Personal Training reviews in Arlington Heights

    Northwest Community Wellness
I have been a member for many years now, for fitness and exercise. The selection of equipment is excellent, the facilities are always exceptionally clean and well maintained. It can be busy at times, and since the facility is affiliated with Northwest Community Hospital, there are always folks present for rehab. Outstanding classes (Pilates, yoga, spin, and many others) are available at a wide range of times to fit most schedules. They offer counseling and personal training (at additional cost) as well, staffed by experienced and certified instructors. It is a membership-only facility and it is not inexpensive; however, you get what you pay for nowadays. If you're looking for a cheap workout place, this is not it; but if you're looking for the best fitness center in the Arlington Heights area, this is the one.

When it gets too cold and snowy outdoors I join the Wellness Center.  It is a real treat.  The facility and the staff make it a pleasure to go.  They have a balcony track, a basketball court, weights and machines.  There are also classes but I never took a class.  I love the hot tub and steam room after a good work out.  They also have a dry sauna.  One winter I needed the pool as my knee was bothering me.  They have two pools; a lap and a therapy pool.  The therapy pool is warmer, has underwater rails and bench, various water equipment and a deep section for running in place without touching the bottom.  The locker-room is always clean.  The front desk staff remembers my name after only a week.   Love treating myself to a few months here.

Their personal trainers are wonderful.  They work with you to design a fitness program according to your age and disabilities.  They have ever machine and type of weight that you could imagine.  They are so well-equipped.  They also have a walking track on the second level.  I took a chair yoga class, which was absolutely excellent.  There are a lot of opportunities there.
