first impression was great, organized and treatment was by freezing.  They have a person who does the wart removals and is a PA with a PhD in this area.  The wart returned x4 and I am now having it come back again all within one year.  I believe its a
cash cow --each time I was told it will be gone this time for sure, and each time it returned..  going to a private practice to be seen by a MD for definitive treatment.

He checked me thoroughly froze several spots that were pre-cancerous. Addressed every question and concern that I had in detail. Very gentle bedside manner seemed genuinely concerned about me and providing excellent care.

The doctor listened to my concerns regarding pre-cancerous spots on my face, several small moles on my neck and a larger one on my face and let her know that I wanted them removed. She checked my chart and said she didn't see any previous skin cancer listed on my chart. The main office had sent the wrong chart it was for someone with the same name different SS#. The doctor was aware that I didn't have insurance and told me that I should use sewing scissors on the moles on my neck to remove them that it would be cheaper (how barbaric is that) and prescribed a medication for the pre-cancerous spots saying that would be cheaper also. I found out after trying to fill the prescription that one tube was close to $400 and was a chemo cream which I was not about to put on my body. Funny thing is that I had the money to pay for the treatment I requested and never once mentioned that I was trying to save money. The doctor did however freeze the mole on my face without charge (embarrassed by having the wrong chart) but her last words were it was pointless because it would just come back. So far no sign of the mole returning. Needless to say I was unhappy with the doctor and will not return. I made an appointment with Dr. Carderelli in CDA and he performed the procedure removing everything and explained in detail any questions or concerns that I had.

    * Review written by my daughter about her experience with this office:

My first experience was with Dr. Laura Brown. She did my permanent eyeliner in 2010. It only lasted approx 1 yr and began to come out, not just fade but actually come out. I went in and showed them this and was offered a $50 discount off a repeat procedure. I felt it should have been redone at no or very little cost. Towards the end of 2011 I went ahead and had their esthetician redo my eyeliner. Not a good job either !

On 3/28/2013 I went in for an MRI. The radiologist asked if I had any tattoos. I told her about my eyeliner and she said because it had been done not that long ago that it should be alright as far as the iron oxide was concerned, that it shouldn't have any in the ink. But, when they did the MRI, my eyes began to tingle with a slight burning sensation. Iron oxide is used in many topical cosmetics but is not recommended for ink embedded under the skin. I assumed ( my mistake ) that because this was a doctors office that their ink would not have iron oxide in it.

On 4/6/2013 I had a professional who has been in this business (permanent cosmetics) for 25 years fix this mistake
( and was told it was the worst she has fixed for someone in her 25 yrs ). I was told the ink previously used had iron oxide in it and was fading to a blue color which explained the tingling/burning sensation with the MRI.

The following Monday I went into NI Dermatology and expressed my dissatisfaction, and showed  pictures of the job done in their office. I asked for a partial or complete refund or credit to use in their cosmetic dept. I was told that if I would have come to them before I had someone else fix it they may would have redone it.

Why would I have them redo something a third time? I wish I could upload a picture.

I have also had a laser treatment done here that left me scarred. Just ridiculous.

I would not recommend this office.

It is the first time I used them. I had a previous one that I really did not care for, so, I tried someone else. I had Dr. Cvabcara of Advanced Dermatology and Skin Surgery. I was very happy with him. He was very personable. He was a very likable guy. He listened to what I had to say. I kind of like a sense of humor, so, that is what I look for. I do not like the too serious. He was a very nice guy, a very nice physician. I plan on continuing with him.

It went very well. It is really quick to get an appointment and the waiting time is short. Everybody is very friendly and helpful, and it is a nice environment in the office. I really like them.

He was nice enough, listened to me, but I don't feel he was thorough enough. However, I am not so discouraged that I wouldn't return to him if another problem developed.

The doctor seemed to know her stuff as far as skin issues but since the other issues came into play I am not overly impressed
