    MJG Home Inspections P.C.
Outstanding. They say you get what you pay for and with Mike and MJG that couldn't be farther from the truth in a very good way. While I thought the price was a little higher than I remembered in the past, I'd pay it again given the detail and thoroughness Mike provided us. Being this has been my 3rd inspection since I've owned homes, I have seen varieties, but won't look anywhere else if I need to do it again in the future. MJG was awesome - explaining everything at the house, using advanced imaging for behind the scenes issues, and following up via email w/ answer to additional questions. I highly recommend MJG!!

BRT Home Inspections & Radon Testing
Shout out to Dave on doing an outstanding job on my inspections. Very detailed, took his time and explained everything thoroughly. I used Dave for my first condo inspection and ended up not going with that condo. Found my second condo and no hesitation on calling Dave back for my 2nd inspection.

    Insight Property Services, Inc.
They completed a very thorough inspection of a home my husband and I were intending to purchase. With short notice, Joe was able to schedule a convenient date and time. He inspected every square inch of the house. Our inspection report was 48 pages long, which will be used to negotiate a fair price for the home as well as a checklist for future projects.

    MJG Home Inspections P.C.
MJG completed a comprehensive inspection of the property and provided a detailed report of their findings. We were looking to buy a 100+ year old home and not only did MJG find potential problems, but they helped point out some of the history of the structure and gave us tips on how to care for it.

    Prospective Home Inspections
We had a great experience with Prospective Home Inspections! Jeff was better than on time, he was early, getting a jump start on the outside portion of our home inspection. He was very knowledgeable and was eager to share that knowledge with us both during and after the home inspection. His report was very thorough, detailed, and included great pictures to help us see what he was referencing. We would highly recommend using Prospective Home Inspections!

    Doyle Home Inspections
We had our inspection mid-April with Steve Doyle. From the start, Steve was amazing! It was easy to schedule with him, he was prompt in responding to my questions, and extremely professional. The day of the inspection, we arrived and found that Steve was already on the roof. He invited my husband up there to show him the areas of concern. Steve knew how nervous we were about possibly needing a new roof right away, so he made sure the inspection was very thorough. We entered the home and Steve inspected it inch by inch. This man misses nothing! He was able to tell us what renovations had been done to the home, and how good those renovations were. My dad is a carpenter and he tagged along with Steve during the inspection. My dad was so impressed with the pride Steve takes in his work. As he went, Steve would point out areas of concern, and the approximate cost to repair. Since I didn't tag along during the walk through, Steve gave me a verbal report at the end of the inspection of the big issues he had encountered. By the end of the night, he emailed us a copy of the report. The report he puts together must take hours to make because of the amount of detail he goes into. There's pictures as well as descriptions of areas of concern, and what his recommendations are. He categorizes each issue as safety, repair, major concern etc.. This helped us because we're able to prioritize the repairs the house needs. I forwarded the inspection to my realtor and my attorney. They were both so impressed with the amount of detail in the report. I don't think I could ever really express how happy I am with the service we received from Steve and from Doyle Inspections. Every time someone asks me if I know of a good inspector, I'll make sure I recommend Steve, it's the least I can do!

    Ray's Household Services
He consulted what kind of doors to buy. He went above and beyond the service because he found some structural problems too. There were issues underneath the doors. The other thing I loved about him, he was a home inspector so he's very knowledgeable about a house and what needed to be fixed. Excellent work by an outstanding professional. I couldn't be more pleased. He is our highest recommendation.

Smart Choice Home Inspections & Radon Detection
Eric came out to the house on time and was very courteous.  I walked with him as we went from outside to inside the house pointing out issues.  After over 2 hours of reviewing, we sat down and went over everything major and the suggestions on fixing it.  He even gave me some helpful advice on renting property.
The next day I received a PDF of all the issues with the pictures, description of problem and the suggestions.
This was very helpful and I'm very happy with their service.

    MIDWEST INSPECTION SERVICES, LTD.
In preparation for selling my house in the next year or so I wanted to have it inspected now so that I would know what needed to be fixed and could do it on my timetable and avoid last minute problems that could impede a smooth closing when that time comes.
I had used Midwest Inspection Services, Ltd. about five years ago, was completely satisfied, and so turned to them again. I connected with Alan August and we arranged a convenient time for him to come over and get started. He was here for almost four hours and performed a comprehensive inspection both inside and out. He showed me what he had found and provided an
18 page written report which included digital photos for each issue that needed attention. Alan is a Licensed Illinois Home Inspector and, among other things, is knowledgeable about code requirements and noted a range of things that included: inoperative GFCI outlets, a bathroom vent fan that didn?t work, the need for clips on window well covers, electrical panel problems, loose deck railing, small areas with rotted wood on the garage door frame, etc. [Cost: $890.00]
He also set up a Radon inspection with a separate company.
As my house has EFIS (DryVit brand synthetic stucco) on the outside, I also asked Alan to check for moisture penetration on that, as a separate, full-fledged inspection specifically for that. (Alan is a Certified EFIS and Stucco Inspector and totally qualified to perform this type of inspection.)
Another day was set up and, as with the first inspection, Alan arrived on time, completed a comprehensive inspection, again with digital photos, showed me exactly what he had found, and answered all my questions. A detailed 40 page report was sent to me within a few days. [Cost: $950.00]
Speaking for both inspections, Alan was on time, always professional and pleasant to work with and delivered comprehensive inspection reports that will provide excellent direction for whomever I choose to carry out needed repairs.
I?d recommend Alan and Midwest Inspection Services to anyone in need of first rate home as well as EFIS/DryVit inspection services.
