Even though Dr. Roisum was informed that I couldn't afford to have him examine my daughter due to no insurance coverage, he charged a full office visit fee of nearly 170.00.  He made no mention at the time of the visit that he would be charging anything for the second daughter and I assumed he didn't intend to as I had already made it very clear there was no insurance coverage and I had no money to pay out of pocket as I am disabled and on medicaid.  I had been told by the person who referred me that Dr.Roisum was unpleasant andto be sure I specified I wanted to be seen by Dr. Merzlock.   I had actually scheduled the appointments with Dr. Merzlock who is in the same office.  I was never told I would be seeing Dr. Roisum and not wanting to make a big deal of it, decided I would see him this time and just be more clear before the next  visit.
When I called to make the appointment, the office staff is very rude and unpleasant even on the phone.  During the 90 minute wait, I also witnessed to unhappy patience be disrespectfully treated and leave very unhappy.
I have made multiple attempts to explain my situation and request they waive the $38.00 fee that remained after finally getting it submitted through my ex-husband's insurance policy but they refuse to consider any lenience.
My last 2 conversations, I requested that Dr. Roisum call me personally to discuss the actual details of the visit and my concerns and was told, "Dr. Roisum doesn't talk to patience on the phone."  Both of these conversations ended with the Dr.'s staff hanging up on me!!!
This office is very unprofessional and shows no compassion or understanding.
I have since returned to visit Dr. Merzlock in the same office and he is wonderful!  I would love to continue seeing him as my regular physician as well as my daughters, whoever, due to the unprofessional, impersonal and incondsiderate actions of Dr. Roisum and his staff,
I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS OFFICE AND I STRONGLY ADVICE OTHERS TO SEEK OTHER OPTIONS.

I was a new patient without an emergency condition. I was able to get an appointment within 2 weeks. I was called into an exam room a short time after my appointment time. The nurse took my history and performed the usual checks like blood pressure. The doctor listened attentively as I described my multiple chronic conditions and past treatment, and we then discussed them. He agreed to tend to all of them and would refer me to a specialist if we decided it would help. Other primary physicians have refused to care for one or more of these conditions. He agreed to write new prescriptions without another appointment when my current  prescriptions expired a few months later.  I was pleased to find out that his office could do blood draws and x-rays.  His practice includes a physician's assistant. Since I have joint problems, I like the idea of a practice of family medicine with sports medicine.

Dr Roisum is also certified by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M). Anti-aging medicine is founded on the application of scientific and medical technologies for the early detection, prevention, treatment, and reversal of age-related disfunction, disorders, and diseases. McCall, Dr. Andrew L
I'm normally an active hiker, but had been unable to hike for over a year because my foot got very sore every time I tried. I talked to my primary care physician (a well-regarded internist), who referred me to an orthopedic surgeon. Neither was able to figure out what the problem was. In desperation, I asked the local running-shoe store to recommend a podiatrist, and they gave me Dr. McCall's card.

Dr. McCall had my problem diagnosed within about five minutes. He gave me information about possible treatments, and suggested an order in which we should try them. The first one (a pad in my shoe to lift part of my foot) worked, and the problem was cured inside of two weeks! During the time my foot was sore, I'd developed a number of other small foot aches because of the strange way I was walking. I'd tried over-the-counter orthotics, which helped. At my request, Dr. McCall made me a custom pair of orthotics, which have cured all of my foot pains!

Dr. McCall and his office staff are very friendly and professional, and I'll go back any time I have more foot problems. I also really appreciate their flexibility in scheduling appointments late in the day to accommodate my work schedule.
