    Hoffman Estates Kitchenaid Repair
    They took my information and wanted a credit card to put on file, and I was kind of nervous to give them my card number but I did. I scheduled an appointment between 5 and 7pm on Friday. It was 6:35 and no one had given me a call yet, so I called them to see when they were coming or for an estimate. I called them and left a message. Then I waited until 7:40 and called them back as a new client and someone picked the phone right up. I told the man who answered the phone no one had called to say if they were on their way to my home. One of the technicians called me and stated he was to busy on a Friday to come and complete services, and asked if he could come Saturday so i agreed. After I sat and thought about it for a minute I decided to call and cancel the services due to the company not following through with what they were supposed to do.

    Great Services & Repair Appliances

    Great service.  My refrigerator was fixed the same day I called.  Turned out the circuit board that controlled the defrost mechanism was shot.  They had a replacement part on hand so I didn?t have to wait for the part to be ordered.    They defrosted the freezer and made sure everything worked before leaving. They did a great job of explaining how everything worked and what went wrong.   Also waited a week to call me and see if everything was still working before they cashed the check.

    Young's Appliances
          I was very impressed with Young's Appliances service and customer care.  The service tech, Ray, was very personable and worked with me to discuss all my options. One option was to have the sealed system serviced, which Young's does not do. Another option was to remove the already installed new part and refund my money. Final option was to buy a new refrigerator.  There was NO pressure to purchase one at Young's.    The initial service visit and subsequent visits to resolve the problem all happened within 10 days. I decided to replace my refrigerator.  I did go to the Young's showroom and worked with Doug there.  He took time with me and I appreciated his explanations about the various brands/features of refrigerators.  Unfortunately, I decided to purchase a refrigerator elsewhere (I had my "price point" ).  Everyone at Young's was pleasant and courteous.  I received my refunded money in a timely manner.  Young's will be my appliance repair provider for any future service. Working with them was quite a refreshing experience!

    Tim came out first, to check on a breaker problem. He determined cause of problem by checking dishwasher operation and outdoor outlet. He replaced the outlet with updated covered type. We had him come back for more work we wanted done. He encountered problem when replacing bathroom light fixture because the old one held up a mirror. He came up with an innovative solution to keep mirror in place. He encountered a problem with the front porch light pipe around wiring, but corrected it to accommodate new fixture. Tim was polite, skilled and professional. He explained what was being done. Very pleased with Tim and Company.

    It was fantastic service from Eddie.  Although he took a little longer to arrive than that half-hour that the advisory call mentioned, it was no big deal.  Once here, Eddie got right to work and was an absolute professional.  He didn't even blink when he removed the back panel and found some after-market alterations that the previous home-owner had done, and we weren't even aware of (wish that was the first time we had heard that).  When it was all said an done, Eddie had replaced the part, cleaned our coils despite our years of neglect, and then turned around and refunded us the labor cost, so we only had to pay for the replacement part.  He was in and out in the better part of an hour.  We took some of his suggestions to get some cheap thermometers to monitor the fridge and freezer temps and will clean the coils more regularly.  We were more than happy with Eddie's work and price, and would completely use his services again.

    I had spoke with 2 other companies and neither was able to service Bosch as they didn't work on that brand. Upon speaking with S&S Appliance I was informed that it would not be a problem to repair my dishwasher. The repair man was friendly and even tolerated my curious 14 month old.

    He was articulate, on time and had very good communication skills. The job was analyzed quickly and he had the parts needed for the repair. He made out and collected the bill while at the house. He was prompt to come out for the repair. Just a side note. Since moving to peoria from Chicago, we've had many repairmen come out for one reason. Most have been terrible. This young many was great. We can highly recommend him.

    KEEP EM RUNNING
    Our 7 year old Maytag stove oven stopped working. It was an ignitor switch and he suspected that was the problem before even seeing it. He really knows appliances and most likely cause of problems. We needed someone to come to our home when we got home from work and he had schedule flexability to accomodate us. I really appreciate not having to loose pay from my job in order to be home for an entire afternoon 12 to 4 as some other A rated providers in my area require. I was not so satisfied with a previous A rated provider in my area so that is why I switched to a new appliance repair place. Everything went perfect and we will stay with this company for all appliance repairs.
