    SCS Electric
Sherman is meticulous. He was flexible and accommodating with the power company's changing calendar for final hook-up. The final inspection was passed with flying colors. The inspector said he has never had an issue with any of his jobs. I would hire him again in a minute for any future projects.

    RONS ELECTRIC
Ron's Electric has done multiple jobs for me regarding my electrical needs. I have an older home and Ron has always bent over backwards to accomidate and make sure the jobs were done well. Pricing might be a bit above market, however, the quality speaks for the pricing.

    SELKIRK WELDING & MACHINERY
Bob has been servicing and fixing my generator for several years. He is an excellent welder and mechanic; he knows everything. He is also a meticulous worker, his shop looks like my kitchen. He's trustworthy, honest, and a great fixer of generators, thanks god, because no one else in this area seems to do this service. Bob is often swamped with calls, but he always does his best to get to your job. I can't say enough good things about him.

    TIMBERLAKE ELECTRIC INC
Two separate appliances in my shop were apparently without power (the shop furnace and an outside outlet). I thought there may be something wrong with the circuit at the circuit breaker so I called Tim and asked him to take a look. He was able to schedule a time within 1 day. After inspecting it (and finding nothing wrong) he discovered that it was two unrelated problems 1) the GCFI switch on the interior outlet to which the the exterior outlet was connected had been tripped. 2) The thermostat on the furnace had batteries that were almost dead (though the thermostat was still displaying "LO" on the LCD). Tim charged me nothing - though I insisted that I at least pay for his gas (after feeling so foolish for not figuring those things out for myself). Tim was prompt, courteous and thorough. Will definitely call him again.

    JE Electric LLC
John came out and bid the job as I gave him the work when the construction loan became available. He did not show up and would not return any calls. He is a FLAKE and do not bother even calling him.

    CLAWSON ELECTRIC
They were never on time, the owner never showed up and was always on vacation. They had seven electricians that we fired from the job because they were drunk and did not know what they were doing. They flooded our house with water. I would recommend to never hire this company. We sued and won a lawsuit against this company. They were fined and had to pay for all the fixes on the property.

    JE Electric LLC
I have an older home that had an electrical panel for which new parts were no longer made. (Sort of like have a BetaMax video recorder - it works, but heaven help you if it breaks!) When I first had problems JE Electric was very good about diagnosing the situation and even had some old but safe parts they could use to keep me going for awhile. Finally, however, one of the breakers was malfunctioning and JE Electric took a look, then showed me where this breaker was actually arcing and creating a potential fire hazard. They recommended replacing the entire panel. They coordinated everything with the power company and then found that the local power supplier was going to make us move our entire service panel and mast because I had built a carport under the current supply line. That complicated things tremendously and, of course, JE Electric was going to have to charge more because everything had to be moved to the end of my house! I was prepared for a big shock at the price but their revised price was very reasonable. The owner, John, sat down with us and explained what all would have to happen and what parts were required and what they would cost. He estimated the time required, provided there were no complications. I appreciated the detailed explanation and his honesty in letting me know that things don't always go as planned - I have an old house so I know that! Anyway, there were no complications, the price was right on the estimate, the work was professional and they cleaned everything up before they left. You want to have confidence in the person who is messing around with the wiring in your home and I definitely trust these guys.

    RONS ELECTRIC
Over the past 2 years after buying our house, we had talked to several electricians about issues we had been having with our electrical breakers (sparking, smoking, chords smelling burnt in certain areas, etc.) and the two who came out prior noted the issues, but said that the job was big and it would be expensive and didn't give us any details as if they didn't want the job. They would fiddle with the box, look frustrated, and charge for an hour of work, and leave. We knew that nothing was really accomplished, but and it seemed like they were just doing a quick fix.
When I finally had a project that I needed to get done in installing a light and outlets in an area of our house where we were putting a baby room. Ron came out and gave the place a look over. He immediately noticed what the other electricians did, but he also let us know of the inherent risks involved with our situation with the panels that were using wrong breakers, and our garage that was wired with a 30amp wire on a 200 amp breaker. He explained how the system was dangerous and also explained that the we had an under sized line going to the house, and the length of the line was degrading the amperage, and in course creating a higher voltage in the house. In talking to Ron we decided to take a multiple layered approach to the problems.
The first issue was preparing the baby room, and they installed wiring and lighting using as much of the old outlets as possible. He then worked on the mismatched and out of code electrical panels so that there was no immediate threat of fire. We had a renter move out of our apartment and we replaced outlets, but found that the wiring was done wrong from the start, and we were experiencing a strong plastic burning smell. He checked the outlets and rewired the apartment fixing the burning wire problem from in our walls.
We waited a few months, and we had them out to work on the major projects. They replaced the panels and rewired several of the areas of the house that were problematic. We had a renter move out of our apartment and we replaced outlets, but found that the wiring was done wrong from the start, and we were experiencing a strong plastic burning smell. He checked the outlets and rewired the apartment fixing the burning wire problem from in our walls.
A few weeks later we had a 270 foot line dug for the new higher amp line. It took a few days to get all the work done, and the process was smooth. The electricians and crew were pleasant and honest. We appreciated that Ron pushed us to get the work done concerning the safety of our home and family when others just walked away. Ron was the only electrician that seemed to care about making sure that we were getting what we needed.
There are other projects that need to be done at the house electrically, and we can hold off on those until we have capacity to get those done. There really was no pressure, just information and a concerned electrician.
