They are very professional, efficient, and answered all of my questions. It was everything I would expect from a physician. I didn't have to wait long for the appointment, or the doctor. It is very organized and prompt, you get in and out. I am very impressed with the staff.

I had adenomas found with both procedures. For the colonoscopy the adenomas were removed in this clinic. For the adenoma found from the endoscopy I was referred to a doctor in Salt Lake City to perform a resection.

    Wingerson, Dr. Eric A.
He is very educated and he keeps his self very up to date as to what is going on in Gastroenterology. He is a very personable individual and he takes the time to talk to you and to listen to you which is very unique. He has talked to me for up to an hour for a normal appointment. The staff is very friendly, personable, and you can call them to help you get into him or they will ask him questions for you. I think he has a wonderful staff right now. It's not a big office but it is an efficient office and a comfortable one. He is very funny. He records everything you say and he gives a copy of what you discussed.

I go to Dr. Davis for an ongoing condition. The office staff keep track of when I need to be in and do an excellent job. The nursing staff is terrific. Dr. Davis seems to be on top of my condition and is very knowledgeable. I have a great deal of confidence in him and the office.

    Grand Teton Gastroenterology
Grand Teton Gastroenterology was referred to me by a family member. I made an appointment over the phone and was given a few weeks out from my initial call date to the scheduled appointment. When the time came for the appointment I received a call confirming my appointment and informing me of a $50 charge for not giving a 24 hour notice of my absence if i were to miss the appointment. When I arrived to the facility the receptionist gave me paperwork to fill out and provide my background and reasons for my visit. I was able to fill out all the documents in about 15 minutes and was directed almost immediately to the back for my initial visit with the doctor. The nurse who escorted me to the back was very rude and short with me when I was to answer her questions. I felt like I was being interrogated. Dr. Williams was my physician and he was the opposite of the nurse; he presented himself as though I was the most important use of his time. He took extensive notes and asked the same questions that the nurse did previously. Our interaction was in total of about 15 minutes or less. Upon exiting, I was confronted by the receptionist on the way out, who was adamant about me paying up front for services rendered according to my insurance plan. I informed her that I would like to have Grand Teton Gastroenterology bill my insurance and I would pay my insurance 80/20 plan for the exact amount required. She would not agree and I proceeded to pay the amount according to their policy. I later scheduled a follow up visit and was called as a reminder, as before ,with a 24 hour notice or $50 fine. When I arrived I was almost immediately sent back to the room and the same nurse from the previous visit interrogated me and was once again as rude or worse than before. The doctor visit went as it did previously. Before leaving I payed the amount owed according to my insurance plan. About three weeks later I received a call from the billing receptionist that I owed a $15.86 charge for services performed. I did not receive a bill or any indication of the additional services that were performed were not covered in the beginning by the amount owed before I left the office. Later I received a bill from a collection agency for the amount of $15.86. From my experience and from the experience of others who have used this medical group, the feeling that I have is that this medical group is only interested in the amount of money that they receive, not the patient that is paying them.

    Grand Teton Gastroenterology
Dr. Hendrix is a little soft-spoken, so you have to go prepared with everything you want to ask and discuss, because he isn't the type to get into long discussions. He is very attentive and will listen and take lots of notes. He discussed treatment options with me, and said to call if after awhile what we had decided upon quit working. When that time came, and I was in a lot of pain, he was out of town and the closest appointment they could get me was over a month away!!! I didn't need an emergency room or anything, but just had to live with a lot of pain and terrible discomfort until my appointment came up! Then this happened again. My condition flared up, and I was in a lot of pain, and needed help badly. I called the office and Dr. Hendrix's nurse very appologetically said he wouldn't be in for a week; would I be ok until then? ...leading me to believe I would indeed see or speak to Dr.Hendrix in a week. I called again the day they said he would be back, hoping the nurse would have at least spoken to the Dr. about my situation and gave me meds, recommendations, etc. and she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about or remember me at all. Then I was told I would need to see the doctor, and that the nearest appointment would be 6 weeks away!!!! This is absolutely maddening, when I am in constant pain and discomfort, and can't seem to get help!

    Evans, Dr. Larry
When I returned for my follow-up Dr. Evans was over an hour late before coming into my room and that was after I complained to the nurse in the hall. When he came in my room he insisted on further, more invasive testing rather than agreeing the test results showed much improvement. I will not return to this doctor.

They are also not real clear with their "clear liquids and soft foods". The practicing doctor that I had wasn't exactly the friendliest, attentive doctor I've experienced. I don't believe I was able to get his full attention. Regarding the nursing staff I would give them outstanding kudos. They were great.
