All American Remodeling & Handyman Services
The work is phenomenal so far, we still have a week left to completion, The men have showed up daily and are finishing on schedule for what was promised. They are knowledgeable and skilled, we had to run new sewer lines with some jack-hammering and busting out concrete walls, and they took care to prep well. The one thing I learned is, I wished we had itemized the work and individual budgeted prices at the beginning, because we had done our own painting and left out things like radiant flooring to try to save what I thought would have been a lot of money, those things were included on the original bid, yet we are still paying the same price of the original bid. We have not been able to live in the space yet, I will edit with photos when it's completed.

    J & J Construction

It went very smoothly.   The workers were very nice and easy to talk with.   The work was done beautifully.   The price was exactly the amount quoted prior to work starting. They made suggestions before starting work that were very good and made the whole project better.

They were very considerate of our living in the home at the time and cleaned their work area very well each day.   They notified us whenever they would not be coming that day as they were awaiting a subcontractor.

They have done a minor job or us recently.   It was done exactly as needed and within the price and time frame they gave us.

All in all, we had a smooth and pleasant experience.    I would definitely hire them again and will recommend them to anyone talking of remodeling or needing their services in any way.

    CLASSIC WOOD FLOORING
I was referred to Classic Wood Flooring by another flooring company when I needed hardwood floors refinished in a rental unit.  We'd just pulled up carpet in the living room and the wood under it was spotted from pet urine and dry in spots.  They filled in or replaced damaged wood and redid the finish in the upstairs.  They were early, but they warned me they were ahead of schedule.  The workers were polite and efficient.  They did a great job!  I'm so pleased with the end result.

    WALL 2 WALL CARPETS
I love buying carpet at Wall 2 Wall. They are patient and willing to work with my budget. This is the fourth time I've purchased flooring from them. This time, I wanted to replace two light colored carpets that had been heavily stained during the course of raising two daughters. I picked out a carpet and Kent, our service provider, gave me a sample to take home. When I got home, I realized that I had made a poor choice and called back. Kent helped me make a new selection and even sent pictures on my cell phone so I could tell him exactly which one I wanted.
The day before our new carpet was to be installed, we discovered water damage under the old carpet pad and had to cancel and reschedule installation for a week in order to rectify the problem. I called Wall 2 Wall a mere 12 hours before our scheduled installation and they were warm, sympathetic, and helpful. They helped me reschedule and did not charge me a penny for the inconvenience. Kent called the day before to ensure that our repairs were complete.
The gentleman who put the carpet in was delightful and highly skilled. He prepped our floors and installed both carpets in less than three hours. The entire process was great.

    BELL HARDWOOD FLOORS
This project was "cut your losses" from the beginning.  A lot of promises that the floor would be great when in fact it is wavy, laden with hairs of the person finishing the floor. Baseboards were not removed so the floor could be sanded completely.  This left a gap between the baseboard and the newly sanded floor - which was filled with caulk.  They said this was standard procedure, yet nowhere on the web could I find one site that said caulking was a standard practice. The result is I cannot remove the baseboards for replacement because any baseboard will sit higher than the sanded floor.
We were rushed out of the hotel we were staying in (at manufacturer's expense) much to soon as the smell of the finish was nearly unbearable.  Again, research on the internet showed that the chemical smell was unhealthy and needed to cure for more time than we were given.
There are places where the final coat of finish was missed, leaving it more dull than the rest of the floor.  There are circular sanding marks showing on the floor.  We were told they were from the buffing and would disappear in time.  They caulking that was done is two different colors (a yellowed white followed by white). The painting and calking of the baseboards is just plain sloppy.
We have numerous pictures of all of the above.

    Stapleton Flooring
My husband and I contracted Stapleton flooring to install carpeting in the basement of my house. He scheduled a time to come and evaluate the space and provide a time and cost estimate. There were some unique challenges because of the room layout and the stair cases. We scheduled to have the work done while we were out of town. When we returned home the carpeting had been completed and we could not have been more pleased. Everything was completed exactly as requested. The carpeting was done promptly and professionally.

    Franklin Building Supply
Franklin Building Supply were very easy to work with the team, they brought exactly what we wanted, we didn't have to drive to their store, which was very nice. Their installers did a great job. We had some laminate flooring put down and we very fussy about how it was put down and they did a great job with it. I would recommend them highly.

    Paul Davis Restoration
It went incredibly good. They kept us up to date at least twice a day. They always had someone coming out to check on the progress of the work. It was wonderful, and we couldn't be happier with how they kept us informed on everything that was happening. It all looks perfect! You can't tell where they ripped the sheetrock out of the ceiling and replaced it. They repainted everything well, and cleaned up. Another nice thing the crew did was pass out business cards as they came in, so that we knew who was working.

All American Remodeling & Handyman Services
Did a  nice job, had good people working for them, seemed to have a specialist in each phase (i.e., men for heavy duty stuff, good  painter, nice caulking, well fitting linoleum, nice removal of old wallpaper--without damaging the walls, good matching of baseboard joints, and no leaks afterward from the new toilet seal)
We appreciated the owner spending his time helping us pick out the materials, and his (and his workers) concern that we be satisfied. The owner also kept us well-informed as to his progress in getting materials.  Also, all the workers were polite, and nice to be around.

They did not seem to have a lot of experience with wallpaper, as the original estimate of the amount of wallpaper needed was too loo low to match patterns. However,  the fact that wallpaper was not recommended for steamy areas led us change our minds anyway, and go with painting -- which was well done.
We would definitely use this contractor again.

    Laid Right LLC
He brought in Travertine form Salt Lake City at a discounted price and used several advanced techniques in laying out the rooms, cutting the stones and laying them.  He has a good picture book of past jobs to help pick-out designs.
