    Treasure Valley Veterinary Hospital
The vets, assistants, and front desk staff are always professional, prompt, and friendly with us and our animals. Even when they're very busy they take the time to answer all our questions. Really a great veterinary practice.

    Calico Cattery
I needed to board my cat for several days and checked out a couple of cat boarding facilities. I really liked what I saw at Calico Cattery and went back several times to make sure I wanted to board my cat there. They were very nice each time and I did board her there. Received texts with pictures of her and updates on how she was doing. Very please and would definitely recommend this place. Will use it in the future to board my cat.

    CleanPup Mobile Grooming
I was looking for a groomer online and didn't know there was such a thing as mobile dog groomers and decided to give them a call. Angela answered and was so nice and her rates were the same as taking my Retriever to the pet salon. She came to my house yesterday and was on time for my scheduled appointment and Chloe came out so good and smells great. I love the smell of the shampoo she used. I will be using Clean Pup again.

I have had my schnauzer and my cat groomed several times by Sam, the owner.  On most occasions it was difficult getting an appointment and you need to give at least two weeks before getting one.  Most of the time you call and leave amessage and she returns your call which can take up to a week.  Two times back she strongly suggested that I bring my schnauzer in every 4-6 weeks.  I followed her instructions and I brought her in around 6 weeks.  Because my dog is blind and scared I asked Sam how she did.  She said the dog was fine and fell asleep in the kennel after her bath.
Knowing I needed to have her groomed again by the end of November because I was going away on vacation I gave Sam ample time to call me back by calling her at the beginning of November.  She did try to call me twice While I called her ab out 5 times.  She finally left a message in which she said, "As I told you before I think your dog needs to be groomed by a vet since she is so scared."I am not questioning her judgement but she never told me and here I am with little time to spare trying to find another groomer.
While I think her prices are good, she is just a groomer.  Nothing special.  However, this was totally unprofessional and disrespectful.  If, for whatever reason she did not6 want to groom my dog she could have let me know at the beginning of November and not wait until near the end.
I would definitely NOT recommend this groomer.  She's not worth it!

She shaved and bathed my Australian Shepherd...his coat was super thick...she shaved him CLOSE for the summer.  He looks adorable and feels so much better.  I've had him shaved before at other grooming places and he usually has a few minor nicks etc, but this nicks!  He loved it.  I can't wait to use her again.

It's reasonably priced. I haven't had any problems with her workmanship. My dog doesn't come home cowering or anything like that. I think it's good and reliable. Every time I go in there, I've been pleased. I've probably taken my dog there four times and I'm happy. The groomer I like is Justine. I'd give them an A. I'm gonna go back. I haven't had a bad experience yet so I'm really pleased.

Dog grooming. I usually go to Pet Smart but wanted to switch to a local company. Went to the location on water tower in Meridian. My dog was left unattended for 2 hours because the groomer left and no one at the store even knew she was there. I never got a call that she was done with my dog and so I finally drove over to check on her. It took me a long time to even find an employee to help me get her out because the groomer had clocked out for the day. It took 2 employees to finally figure it out. They let me take my dog without even checking my credentials because they had no idea or documentation who left what dog. They charged me $35.00 for the service but had no detail or documentation what was done in the grooming / how things went. No one had any idea what was going on. I expressed my concerns to the store manager (who blew me off and pretended like he didn't see me the first time I asked for help) and he listened politely but didn't care or apologize or have any answers. I got my basset hound home and noticed that $35.00 later my dog's ears were still caked with dirt. I called Zamzows corporate for help and got a response call and thought I would get help, but instead, they just told the groomer to call me who then left a message on my voicemail yelling at me and telling me it was my fault. I want my $35.00 back! Will never shop at what I thought was a good local company full of integrity. Guess not!!

The Cat Doctor Veterinary Hospital & Hotel
We have boarded our kitty here a couple of times a year usually for a week at a time, for the past several years. He really seems to enjoy his stays in his multi-level condo. The boarding rooms are set up with the condos around the outside of the room. Each condo has a window so your cat can enjoy watching the world go by outside. In the center of the room is a couch and a play area in which they allow the cats out to explore or relax one at a time. Everyone at this facility is very friendly and professional and clearly understand and love cats. Our cat is used to dogs, but it is nice to know he won't have to be nervous about hearing strange dogs barking nearby since this facility is for cats only. This is about as close to a home environment as you can get without actually leaving your cat at home and with the professional supervision, it's even better.

    Settlers Park Veterinary Hospital

The entire staff at Settler's Park Veterinary Hospital showed incredible kindness and compassion to both me and our cat during a trying two day period of diagnosis and the difficult decision to accept the reality that Baldwin's life was coming to an end.

After meeting Dr. Mills, I quickly felt tremendously comfortable and fortunate to have him and his staff becoming our new Vet. We're relatively new to the area, used Angie's List and once again benefitted from our membership.

Without any hesitation we would recommend Dr. Mills to anyone with a small animal needing good and tender care.

I returned to pick up my dogs after I received a call they were done. Once of my dogs was still being groomed. I paid prior to receiving my dogs. I could tell they were not perfect and I understand with mats at times you have to make concessions. brought them home to see there were clumps of up trimmed hair, their ears were uneven and they did not resemble the teddy brat head and lamb feet I had requested. I could not take my Shih Tzu for a walk for a week because the pas on his feet were sore from the grooming attempt. I sent an email to the owner after returning to the salon a week later talk with staff/manager and no one was present who could talk with me. I did eventually speak with the manager who agreed to re-groom both dogs. I was surprised when I returned the manager is the one who groomed my dogs in the first place. When I brought my dog in there was a loose dog (Rottweiler) who became aggressive with my Lhasa, of which they apologized, but who lets an aggressive dog wonder around when customers are coming in? They stated it belonged to a friend if one of the groomers. Again I received a phone call that my dog was done. They did trim up his face where I could see his eyes finally, again his ears were crooked, and there still is a big chunk of hair out of the left ear, the body was choppy, not all the nails were trimmed. And the manger brought him out and seemed to think she had done a good job. I must say they were all nice, very willing to try and fix the situation, the manger was not a good groomer and I wonder if she is even a professional. I have dealt with the owner in the past, he was always very nice, knowledgable and courteous. It's not worth the money to have my dogs groomed poorly by people just because they are nice.
