AAAA Arborist Tree Experts10/10. Incredible quality and turnaround time. Michael from AAA Arborist came for an estimate the same day of contact and got the job done the next morning. We just moved to a new home and discovered an undisclosed squirrel next in our attic. Pest control identified the trees as the main thoroughfare of the squirrels. Michael recognized our emergency and took immediate action. There's a different tree company well reviewed in Angie's List that I wasted 2 weeks on prior and would avoid. I called Rivera 3-5 times. left VMs. Spoke w/ admin. They didn't provide me with the estimate as promised, until i followed up 1-2 times. Then when it finally came to schedule, they were a week out. I was never given an opportunity to speak with the estimator. If you're like me and looking up a tree trimmer on Angie's list, just call AAA Arborist 1st.- Michael Q.

Selvin was not the least expensive option we considered, but he charges a fair price and honors his word. Most importantly, he and his team did an exceptional job with our project. They delivered high-quality craftsmanship on every facet of the engagement. Selvin's landscape designer, Alann, was a joy to work with and listened intently to our vision for our new back yard. Watching his design come to life has been breathtaking. Selvin's foreman, Mauricio, consulted us on major decisions, communicated effectively and was courteous and friendly, as was the rest of his team. Rarely did a day of construction complete without a visit from Selvin himself (which is impressive given that our large project took multiple weeks to complete). We've hired several contractors since purchasing our home in Elmhurst, and our experience with Selvin and his team tops the list. I highly recommend him for landscaping and hardscaping. It's clear that he takes great pride in delivering quality outdoor work. I will update my review with photos of the front yard and porch in spring.- Chris J.

AAlejandre's Tree Service IncAlejandre's Tree Service is quite busy and we had to wait a couple of months for him to have time for us, but it was worth the wait. We hired him to prune two large maple trees behind our house that were blocking the sun getting to our solar panels. When he first surveyed the job to give us an estimate, he was quite professional and we were impressed that he knew exactly what he needed to do to achieve the end result we needed. We were initially concerned about heavy branches damaging the roof and solar panels during the pruning process, but he and his crew are very experienced and knew exactly what they were doing. Everything went smoothly. When the job was done, they cleaned up the entire property, including blowing off the deck, and even carried the cutoff tree limbs to the back of our property so my husband could chop them up to burn in our fireplace. From a cost perspective, they were quite reasonably priced - much better than most. I would definitely use Alejandre's Tree Service again and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone needing this type of service.- Jane S.

I typically purchase trees from an online company, but with Covid, wanted to support local business. We were doing a tremendous amount of landscaping ourselves and wanted to treat our old bones to have a professional come in and plant our investment for us. The crew was extremely polite and answered all questions. We were amazed and how fast they were! They were very careful not to upset any electric/gas lines. We had called the utility company prior to their visit. What I really like: this company only sells LOCALLY grown trees that grow in the area. Online companies have great products and will have the buyer choose products within their growing zone but they also sell invasive species.- Christianna R.

ASunnyview LandscapingSunnyview came to the property and removed a couple of trees for us and did a great job. They were very professional and did exactly what we needed them to do. They cleaned everything up after grinding out the stump’s and we had to put sod down and they did a fantastic job. They were the best price after having several other quotes and they were always friendly and nice and matter-of-fact we are going to have them come out again this coming spring to do more work for us. AWe couldn't be happier with Gabriel and the other crew member on the job. Gabriel said they would be on site at 10:30 and they were! They also went over and above what I'd expected by how they cut and laid the branches and limbs for us to get to later. It made it so much easier than had they just thrown everything in a pile. APro Tree was excellent. We watch the whole process. The team worked so well together and were pleasant to talk too. It only took two and a half hours to do a big job.
