    Treasure Valley Eye Center
I went for my annual eye checkup to get a new prescription for my glasses and contacts. I went to see Mr Williams at Treasure Valley Eye Center. I walked out with a prescription for my contacts that he copied off the contact lens boxes I brought with me, and with a prescription for glasses that was about double of what it should have been. Mr Williams refused to even use the autorefractor stating "he could do without the machine". He then proceeded to do a manual refraction test where kept saying "I know you won't be able to read anything, just guess what looks less blurry". At the end of the exam, I had not read a single letter on the wall and of course I couldn't read anything because he wrongly almost doubled my prescription. Then he went to bill me for specialty services. I filed a complaint with VSP, and if anyone reading this review had the same issues, please inform your insurance so this so-called "doctor" cannot mistreat any more patients.

    Intermountain Eye Clinic
Went to their website and typed in a message asking about what vision insurance they accept. I did receive a reply back and so I called them. I needed to leave a message and I did. No phone call back, so I went back to email them and they took 2 days to email me back. It was around the holidays so maybe that is why it took longer than normal. However, the day of our appointment the staff and doctor are very friendly and efficient. The doctor took time to show me my "x-ray" pictures of my eyes and explained why I had such good results. He was very professional and talked to me throughout my exam. The receptionist when I asked her a question about my benefits that she could not answer called my benefit coordinator and the answer right away. No high sales pressure to buy the most expensive frames either. They are an office that I recommend highly.

He’s wonderful and he gives me regular care. During emergency, he sees to it that he gets to me very quickly because my one eye is not so good so he must protect the other eye. He handles me very nicely; he lets me make the decisions but he gives me good guiding all the way.  I don’t have any problem with him.

It went very well. They are very thorough. I have recommended them to other people more than once. I've been going to him for at least 9 years.

    Reynolds, Dr. Adam C.
I had heard from other patients of Dr. Reynolds about how great he was. So I chose Dr. Reynolds to perform a cataract removal surgery and most recently went in for a follow up visit. He's very personal and personable, with a great bedside manner. He's very busy but they get you in as soon as they can. He's very punctual and his staff if extremely friendly. I'd definitely use this doctor again in the future.

    Restore Vision Centers
My husband was thrilled with the procedure and the results. He said that the discomfort level was minimal -- it's more of a pain to get your teeth cleaned. The doctors/staff were professional and friendly. His eyes healed so quickly that he was told he didn't need to come in for the 6-month follow-up visit. He now has 20/15 vision. He chose the cadillac of surgeries: intralase with wavefront, which is what I will probably get.My personal experience with the clinic involved the estimate/payment portion of the treatment. After several attempts to get the final price estimate in writing (including what portion of it my insurance would cover), I gave up and estimated how much money I should commit to my FSA. The person at the front desk was incredibly nice and accommodating, but I ended up getting the name/number of the woman in the billing office and dealing with her directly. My only suggestion for this group would be to train front-line staff a little more re: the ins and outs of insurance and pricing. Otherwise, everything was perfect.Ultimately, we're really pleased with the treatment/clinic, and I will use them when it's my turn to get lasik.

It went great. I needed to have my right eye done and it could be done at any time. We scheduled the appointment to be done at the Eagle Eye Surgery on Eagle Road. It all went as planned. There was a bit of shuffling of my surgery date due to a transplant surgery that obviously superseded my do anytime surgery but the result was a better appointment time and all was well. The results were outstanding. I needed my other eye done the following year and it was handled equally well. Both offices, his and the surgery center are professional and courteous and the nursing staff are focused and know what they are doing. I ordered new glasses at his offices and was pleased to find that they are very reasonably priced and know their business. I recommended them to a friend who had Medicaare insurance requirements for glasses that were not able to be met by her own doctor. She went there the following day and had exactly the pair she needed at the price that was covered by her insurance company. I have subsequently needed laser treatment for my first eye (normal following cataract surgery for some people) and it was done in his office (although I could have had it done in the surgery center for more money). It cleared my vision and I am fine. While I am too young for Medicare, his office has a steady stream of Medicare patients in the waiting room and I got the impression that the pricing structure for his office is very reasonable. His staff said his rates were probably the lowest in the valley. Considering how good a doctor he his, I'm pleased and surprised.

When I went in for my appointment the staff were friendly as well as the person who checked my eyes and told me about the procedure. She shared successes and risks. Then the doctor came in to explain my results. Although he said I could have the surgery, and after taking a few days to think about it and calling with questions (they replied in a timely manner to my phone calls) I decided not to because of the risks. They were very supportive of my decision. My overall experience was excellent.

    Simonson, Dr. Amber L.
I have been using them for years. They are very thorough, professional, and I don't feel like I am being rushed. They do a very thorough exam. I have never had any problem finding anything there. Their price point is good; they fit within my plan and everything like that. Their selection has been good.
