us on his reasonings/suggestions. As a couple who has never done something like this before, we really respected his advice and time. He also shared with us how their process works and even gave us a "start" on what things could cost. This helped us put everything in perspective right away and gave us the opportunity to ask more questions. Eventually, my husband and I decided not to move forward with the project as we are unsure if our current house will be our forever house. Site drawing detailed how the finished room addition and sun porch would look after the job was completed. Wife and I were completely satisfied with the finished job. Ready for summer 2021 with or without COVID... Construction crew (Framers) did a fantastic job. Always arrived on time and job was completed on time. AARROWHEAD BRICK PAVERSI could not be happier with this project. I dealt directly with the owner Mark, and he was tremendously responsive during the entire process. I usually expect a reply within 24 hours, and Mark was much quicker than that. Since I had been burned by the previous contractor, I was a high maintenance client, but Mark never made me feel like one. He patiently explained my options, explained the construction methods, and provided several different options. When the work started, I couldn't believe the difference in the quality and attention to detail. For example, where my previous contractor failed to dig the posts beneath the frost line, and then used a substandard amount of concreted, Arrowhead dug footings a full 48" deep and poured a substantial footing so the posts could be fastened using industry standard Simpson ties. The pavilion itself is beautiful. As I watched the construction I was impressed with the carpenters constantly checking for squareness, and the tightness of the construction. The lead carpenter was also very approachable, and spend some time with me talking about options. In fact, I made a change to what I wanted as far as electrical was concerned, and I was accommodated without question. Finally, as an example of what kind of contractor Arrowhead is, I mistakenly got the pavers wet before the sealer dried. Though it was my fault, Mark made sure it was fixed. His crew also fixed my patio stairs without being asked, and without charge. I highly recommend this company.- Charles H.
