ASkyline Painting and Drywall, LLCThe results are spectacular! I'm not the average homeowner and wanted to finish the upstairs on my own, however, I could see that this job would be more difficult and labor intensive than the average 100+ year old home. This is my seventh house that I have renovated and the upstairs has many angles (difficult roof lines) and detail that make it a challenge for even the most experienced professional. Henry came the same day I requested his service via Angie List. He provided three references and a?competitive quote, and I called every one?of his references which were the best I have ever heard (and I thought too good to be true at first). One of his?references drove 4 hours to get reception to call me back while on a hunting trip - the other talked for almost an hour about how Henry is a true find and that she was lucky to find him and won't call anyone else! His crew showed up on time, was polite and enthusiastic and worked long hours, 10 consecutive days and Saturday to get it done. This is unheard of in my area of Idaho. I have a large project and have had many trades here to help finish the project upstairs - electricians, plumbers, roofers, windows etc. Henry and his crew were the BEST professionals I have experienced in my 20 years of renovation (including Denver metro). Its a shame I can not post pictures of the results on Angie's List (why is that?)! There is a long space of ceiling upstairs that is flawless (the longer the visual space, the more obvious slight flaws will be). The walls are smooth finished which is typically a more expensive drywall finish because it is labor intensive and takes skill which is hard to find. Orange peal texture which everyone in this area is accustomed to is popular because it hides drywall imperfections and is a cheap.?When he told me he likes to prime coat the finished walls so that I could see the finished results, I was astounded because I have finished many walls and hit a wall after priming - didn't think anyone else did that! Henry's work is equivalent of a plaster of Paris finish in the drywall world! He is an artist and very well skilled in his trade. He is willing to drive long hours to a remote job site. AUncle Brian's Home ImprovementsThey did good quality work. They were very responsive when we first contacted them in fitting us into their very busy schedule. We live out of town and it was a real challenge trying to coordinate things. Brian took great care of scheduling and getting the crews in the house when they were scheduled. They did good quality work and had great communication. They kept us informed on what was going on and ensured that were were getting good quality of items. They were personable and nice to work with. We had a very cordial relationship with Brian and his workers. AAll American Remodeling & Handyman ServicesThe work is phenomenal so far, we still have a week left to completion, The men have showed up daily and are finishing on schedule for what was promised. They are knowledgeable and skilled, we had to run new sewer lines with some jack-hammering and busting out concrete walls, and they took care to prep well. The one thing I learned is, I wished we had itemized the work and individual budgeted prices at the beginning, because we had done our own painting and left out things like radiant flooring to try to save what I thought would have been a lot of money, those things were included on the original bid, yet we are still paying the same price of the original bid. CBurke's Klein's was contacted by my insurance company after the Spokane windstorm in November 2015 to put up tarps over the damaged roofing areas. They made it out the same day and got the work done quickly. However the tarps were simply draped over the vent pipes protruding thru the roof. Lucky for us we had a roofing contractor in mind and made preparations to have the roof re-shingled within the week. The invoice was $1200 to nail down 3 large tarps.
