    If you think great customer service for auto repair and maintenance is dead, it isn't. It's alive and well at Autotech in Arlington Heights. We'd been there a couple of times with a relatively new vehicle for minor maintenance jobs and had good experiences. When our other, much older vehicle exhibited serious signs of decline we checked a couple of places first to get a diagnosis. The predictions were dire. They made it sound as if we should never ever drive that car again ��� that we should walk home. Skeptics that we are, we decided to take it to Autotech. (Up until that point, it had always been serviced at a national chain repair shop.) We told Autotech only that a couple of their competitors (one was a car dealer) had given the vehicle only a short time to live.(Did I mention that it has less than 70,000 actual miles in 18 years?) Autotech asked for a couple of hours to check out the car. When we went back to check the results we were told, yes, there were things that should be fixed eventually (even a low mileage 18 year old car has things that wear out) and there were things that should be fixed now to keep the car in safe working condition. After we had a senior staff meeting, my spouse and I decided to keep the car and fix what needed to be fixed now and monitor the other things. Autotech did that work at the very fair cost they quoted and in the time frame they estimated. By the way, they also mentioned there was a rattle which they found and fixed at no cost. We had mentioned that rattle at least 5 times over the last 3 years and no one could figure it out. Autotech found it and fixed it - for free - without us even mentioning it !! That was a couple of months ago. We just had the rest of the work done and now have a ���new��� 18 year old vehicle. I can���t say enough about the way these folks do business. There are no bad surprises ��� if they find something else in need of repair while doing the work already scheduled, they call and let us know what the issue is, the pros and cons of fixing it now or waiting and give us an estimated cost. Victor and the staff are unfailingly professional. No one likes to spend on car repairs, but when those repairs are necessary, it���s more than comforting to know that Autotech is there to do the work. Autotech is a solid business. We recommend them highly and suggest you give them a try when you next need auto repairs or maintenance. They exemplify great service in every way!

    Busse Car Wash & Detail Center did a great job detailing our older model car. My daughter drove this car for 4 or 5 years, and it was not kept clean. The carpets were filthy, and the interior was not a pleasant place to be. When we picked up the car, we couldn't believe how good it looked! It looked and smelled almost brand-new! I also asked them to try to clean some tar off of the hood of the car. They were able to get most of it off, but didn't charge a fee because it wasn't perfect. I highly recommend Busse!

    This shop sucks. I go in for an oil change. I���m told can���t get me in for an 1 1/2 hours. Guys have to go to lunch. I say ok. Can I make an appt? No we don���t take appts. I say ok. I come back 1 1/2 hours later. Now he tells me workers to busy to go to lunch. Really. Didn���t know that before he wasted my time. What an idiot. It���s like that all the time. If your not there at 7:30am will just forget it. Great way to run a business. Never again with these jerks.

    They are fine but expensive. I have no way to judge quality. I just drop off my car and pick it up, I don't interact with them. My interactions are limited to paying the cashier and I don't think that's really helpful. I drop off the car at night and pick it up the next night.

    I didn't buy my car there and I was not impressed with their service department where I did and switched over. They let you make an appointment, you take the car in and they do it. If it's going to take longer they give you a loaner car. They do a nice job.

    Chuck was very helpful - found the issue was a broken brake. Got parts, fixed it along with a few other issues. Reasonable price - timely. Very happy with the work, will bring the old rod back for more when needed.

    Initially, it was great. I would give them an A or an A+ but afterwards, it became probably a D. The owner made it right and made it back. They were really nice. They did a great job but then they messed up my car. They wanted me to pay for it but the owner finally made it right and paid for all the parts and stuff. I think the price was fair. They messed up but they fixed it. Their responsiveness when they realized that they had messed things up was good but when it came to finding out it wasn't covered under warranty, it wasn't so good. I might go back there but they made such a quite aggravating and a hard decision for them to finally say that. They said upfront that they knew they had done something to the car. When Kia said it wasn't covered under warranty, then they started saying that I had to pay for it.
