Do not take your dogs here. I was a customer for 7 years and spent $14,000+ during that time. It was always hard to know exactly what went on when my dogs were there, but they seemed happy to go so I was ok with it. But the continual, frequent staff turnover has always troubled me. Lately I have discovered that people who have worked or volunteered there will have nothing to do with the BRK or the owner. I have also heard that there have been fights between dogs. If you do take your dogs there, be prepared that if anything bad happens the owner will 1) find a way to make it your fault, 2) ignore the situation, or 3) try to cheat you. I was bitten by a 130+ lbs. English Mastiff in the lobby, completely unprovoked by me. I needed stitches. I waited a few days to hear from the BRK owner. I wanted her to reassure me that my 13 & 18 lbs. dogs would be safe at her facility; one bite to the neck from that big dog could kill them. (I also wouldn't have minded if she had just picked up the phone to ask, "Are you ok?") I didn't hear from her so I finally emailed her and asked for a refund of unused portion of the prepaid package I had bought. I asked 3-4 times and after almost a month she mailed me a check with a letter that justified why she wasn't providing a full refund. I had already been getting worried about my dogs' safety, with the stories I was starting to hear about BRK. This incident confirmed that I needed to stop taking them there. But to be totally honest, I wasn't going to write a negative review until the owner treated me so shabbily. After the way she responded to this incident, I feel compelled to warn people.

They provide great service.  They post videos and pictures of the dogs that day on their Facebook website.  So they are a pretty responsible group of individuals.  So we really enjoy them.  They charge a couple of hundred dollars for a week when we’re on vacation.  Their daily service for a day is probably between $30 and $50.  So we leave our dog there for the day.  Their price is very competitive.  We would probably use them again this Thursday.

I switched from a large local vet, where I usually saw a different vet every time, and I didn't like how they treated my old cat at the end of her life. I can usually get an appointment the same day here if something urgent comes up, and they are very good about following up with you to make sure everything is ok.

    Animal Medical Center of Itasca

I've used these folks several times now for checkups for my new puppy. They have been great, and best of all my puppy loves to go there (even if he gets a shot:-)

Supply prices are reasonable also (e.g. flea collars, fish oil, etc.).

Great! Dr Smith took good care of my boy. He needed to have a tooth pulled, which I suspected might be the case. As usual, she did a terrific job. She has a good 'bedside manner' with my dogs, which is why I still try to bring them to her, even though this is an 'Emergency' clinic. I am extremely attached to my dogs and do have a tendency to be one of those anxious dog parents. Dr Smith is great with me too! I never worry about leaving any of my babies in her care.

One of my dog's eyes had been really bloodshot. I have taken another one of my dogs to Dr Vernot in the past and I felt both confident in her and comfortable with her. She was running a little late for our appointment, but I have never had to wait for her before, so I did not think it was a big deal. Dr Vernot is an eye specialist, and to me she seems good at her job. She is great with the dogs and with the parents too. She explains everything in a way that I can clearly understand. She did a thorough exam on my little guy and explained to me what was wrong. Before I left, she had written up all the information I would need to know what was going on with my boy and what I should do if there were any issues with him after we went home. She also has a great sense of humor.

    Embrace Pet Insurance
Their insurance is not preventive and there is no medications. If your pet gets an accident or gets sick like one of my pet who has cancer, they will fully cover it. Those are just the coverage of the insurance I got. They have been very responsive. The money that are returned to me are returned quickly. They are very good with communication and they seemed to be very fair on their coverage.

They were very good but my vet left the practice and I can't find him so I am looking for another vet. Their prices were pretty reasonable; we had several things done. The staff and office environment was good and the office was clean. They also do boarding and are very professional.

Lisa has groomed our dogs for a few years now. She comes right to our house in her mobil salon. Our girls can be a handful to groom but she always manages to get it done! One of our dogs gets snappish so we assist with parts of her groom and we appreciate that Lisa will still come and do this girl. Some folks may be surprised by the cost, but to us it is worth it. It saves the girls the stress of having to be in a cage around a bunch of other dogs in cages and with people they don't know. Lisa is good with the girls and that is important to us too. It's a great service for folks with skittish dogs or for those who might have difficulty getting their dog back and fourth to a groomer.

Before we left that evening, Denise provided us with a standard contract. We agreed to pay $40 for 24 hours and $35 if the dog did not stay overnight. We thought that the price was high, but we had never boarded our dog before. Like many dog owners, we are concerned about our dog and we really didn t want to leave her in a kennel, even if the kennel was less expensive. Denise made notes of the dog s activities throughout the days that we were gone. Notes taken indicated that the dog was walked and played with. We picked up the dog on Sunday evening, and discussed the dog s behavior over the prior 3 days. We were satisfied that the dog was well cared for. We will use Four Paws again.
