    They are dishonest and will charge you more in the end. They gave me a quote in the beginning and once they found out what my insurance company was giving me they changed their quote. I am also an out of towner and a disabled vet so they took advantage of that. I wish I had went with Blue Ribbon as my insurance company recommended but I had already committed to Rick's. USAA told me that they plan on not using this body shop in the future and since they didnt have a contract with them that they were unable to help me. Dewey is not to be trusted. I always loved the town of Missoula, MT and had a incident with a vehicle while driving to my next duty station back in 2002 and the Ford dealership warrantied some work for me even tho they didnt need to. They support the military. I will not let this bad company cast a shadow on this great town. Please feel free to message me with any questions about how they took advantage of me and my family. I tried to work it out with them and am consulting a lawyer but I dont wanna continue dealing with the stress they have caused me. I just dont want others to find themselves in the same situation. Only way to try to prevent such behavior in the future is to get the word out about unfair business practices. "WARNING" Stay away from this company. Will take advantage of anything they can.     They're doing alright. They're doing what they can. GM has gotten in the way of being none responsive. Having computers that would not do the job that needed to be done but the most recent occurrence was Alpine Motors because GM was screwing up so bad they totally detailed the car. I have an owner. They kept it over night, detailed the car and thanked me for my patience. My impressions are pretty good there. They're great. They haven't really screwed anything up. I got a super deal on it but it was not an inflated price. They're punctuality has inclined. They've been really good.

    They got the job done. did not take accesses time to do the work. explained what needed to be done, and did it.

    Six Star seems to be characterized by courtesy, service and results. We were treated kindly, and our problems were resolved in a timely manner. We are very likely to return for repairs. They even have coffee and cookies.

    They were still working on car when I came back (which was fine) but then one person yelled down to the other about "did you even look at this"  They were searching for some kind of cap I think.   They didn't  take the time to explain it to me even though I was standing right there.  When I asked is every thing Ok they said  "yup"

    There were no problems, It took as long as they said it would and were no surprises. However, the next time I needed a oil change I took my vehicle some where else and they said oil was leaking. I asked them if it could have been from the previous stated service. The said yes. I called Six Star Automotive and asked if they gaurenteed their work. They said of course. I explained what the dealership had said they found. They said to bring my car right in and they would look at it. They did that and said they did not find such a problem. My car is still running fine and it has 212,000 miles on it.

    My 1987 Subaru GL would not start after changing the spark plugs. Six Star got me in quickly and diagnosed the problem as a distributor that had been installed incorrectly by someone else previously and that is why the car would not start with the plugs and wires installed according to manufacturer specs. They fixed a plug that had cracked and put the distributor in the correct way.

    Rather than replace parts that did not need to be replaced they called me and clarified the problem and checked again. They gave me options and their was no pressure to buy their products. They also did not charge me for the time they put into finding the issue.

    I came in without an appointment in crisis because my oil light had come on. They took my car in and quickly diagnosed the issue and decided they could fix it within a few days and without my car having damage from driving it. They fixed several parts that another mechanic had missed and found the source of the oil leak. I replaced several parts prior to that time that were caused by this source and was missed by the other service places. They also charged me $300 less than the estimate from the other shop. They were kind to me when I really needed some kindness and I was relieved by that.

    What I especially like is that I get an honest assessment of what needs to be done now, what can wait and what the approximate costs will be. That way I can budget from one service call to the next. With some mechanics I have sometimes felt that I was paying for them to and quot;thinkand quot; about how to fix my car in addition to the time actually spent working on it, but that has never been an issue with McCall's. In fact, there have been a few times when I know that he did not charge me for as much time as he actually spent on the car. His rates are probably about the same as other mechanics, but when I write the check to him I always feel like I've been treated fairly. He knows what he's doing, operates in a professional matter and treats his customers with honesty and respect -- don't think you can ask for much more.
