    HADLEY'S HOUSE OF WHEELS
We bought an SUV that we knew needed some work (estimated $600) when we bought it. We were willing to put that much into it. In less than one week of owning the vehicle, we found that it requires $2500 worth of repairs JUST TO BE SAFE ENOUGH TO DRIVE FROM THE MECHANIC TO HOME.
We contacted the seller, Hadley's House of Wheels to inform them of these costs and our expectation for some kind of assistance. We were LITERALLY hung up on. Twice. We were told that the car issues were "not our problem" "your fault" and that "maybe we shouldn't have purchased the car".
It is unheard of to hang up on a customer. It is insane that they were so unwilling to assist in less than one week and less than 200 total miles since owning the car.
This place is a RACKET. DO NOT buy a car from "Mike" or "Scott" at Hadleys House of Wheels.

    ONE STOP AUTO SALES
I was in the market for something used and good on fuel mileage.  I was primarily using the internet for my search.  One Stop Auto has multiple locations in Pocatello and Logan.  They had a car I was interested in on their Logan lot.  I went in and asked if they could bring it up for me to look at.  It was late in the afternoon on Saturday so they weren't able to bring it to Pocatello that day but they did have it in the following Monday evening.  They were willing to bring it up with no commitment from me which was nice, and they called me when it was in.  My wife really liked it and I did too so we decided to purchase it.  I found a few things wrong with the car and they were willing to get them fixed in a deal that we came up with.  They worked with us on the price and I feel I got a really good deal from them, even though it took some haggling, but I am used to that when buying a used car.  I took delivery on the car and scheduled a return time to have them do the repairs needed.  I don't  know if the repairs were done in house or by another business, but they were completed in a reasonable time frame.

The dealership service department wanted $440.00 to repair the part that was associated with the recall. When we advised that the part had not been broken when they performed the recall we did not feel this charge was reasonable nor our responsibility as we felt the part had been damaged during the replacement due to the factory recall. We have not resolved this issue to date and the car has not been repaired for this particular problem. We have used this dealership numerous times over the past decade and have always been satisfied with their service and repairs. However they have had the habit of replacing things such as windshield wipers without consent, which at a dealership can be much more expensive than replacing them yourself. Overall we have been satisfied with their service and will continue to use them, but we always make sure they call us before any type of work outside of the original scope is done.

    HIRNING CHEVROLET-GMC
I find this dealer to be very reasonable about auto service.  I like to take my car to the dealer where
I purchase it so there is a record of the complete service history.  They will give you a ride to work and
pick you up while your car is being serviced . SO you don't have to sit & wait.

They are always courteous and patient whenever we've had any mechanical problem - they always go the extra mile.   We have an extended warranty on our truck, and they never hesitated calling and taking care of the coverage that needed to handled.   We always did our service for oil and filters there as recommended, and the free car wash added was a bonus.  We would recommend their service department to anyone.

    Phil Meador Toyota
Car dealers are car dealers. However, I found it very easy to deal with Phil Meador when I bought my first new car (a 2010 Toyota Prius). True I had a substantial down payment, but the salesman was polite. This was a slow sales period, so I was able to easily get dealer invoice for the car.
I don't have anything exceptional to make note of and that's good news with a major purchase. It was a smooth transaction, their service department was always extremely efficient and clean. I have also had a good experience dealing with Toyota Financial Services who is carrying the note on the car. They were really easy to work with when I was briefly unemployed and helped me avoid having a missed payment reported to the credit bureaus.
All in all, a pleasant experience and I love that smug Prius feeling!

After the safety check was complete, the salesperson came out with a form that indicated that there was a major leak of coolant and engine oil from a failed head gasket. The repair for the head gasket was quoted at $1600. Since I had never had a problem with leaking oil or overheating, I asked them if it was safe to drive the car to another service center for a second opinion. He said that he wouldn't recommend driving the car. I drove it to another mechanic, who found a missing clip on one coolant hose and no other problems with the engine. He saw no evidence that would have lent itself to a misdiagnosis of a leaking head gasket and no major leak of oil, although the coolant was leaking because there was a missing clip. Either the mechanic at Phil Meador was embarrassingly incompetent or malicious, either way I will never be going back to their service department for any reason, including warranty service.

I went to Phil Meador Subaru after having a bad experience at another local import dealer, and got thorough, considerate customer service rather than a hard sell. The salesman took me on an extended test drive after listening to my concerns about engine size and dealing with mountainous areas; he showed me all the details of the car and the test drive included an area with a steep incline so that I could see how the car handled. I was very pleased, and upon understanding my intent to purchase the car, the dealer's representative did all possible to get the best deal possible. Their finance division was very patient with all my questions and worked very hard to come up with a reasonable number for the sale. Since the sale, they have followed up with me a few times to check that the car was working out for me, a small detail that means a lot.
All in all, the experience was very positive, and the car is great! Extremely pleased overall.

    HONDA SALES & SVC
My experience with Honda of Pocatello started off just fine.  The salesman took me on a test drive of two different Honda models, and I was fairly pleased with them.  He even made a good offer for the more expensive model.  But he then tried to hard-sell me, and after about a half hour of haggling said "So there's no way you'll be leaving here today with a car?"  At that point I was pretty turned off, and left without, clearly, having bought a vehicle.  A week later, after having purchased another car from a different dealer, the Honda salesman called back and asked if I'd still like to purchase a Honda.  Bear in mind, I love Honda's cars and wanted very much to buy another Honda.  However, the hard-sell was enough to dissuade me from purchasing anything from this dealer.  I told him that I had chosen to go elsewhere with my purchase.  He then asked what car I had purchased and from whom.  I told him I had bought a Subaru, to which he said "Oh, I could tell you terrible things about Subarus with their leaky head gaskets.  They're always a problem."  Now, I had already read my Consumer Reports and nothing but NOTHING was said about head gaskets being a problem, and their reliability score for the model I chose was rather high for its class.  I was unhappy, very unhappy, with the lack of professionalism shown by the salesman, and I am very happy that I did not give them my money.

    ABC AUTO
when i first tried to go get a car from him, he told me he see's me in a mini van, i test drove the mini van but it made alot of weird noises, and had way over 500,000 miles on it, and i didnt want it, he says he doesent want to give me any other car because since i had a family i would be best in a van, i tried telling him what i want, but he wouldnt give me what i wanted... i drove away not satisfied, the car lasted for a month and a half till the radiator went out, than he took it in to get serviced and didnt have the car back for a month, 2 days later the fuel pump went out and i was tired of having this van so i told him that i want a different car and i will pay him extra for it, and he is making up excuses why he shouldent come down here, and giving me the run around. once i get the car payed off, im never going there again, and i would suggest that you dont either....
