    Classic Stoneworks
The guys at Classic Stoneworks measured, created and installed bathroom counter tops last spring and just last week came out (December) measured and estimated counter tops for a kitchen remodel that is occurring within the next three weeks. Their estimate came in more than $500 under the counter top guys recommended by the cabinet installers and Classic Stoneworks is using a superior product. They have at least 20 different kinds of granite in stock to select from and all cutting, polishing, etc. is done at their shop. I wouldn't choose to go with anyone else for any of my future granite needs.

    Superior Woodworking
The shelves tuned out to be so gorgeous I squealed with delight when I saw them. They were exactly what I wanted, and installed so seamlessly they looked congruous to my 1968 built ranch home.

    Superior Woodworking
We have an entertainment center that has a shelf above the top of the TV. We purchased a new TV and it was 2 1/2 and quot; wider then our old TV. We had to seperate the two hutches in order for the new set to fit which consquently made the exsisting shelf to narrow.
So we were in a dilemma as to how to fix it as it didn't look good without the shelf being there. We spent several days trying to come up with a solution and finally decided we were not able to do the job. We went to the phone book under woodworking and called Superior Woodworking who does cabinets, entertainment centers and other woodworking projects. I explained to the secretary what we were wanting and really felt she would probably tell us they couldn't do it (because it was such a small job) but she told us to bring it in and Joe would look at it. We did and he explained what he felt he could do and the problems that would be involved regarding adding the 2-1/2and quot; on to the width and matching the exsisting wood and the stain. So we knew it wouldn't match perfectly but felt it would be close enough. He gave us a price quote and then we took a piece of wood that he had picked and sanded he would use and told us to take it to a local paint store for them to match the stain as close as they could, so we did. We picked up the shelf and were pleased with the work and the stain, as it was as close as I am sure it could have been and a very good job on the addition. We asked how much the bill was and was given a price of around $30-40.00 cheaper then they quoted. I am very pleased with the work and the professionalism of his company. If I need any woodworking or anything that he does in his business I will not hesitate to contact him in future.

Was new to town so didn't know many painters but got a few estimates and he was the most professional and seemed the best price for the whole house.  When it came down to painting, though, I got the impression he was tired of the job and didn't want to do much actual painting himself.  A lot of slow work proceeded to happen, lots of chatting and not tons of painting - the house job took about 2 weeks all told, which was very difficult for us with 3 little kids to keep out of their hair.  The painting job in general turned out well - they did good work on the ceilings, walls, and all edges as we had numerous colors.  Jeff seemed annoyed that I wanted the doors painted black (I'm paying him to do the work, right?) and then the door painting was a bit half-assed.  I am still touching up doors and because enough coats weren't put on the finish is inconsistent.  And, the big clincher... while Jeff and his two guys were painting, about half a bottle of Rx Percocet and a third of a bottle of Rx Tylenol 3 disappeared.  Noticed a few gone the first day they were there but thought it was my imagination, so looked again the next night and TONS were missing.  After that hid the bottles but who does that?  So... I would highly recommend hiding money/meds/etc if you do hire these guys.  I have no idea which one it was as they were in and out of the back bathrooms but there is no other explanation for those meds going missing.  I find this very sketchy.

The project was downsizing a wooden, window, frame for a 1880's art nouveau, stained, glass, window. The woman we hired who secured the glass, had to remove some of the pieces, around the outside, next to the frame. The frame had to be downsized to make the glass fit, again. They did fine but the frame where it was spliced, has separated. It is too fragile to keep moving it to get it redone.

The guy who came was named Forrest and he was really good. They put up two walls in our basement. They did the dry wall, and for the dry wall they did the texturing and painting. He painted all the walls. I would say that they are very competitive with their prices and they do very quality workmanship. They are dependable, friendly and it seems like they have good integrity.

We needed a lot of drywall repairs. And to hand texture the entire house's walls. (3200 sq. ft), as well as installing rounded corner pieces on all corners. They understood every detail, and did an excellent job. Working within the estimate given.

Daniel's Quality Home Repair built me a high quality blanket cabinet for storing guest blankets and extra sheets. The piece of furniture is beautifully crafted and very functional. It's over 6 feet tall and is sturdy enough for the children to pull the blankets out of play in. It is built to my exact specifications and was done quickly and efficiently.
