Biddulph Huntsman & Dalling Orthopedic Surgery
I made an appointment with Dr. Huntsman. Before I saw anyone, I was taken to radiology for three x-rays. Instead of seeing the doctor, I was seen by a Physician's Assistant. He looked at one of the three x-rays, gave me a brief exam and recommended I come back in three weeks. I never did get a consultation with the doctor, but was charged for a physicians visit and for three x-rays of which only one was reviewed. Had I known I was to be seen by a PA and not a doctor, I would have never scheduled the appointment. All the people I saw at the office were pleasant and professional. The facility was very clean, professional and comfortable. I was kept waiting about 45 minutes from my appointment time until seeing the Physicians Assistant. I believe that when scheduling the appointment with Dr. Huntsman (who I specifically asked for), I should have been informed that I would not be seeing the doctor, but instead, the Physician's Assistant.

    Biddulph Orthopedics
It went very well. Dr. Biddulf's staff was able to get me into an appointment the very day of my injury, which was amazing. Dr. Biddulf splinted my hand and gave me instructions for keeping comfortable until the surgery, which was performed about 5 days later. The surgery itself lasted longer than anticipated, due to the softness of my bone. Dr. Biddulf ended up putting in a plate and several screws. The hand is healing well and there have been no additional complications. It has been two months since my surgery and I don't have full range of motion back yet, but I am able to work and I have had a lot of progress. Continued PT should have me back to full mobility within another month or so.
Every appointment with Dr. Biddulf went fairly quickly. There were occasional waits here and there, but nothing that I found to be excessive. Especially since Dr. Biddulf spent a lot of time with me during my appointments, making sure that I understood everything, and that all my questions and concerns were answered. He has a kind and friendly bedside manner, is very knowledgeable, and I think he has done a great job for me. I would recommend his services to anyone in need of them.

This doctor got me in very quickly for a very thorough assessment and advice/ recommendation on the necessity of surgery. To keep a long detailed story short, I had this Dr. replace my knee with AMAZING success. I would ( and will) continue to trust in him for any/ all orthopedic issues.

Dr. West and his PA were very helpful with my injury.  Excellent advice.  Helped me get my injury healed satisfactorily.  Very capable.  Very nice staff.  Fresh baked cookies in the waiting room on some days!

.. It wasn't the best experience I have had. He is a great doctor don't get me wrong, but it is hard to get an appointment for aftercare, hard to get instructions, I am still in pain a year after my surgery, can't do certain things etc. The abruptness of the staff is off-putting I mean I am paying a lot of money to get this done couldn't they give me more than five minutes? It is hard to get an appointment and then they overbook so every time I was waiting for at least half an hour then called to a room where the wait could be anywhere from fifteen to forty minutes. On the first visit he came by after fifteen minutes and asked if a nurse had been in yet, I said no (didn't know this was the doctor yet) he asked what I was there for and I said my shoulder I had been to a few general doctors and they recommended a specialist. He said surgery sounds about right and he would send a nurse in. I didn't get to see the doctor again after that until after my surgery, I didn't realize that was to be our meet and greet and my examination was to be by a nurse. However their billing office has been good to work with. I am assuming they know if they send me to collections it will be harder to get their money. I would only use again because they have all of my tests and such.

He is young and it is easy to see him. He is not particularly good, bad or any different, I think he is just an average orthopedic surgeon. In terms of office environment, it is like a doctor's office or it is like any other office. In terms of staff friendliness, they are average. In terms of effectiveness of treatment , he is no better or worse than anyone else is. I do not plan to use to this provider again in the future.

The most important thing to know about Dr. West is that, he will spend as much time with you as it takes for you to understand. This is good and this is bad. You can sit in his waiting room for an hour or more waiting for him to get done with other patients. However, it is nice when you are in there. He is very thorough and competent. He is very good in terms of communication. I am not going to use his services again in the future.
