    THE RIGHT CHOICE CHIMNEY SERVICE
Dan and his employee spent about two hours at the home, cleaning everything to the extreme.  Dan wrote up a bid and FAXed it to me the next day regarding the possibility of installing a new stove and liner.  Very friendly and hard workers!

    A Fireman's Chimney Sweep
Good. Brent was professional, knowledgeable. Only glitch was their scheduling program/e-mail... sent three different times for one appointment. But it got straightened out, so no mix-up.

    Daniel's Quality Home Repair LLC
Daniel's Quality Home Repair built me a high quality blanket cabinet for storing guest blankets and extra sheets. The piece of furniture is beautifully crafted and very functional. It's over 6 feet tall and is sturdy enough for the children to pull the blankets out of play in. It is built to my exact specifications and was done quickly and efficiently.

First they came and inspected my chimney, said it was clean, measured for a cap to prevent birds from coming in my house and prevent smoke downdraft. Then they ordered the copper cap that creates a natural updraft to prevent the smoke puffs that gave a smokey smell to my living room at times. They came a second time to install and clean behind the insert. They were prompt, called before coming, polite, and quick. They installed the cap, had me look at it and explained what they did. They pulled my stove insert out to clean behind it (yes...found candy kisses that my grandkids had stuffed behind it!) made sure everything was safe and secure, inspected the catalytic converter, and never once tried to talk me into something I didn't need. It feels so good to have everything ready for the winter and hopefully the cap will work as listed. I am excited for the fireplace season! I will definitely use them again!

    Blacks Chimney and Fireplace
The owner, Sean, was prompt regarding the initial assessment visit and price estimate. Two men (JT and Matt) were sent out to do this work. Took approximately 3 days to complete (a total of about 15 hours). They were very professional and communicated well regarding the work needing to be done as they pulled old tile off of the floor and wall to make the necessary and appropriate repair. They were very thoughtful regarding the project, kept the area cleaned up at the end of each work day, and the work completed was of EXCELLENT quality! Highly recommend.

I wanted to have my chimney inspected, as we had not had it done in quite a few years. Several years ago, I searched for a business of this type and wasn't able to find on in my area, so, I let it go. The Woodburning stove in my home isn't the primary source of heat in my home, but a very relied upon and quot;backupand quot;. I got the contact information from a local Woodburning stove dealer, contacted them and made an appointment. A few days later, they did show up, unexpectedly, but I believe the confusion as to date and time of the appointment was my fault. What I was looking for from them, was a stove door, to chimney cap inspection of the setup in my hour and I feel that is exactly what I got. They climbed on the roof, shined a VERY bright light inside, using a camera, they were able to show me just how bad off my chimney was. When service companies tell you and quot;Oh, yea, it's in bad shape (whatever that thing is) you kinda just have to take their word for it. Tough to know otherwise if it's not something you know about yourself, or its the inside of a 20 foot chimney. The bottom line is, they inspected it, found it to be unsafe to use, had photographs to back up the need for repair and justify the verdict of and quot;unsafeand quot;. These people were VERY friendly, professional and seemed genuinely concerned that I understood how serious the need for repair before next use was. Not for the need of their business, but for the safety of my family. Had I used this system without having it inspected this season, could have ended in a story on the news. The bad news is, the repair estimate is between 800 and 1000 dollars. As to the and quot;competitivenessand quot; of this estimate, I don't know as it isn't an expense I can take on right now. When the time comes for repair, I will broaden my search a little wider geographically so I can get some bids. Most often, I will go with whomever my gut tells me will do the best job all things else being equal. Even if I have to pay a little more, I would still probably swing in the direction of idaho stove works. Besides what I have told you here, I just have a good feeling about the kind of people they are.

BRIZEE HEATING AIR CONDITIONING & FIREPLACES
It went well.  The furnaces and fireplaces work well.  The Furnace installers, fireplace installers and the gas line installer did a wonderful job.  They were courteous, professional and always cleaned up after themselves.  Bryant went above and beyond bringing  remotes for the fireplaces to us after hours.  He took the time to explain them to us and that was appreciated.  Kevin and a big task in putting in the gas lines for the fireplaces, stove and BarBQ.  They all did a good job.  My last encounter with Brizee was today when we paid the bill.  Mr. Brizee greated us at the door with a smile and a "Thank you for your business".  I wouldn't give my Heating and Cooling business to anyone else.  Ever!
