    JSC Handyman Services Inc
JSC Handyman Services Inc, Jon, is highly recommended for home repairs and additions. His quote was reasonable and completed all that was requested maintaining a clean work area throughout the project. It is great to see someone take pride when providing a service. Jon showed that pride from start to completion.

    PEA CONSTRUCTION & REMODEL
PEA construction was very professional from the initial point of contact throughout the entire flooring installation process. He arrived on time as scheduled, worked very hard, paid attention to detail, and did a fantastic job. I would absolutely hire him again!

    Brilliant Services LLC
Steve from brilliant services showed up within a couple days to bid the project. He was informative and thorough. Very personable and had the bid to me same day. His company sent me a thorough bid along with a typed up contract of services to be provided and expectations. They had Mike at my house laying tile within a week. Mike was amazing. He did such a good job and worked extremely quickly. He finished the job by himself in two days. The difficult part was I had already started the project. Mike was able to work off of what I had started and made everything look amazing. I had several bids prior to these guys and I was extremely nervous to just bring anybody in to do tile work. In the state of Idaho the licensing process is minimal at best. Like Mike said there are Tile guys and people that just do tile. But the problem with tile is you dont get any do overs. Once its laid the process to tear it up can cost more than the initial project. Home Depot bid me over 8k and that didnt even include materials. These guys were a fraction of that cost. They have even been available for text or phone call questions even after the project has been completed. I grouted the tile myself and they have both been available for questions. I would highly recommend these guys for tile work for sure but Im sure they handle all things in homes with amazing care and service! Matt

    Dillabaugh's Flooring America
They were very helpful and knowledgable in the beginning with making suggestions and helping us find the right product. Full payment was required upfront. They were quick to take our money, but not very good on follow through. Installers (who were contracted through Dillabaugh's) arrived promptly and did a good job removing the old flooring and prepping the underlayment. Dillabaugh's rep had promised that she would stop in to check the progress and see the final result. This never happened. We had contracted and paid for quarter round to finish certain places (i..e. around cabinet bases) but installers just caulked these seams instead, so we didn't get what we paid for. The caulking looked good so that was okay with us, except that we had already paid for the quarter round. Dillabaugh's would not give a refund for the quarter round so we said that we wanted the quarter round in case we decided to add it later. More than two months later and after several phone calls, we still don't have the quarter round. They are very slow to respond once they have your money. There are probably businesses out there with better customer service and follow through.

    PEA CONSTRUCTION & REMODEL
Excellent job!!! Pedro helped us to get our house back to normal. We had a flood affecting 3 rooms with hardwood floor and our laundry room. After going back and forward with insurance and another contractor we came a cross with a mayor roadblock. The new hardwood did not match existing one and there was no more available. Neither the insurance nor that contractor figured out how to finish the job with remaining material. Pedro listened our proposal to carefully select wood floor from all the remaining material. He help us to complete the restoration in our dining room hardwood floor and finished the job on our laundry room. While he was here we also replaced our master bathroom carpet.

    Great Floors - Meridian
It's beautiful. They did a wonderful job. They carry all types of flooring but what we went with is a new product. It's a step up from the laminate because it's dent, scratch and water-resistant. It looks like wood but you won't have the problems. You can lay it in longer rooms and bathrooms. Their pricing is pretty much on.

    PEA CONSTRUCTION & REMODEL
Pedro did an excellent job!  Even though it was a small repair job for just one kitchen tile, he was professional, affordable, reliable and friendly!  He paid such attention to detail in how he performed the job.  Pedro communicated with us responsively and promptly and showed up on time when he said he would. His pricing was very reasonable, charging only $40 to repair the one tile. He gave us an estimate of $40 and the final price was $40 as expected.
We provided the grout and we already had the spare tile.
I would definitely use Pedro (PEA Construction and Remodel) again.
    Thank you!

NAMPA FLOORS & INTERIORS (State Street Store)

Nampa Floors provided a poor quality carpet and pad. After two years, it looks like it's been here for years, and we remove our shoes before entering our home.  The Installers were very rude. A father and his two sons were contracted by Nampa Floors. They were rough and gruff, and was rude to my other contractor in my home.  One of the sons p***** on and around my toilet twice, and guess who had to clean it up.  I was not happy.  The carpet seams are very noticeable, even after two years.  They told me this was normal.  I left several messages for the owner to call me about the situation, but he never did.  I will NEVER use this company again.  Now, I know what you're thinking - no one could probably please this lady.  This is not the case.  We had a complete remodel and I was completely satisfied with everyone except Nampa Floors.  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY or you will regret it.  I will have to replace all of my carpet within a couple of years.  $3200 down the drain.  As far as the laminate they put down, they had to do this twice, because the quality of the boards were horrible - damaged, blemished, chipped, etc.  So my 2-3 days turned into 2-3 weeks - ridiculous.  Most companies would have inspected the boards as they were being put down or before they delivered them.  Even though the second install wasn't much better, they made me sign a release to release them from any further claims.  What a company!  This was the Five Mile location, not State Street.

    Brilliant Services LLC
The appointment went well.  They gave an estimate for a master bath remodel with drawings.  We ended up not doing the remodel because it was just much more expensive than we expected and we did not feel that it would make a big enough difference in our home.  We decided to replace carpet and tile in all the common areas instead - a much bigger bang for the buck.  I can't really say that they were unreasonably expensive, just that we were unprepared for what a job such as this would cost.  My one objection regarding cost is that I told her we did not want to replace our cabinets but would rather find a way to make them work with the new design, but rather than discussing this with me further, she quoted new cabinets, which amounted to about 20-25% of the total job estimate. My only other complaint is that the drawings took longer to get than I expected.  I imagine they had received an overwhelming response to their Angie's list deal.

    Idaho Paint Brush
My insurance company wrote me a check to have the repairs done on my house. I came down with a really bad case of pneumonia so was hospitalized for the entirety of this project. I thought the insurance company would oversee the repairs to my house, but since I gave them permission to give the contractor the check, they just paid him $68,000. No one was there to oversee the work done so he just left and didn't lift a finger. I did not know that it was my responsibility to oversee the contractor I thought the insurance agency would check on the work. 75% of the work he was paid for didn't get done and the 25% of the work that did get done he subcontracted out to people he found on craigslist. Safe to say the work was shotty at best and I had to pay out of my own pocket to have the work redone.

THIS GUY IS A SCAMMER AND SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED.
