    We were so pleased with service & work completed on relocating light fixture that we called back for ceiling fan install. Service was professional, responsive, & pricing was very reasonable (2 separate service calls). Would definitely recommend this company!

    It went very well. They notified me the day before to let me know my freezers and fridge would be of no concern as power would not be off too long. Also, I loved the bid because it spelled everything out. Exactly what panels and surge arrestor I would be getting. The Electricians labeled the panels and cleaned up before they left. They even vacuumed up the dust and dirt from cutting the sheetrock! The metal conduit from the power company was very rigid and they had not anticipated that as they would of had to tear into the wall before they were hired to know that. They rolled with it and got the job done with what appeared to be great ease. Very professional. I would definitely hire them again! I even enjoyed talking to Susan who did a fine job in coordinating the job and keeping me in the loop. The Inspector came out today and said Petruzzelli's did a and quot;Bang Upand quot; job!

    Update 2/9/2015: 
    Paul's wife called a couple of times after the below original review to offer to have him come out and patch holes. She did not realize we were unhappy with the work prior to that. I assumed she knew because I thought my husband was pretty clear about his unhappiness when Paul left at the end of the work day. That is my fault for not reaching out to her.

    I appreciated both times she called to try to make things right. I did not speak to her but she left voicemails both times. I was extremely busy at the time, and I did not make it a priority to call her back. I wasn't open to having him repair the holes although I appreciated her taking the time to try to resolve it, and offer that additional service. A few weeks later I received a Lowe's gift card in the mail. We did use that to get some drywall repair supplies and I would say her customer service was excellent. 

    I also edited some of my more vociferous opinions below, as I am not as upset about the job now.

    Original Review:
    I had talked to his wife over the phone and I thought he was just coming out to give me a bid and then would scheduled the actual work at a later date. Once he arrived, I asked for a quote for what I wanted completed (and if it was even possible). He said yes, that he could do the job, but he seemed rushed. I told him I didn't need an exact quote, just a round about number, as $1000 was out of our budget. He came back with $500. He asked if I could help him string wires (grab a wire on the other end) and I said, "Yes." This was because he didn't have a 2nd guy that day. And then said he could start now. I was surprised but thought, "Great."

    Using WIFI at our house was not working well, so I wanted a wired connection in 3 places in our house. I told him that currently, the modem was in our living room, connected directly to our only TV. My preference was to have the modem in our garage instead. I needed one connection in the basement office, one next to a computer in our family room, and one next to our TV in the living room. He started the work and had problems stringing the wires from the get-go. The way our house was built was making it difficult. He couldn't come through the ceiling to get to the basement office (as he was wiring through our attic). He made about 10 holes in the ceiling of a bedroom closet trying to get it to work. He asked if I had any spackle so he could repair it.

    I said, "Don't worry about it. I'll fix it later." With my permission, he punched through the outside wall to get the wiring to the downstairs office.

    He never asked if I could help him string any wires. Then he called in a 2nd guy later in the day. I was never told why.

    The hole where he originally tried to put the connection in the basement office is high up on our wall near the ceiling. He covered it up with a wall plate (installed crookedly) and you can still see the edges of the hole around the plate. There are also all sorts of black marks around that on the wall paint. It does not look as if he tried to fix that one properly. Later, I found another hole in the basement bedroom ceiling, covered up by a wall plate, plus 2 more holes in the living room ceiling above the CAT5 connections in the walls. I had to leave mid-way through the job (as it took all day) and didn't see it until I came home. My husband took over half-way through.

    Paul got the 2nd connection done next to the computer. All is good there. When he was getting ready to leave, my husband asks him about the 3rd connection next to the TV. He says, "Your wife didn't tell me she wanted that." As I remember it, I did tell him. Second, common sense should have told him that I needed a connection there. If the modem moved to the garage, I need a connection where the modem used to be. The entire time I interacted with him, he just seemed confused and flustered. 
    Because this was now taking longer than he anticipated, he was going to be charging us more for labor. He got the 3rd connection done, but by that time, he had to get to another job. My husband just wanted him out of the house, so Paul then left a huge mess of wires by the cable box with the modem still hanging out (with the door not being able to close yet). We later had another electrician over and he fixed the mess of cables leading out of the box up into the garage ceiling.

    I was unhappy he left the job like that, even though we just wanted him out of our house. The $500 inflated to $755. He called ahead of time before he sent the bill (because he was in too much of a rush to collect payment before he left on the install day). He said he gave us cost on the metal box (which makes connectivity via WIFI even harder--that should have been plastic) and gave us a discount on the labor. 

    Thinking back, I think I should have hired a computer guy instead. He would've known some of the connectivity issues. 

    On the positive side, other than the metal box limiting WIFI connectivity, all the wired connections work.

    Very professional.  Very thorough explaining the details of what they would do.  Also answered all my questions about water purifiers.  During the time we were talking, I mentioned that we were still moving in.  They asked if I needed any heavy boxes moved or anything since they were there and there were two of them.  I didn't need any help, but it was very thoughtful.

    Had a resident experiencing electric problems and presumed the outlet had shorted out. Even though it was a weekend and after hours Doug from Gietzen was more than willing to go above and beyond with a smile! Ran all the tests necessary to locate the problem which wasn't in the outlet it was in the appliance. As ALWAYS the customer service is stellar and everything was taken care of!

    Magic Valley Electric LLC
    Unlike a half dozen other electricians in the Twin Falls area, these guys actually responded to my telephone call. The estimator showed up within three days, suggested a couple less expensive options and scheduled the work to be completed within 10 days. And it was. I can't fault the other electricians that I tried (a couple that had performed work for me within the last year and a couple of new outfits I haven't tried yet) if they are too busy to accept my puny little jobs but a response would have been nice. I guess most electricians are ranked right up there with brain surgeons, much too important and busy to be contacted by mere mortals without a referral.  This does NOT describe the team at Magic Valley Electric. At no point was I left wondering what the progress was on my project.
    I won't poorly rate any of the other electricians that I attempted to call, I don't know the reason why they were unresponsive. If they were busy, I congratulate them for their successful business. If they just didn't want to take my small job then I hope that the recognition that I give to Magic Valley Electric will motivate them to be more responsive in the future.

    Needed outlets placed on exterior of home to be able to plug in heated kennel and water bowl for our puppy and an outlet to plug in Christmas lights. Called Paul last week and job was completed within 7 days. Both electricians that were at our residence were professional and friendly. It took about 2 hours to put one outlet on the side of the house and one in the soffit on the opposite side of the house. Finished outlets are perfect.

    After contacted Paul he came out on the agreed day. He was able to give great advice on where to place outlets and even suggested putting outlets on our new kitchen island (which I didn't think would be possible). He suggested moving the phone jack and electrical outlet from the top of where our new buffet counter was going to the underside of the counter overhang to help hide the hideous wires. He even replaced drywall where needed and did the 1st coat of spackle. He checked 2 of my husbands installs and made fixes where needed. We only use Petruzelli Electric for our electrician needs. They have done our hot tub install, and our living room remodel electrical needs. Recommend Petruzelli Electric to anyone who needs an electrician.
