I asked to see the same vet as before, Dr. Bauersfeld who I liked, when I made the appointment for a
cat who had been there before. I also brought my senior cat who was 17
years of age. He had not seen a vet in 12 years, and was not sick, just
thought since he was older would check on his health and his teeth which
did not look good to me. After I checked in, and waited for a half an hour,
I was told that I was seeing a different vet, the lady, Rachel Poet.
She was very rough with my old cat, and did not handle him with care. She did not even look at his teeth and tried to
do lab work on him which was very traumatizing to him. They said
they needed to anesthetize him so they could draw blood work. Which I did consent to. Better than tying him down
and listening to him howl and cry.
Fortunately all his blood work was great and they said he was a very
healthy cat. Bring him back in 6 months to redraw the labs. What??? It
took him 3 days to settle down from his aggressive and rough treatment
by this lady vet. When I asked her how his teeth were she
said they were fine. Really?? A 17 year old cat with very yellow brown
teeth?? I have been a rescuer and foster for cats for much longer than
this person has been a vet so I know crummy teeth. I took him home and
vowed never to bring him back there. On a positive note, the front desk people were friendly and courteous.

    Idaho Veterinary Hospital
We had only had our golden retreiver puppy less the 24 hours. Her eyes were swollen shut and had swollen lips etc. vet knew within minutes exactly what she had. "Puppy strangles". Reassured us she was going to be okay. The technician was amazing too. All at Idaho Veterinary are very caring animal lovers! Anyway, meds were prescribed and a follow up visit was done 4 days later. Thoroughly checked out again. Ears, heart, etc. this visit with our vet went over everything about a new puppy. We have been there for many years and would not change!

Tina, Is the best and no more expensive than taking your dog someplace to be groomed. More than pleased with her. She has taken care of my dog for about 10 years. Very caring about pets.

It was pricey because my dog was really sick.  Overall, for just general things they are not expensive. It was around $400 but that was for an overnight stay, medications and IVs. It was a major thing. A regular office visit will probably cost $50-$60. They are really thorough and really good with my animals. They basically saved my cat's life not too long ago. They are super good with animals.

The technician and the doctor were both very responsive and listened to my concerns carefully. They provided options and helped with my choices of care for my dog. They are always responsive and follow up. They don't overcharge and don't recommend unnecessary procedures, which I appreciate.

    Spoiled Dog Salon & Resort
This is the best groomer in the Treasure Valley and further! I first learned about The Spoiled Dog through the owner's (Melinda) work with the local dog rescues when I dropped off a horribly neglected dog to be groomed. Since moving from Seattle to Nampa I had been unable to find a groomer I trusted. Seeing what she accomplished with this frightened shelter dog, I took the plunge with my own dogs and have been a regular customer since. When I adopted an emaciated Anatolian Shepherd Dog whose coat was in terrible shape, I immediately took him to Spoiled Dog. He could barely walk and was so afraid, a staff member carried him inside for his grooming. He looked like a different dog and was less stressed when he left than when I brought him. Not only is their work impeccable, but they truly love and care about the animals left in their charge. Having had many groomers over the years, it is easy to say with authority that this is the best. I drive from Caldwell to have my dogs cared for there and would drive further if I had to!

    Intermountain Pet Hospital
I called at about 9 am to get my dog in because he had a very irritated paw that wasn't getting better. They got us an appointment at 10:30, which was better than I expected due to the fact that they haven't seen him before. I called back about 45 minutes later after failing to find someone to watch my other dog, and they said it was totally fine if I brought her with me and they would help me take care of her while my other dog was seen.
When I arrived, the staff was very friendly, and easily helped me handle both of my huge dogs. My dogs have previously shown nervousness when entering a vets office, but they both willingly entered this one, immediately easing some of my own nervousness. They also immediately took us back to the exam room, rather than having us wait in a waiting room. Dr. Bingham and his assistants Megan and Veronica (a trainee) came in the room within 5 minutes. They introduced themselves, and loved on my dogs. Then they got down to business. They asked what was going on, then asked if it was okay if they did a full exam as well, since it was the first time he'd been seen. They told me what they found and what it means. Then he took a little bit of the fluid from my dogs paw onto a slide, so that he could verify what kind of infection he had. This meant a lot to me, because it was nice to see him verifying his diagnosis, rather than just prescribing a myriad of medicines, trying to cover all his bases.
While he was viewing the slide he took, his assistant Megan answered all the questions I had about other services that they offered. She also printed me detailed lists of what things cost, and exactly why they cost what they do. It was very helpful to have these print outs because now I can show them to my husband (who is currently away for military duties) and not be guessing on what things cost.
When Dr. Bingham returned to the room, he had printed a picture of what he saw on the slide and explained it all. Then he explained the medications, and what some of the side effects might be. Megan then took my payment, right in the room. When it was time to leave, another dog came into the office and was barking. Megan said I could stay in the room until that dog was roomed so that it didn't spook my dogs. Then they helped me get my dogs back to my car, and bid me good bye.
The whole experience was relaxed and easy, easing my worries about entrusting the care of my babies to someone else.

    Classic Cuts Pet Grooming
I had called numerous groomers and they all were booked up and/or not accepting new customers. I was able to get into Classic Cuts the next day and was I very satisfied with the cut. Amber and her husband work together and are very professional. I have had to leave my dog most of the day at other groomers, but Amber is efficient and I had my dog back in less than 2 hours. I would highly recommend their services to others.

I was very pleased with the service.  Gail is very professional but also has a lot of empathy and sincere concern for animals.    I felt complete trust and confidence and that was certainly justified.  She was very reliable and always kept me informed of how things were going.  She is insured and bonded, I saw her clear background check and she is also certified in animal first aid and CPR.  There was never any need for any of that, but it gave me confidence when comparing her services to others. The day time walks gave my dog the exercise I was too busy to provide and my dog was much happier and I believe healthier because of them.  Well worth the money!

She is mobile. I have used her for a long time. I use her because I don't trust  the other groomers around. She comes to the house and does exactly what I ask her to do. She is a good groomer and grooms different kinds of dogs. Her price is very reasonable.
