    North Shore Insulation Co. Inc
It went very well. Bob was very professional and thorough. He explained things very well when he came out for the estimate. He followed through on his estimate when the work was done. He was very careful as he was doing the work and cleaned up thoroughly after the job was done.

    DESIGNfirst Builders LLC
They are excellent. Neighbors comment how nice the house turned out and it's great for our family of 6. They have worked on our past two houses so we are a repeat customer. Would recommend them to anyone to use.

    Weather Shield Insulators
i called the weather shield insulators to inspect my attic insulation and roof line , Gus came to my house and inspected my attic and found out that the insulation level was low and that the roof line had mold he'd did mold remediation first and makes sure that the attic was vented properly and than added the insulation to the proper level.

the job was done very professional We couldn't have been more pleased. i notice my electrical bill drop.
looking forward to save more money on my utility bills
ill be happy to recommend them

    ShelfGenie of Chicago
It was good when we finally got it installed. What I disliked about it was the installation, they only had two people installing. When it did come in, it took quite a while for them to install because they only have two people and it doesn't look like they work past five. We bought the big deal. The ShelfGenie itself, all of that looks gorgeous. The guy who installed it was nice but I think they need to have more installers that has more flexible hours. Now, I have my cabinets in and have thought about possibly getting another coupon from Angie's List if I can do that and use them again. They are pricey.

When we called about a service call, they
were prompt to schedule a service call.   The person whom came to our
house was professional and quick.   One of the selling points was a 'life
time warranty' on the attic fan.

They arrive early for the service appointment.  They
worked with my wife.    They were done with their work in a bought an
hour.   They wrapped up with my wife.

When I looked for the paper work on 7/23,
there was virtually none.   One of them had signed 'complete' on the
original order.    There was no details about the warranty.
Without these details, we could not submit a claim for warranty if the
attic fan failed.   So, I went to my garage, where they had left a attic
fan box, filled with garbage.   I dug into the box to find the warranty,
which should have been handed to us when they closed the server work out.
In addition, part of the roof that they cut off to extend the bathroom
vent fell into my deck.  They didn't
    bother to clean it up.

At the time, I had called Corey and left
    message.   Corey eventually followed up
(8/23) based on my original review from Angie?s list.   I
appreciate him taking the time to come out and explain the situation.    In addition, I also appreciated how they
validated that they installed the correct product as well as made me feel
better for the quality of the work.     He also explained that he had let go the
person responsible for the lack of clean up and poor communication.

In summary, I appreciate the follow
up.    There was a bad taste in our mouth
    since the installation was completed.
    Corey helped resolve those concerns.
With that being said, it would be hard to rate to objectively rate our
experience as good or great based on the execution on the original installation

    Thermalcraft Inc
Overall the job is very professional, and the whole team was cooperative. We talked about the window frame cost, and that was time and material as the amount of damage was not known until removing the frames. Nine windows were serviced, and all had the need for replacement of sill, and then shimming and insulating. The sliders are working better than when new. The job was clean, and although rain delayed from seven day estimate to 13 days overall, the crew stayed in contact, and several times just waited in the vans for clear weather. In the end, we were very pleased, and had trouble finding any suggestions how the crew could improve. They could have swept the drive better, because I found two small trim nails that were the color of cement, and that could have been a flat tire. My advice, sweep the area before driving on it, no matter who does your work. A few minutes could save a big hassle later. I would recommend Thermalcraft, and if we had any exterior work, would call them again.

Things went GREAT ! -  from the time Zach came for the estimate and explained what was to be done,  the scheduling and then to the day of service.   Everyone showed up on time, worked diligently to get everything done and did a great job cleaning up after themselves.   I noticed a difference in the comfort in the house from the moment they left.  probably some of the best money i have ever sent.    Also should mention that the office (Carol)  is great to work with too,   during scheduling, they worked with my time available, were very communicative with reminders and when it came time to do the service, i received more reminders and was also  informed of who was showing up,  when to expect and what to expect..  Even paying was made simple.   Great company !  Great Job !!   thanks to all involved.

    Nyberg Exteriors
Everything went very well.  The house was not compromised from the storm so schedule to have the work done was not a problem.  All concerns that we had were addressed.  The roof was done first while it still had a chance to seal from the heat of the sun.  Several weeks later the siding was done.  Each time we had a question, we emailed Andy and got a very quick response.
The workmen were very good about cleaning up after themselves and with the exception of picking up about a 1/2 cup of nails/screws, there was nothing we had to do after they were finished.
The job consisted of taking off the existing roof while taking care of the lightning rods and wiring that ran around the house, replacing it with new shingles and vents and installing 2 new vents so that the bathrooms could be vented out the roof instead of just running the vent pipe across the attic and having the end point toward a soffit vent.  This had been a problem previously so we wanted to get it fixed while they were tearing the roof apart.  One place on the east side of the roof looked like the shingles were bent up a little and not laying flat but when we contacted Andy, he assured us that would flatten and they'd check it when they came back for the siding and rectify any problem.  It does appear less obvious now so we think that is happening.
The siding was all taken off and a 1/4 inch of insulation was placed under the new siding.   Since that raised the thickness of the wall past the trim boards, they put additional plywood on all of the trim areas in order to maintain the appropriate reveal.  Then new vinyl siding was installed.  In order to get to all of the siding, a large shed had to be moved.  It was sandwiched in on the back and right side with less than a foot clearance between the sides of the shed and the house.  On the left side was the air conditioning compressor with less than 3 inches distance between the compressor hoses and the shed.  We discussed during the estimate about how that would be done and Andy and Arthur were certain they could move the shed and replace it.  We (homeowner) ultimately decided to spend the money to move the compressor over about 4 feet rather than risk a problem.  Nyberg did move the shed and put it back where it belonged with no problem.
Aluminum was applied to all of the trim, new fascia and soffits were put on so that no painting would be needed going forward.  There was one hiccup.  When they completed the fascia and soffit on the three peaks at the front of the house, they left the 3 corbels  (decorative scrolls made of wood).  We had discussed these things specifically and they were supposed to be removed and aluminum would cover the place where they had been.  We definitely didn't want these 3 painted (wrong color for current siding as well) items left to be maintained.  When we contacted Arthur he came out to the house to discuss and agreed to bring the team back for a half day to correct.  That was done and it looks great!
Part of the cost was borne by the insurance company but about 20% was the homeowner's upgrades and responsibility.  Nyberg knew exactly what the insurance company needed and provided a good estimate that was approved immediately.
Mistakes can happen but the mark of a superior company is the effort and ability to fix any problems.  Nyberg did a great job on the house.  It looks fantastic.  The one problem that we had was promptly fixed and that is the most anyone could ask.  We'll definitely be calling on them again when another home in our family needs their skills.

We are absolutely thrilled with the results of RevFoam's work!!

Prior to having this work done there was at least a 10 -15 degree difference with the bedroom above the garage.  Now this bedroom is as comfortable as the rest of the house.  The bedroom floor is no longer too cold to walk on.

The foam also reduced the noise of the garage door opening and closing.

    Great work!

    American Attic Reinsulation Co
From the time of the initial meeting with John through installation, AARCO was strait forward, honest and knows how to keep your home energy efficient.  Their price was fair, sales process was educational not pressured to sign and installation was on time, as expected and efficient.  I have a second floor townhome and they figured out the best way to bring the insulation into the attic.
They were so quiet I had no problem working at home during the installation and my neighbors were not bothered.  AARCO is  Fair, Honest and they do what they say while educating you in the process.  They are experts that I recommend and have no problem using again.
