    Three of the bathrooms in the house were completely remodeled. When the upstairs hall bathroom was remodeled, it was discovered that the bathtub drain system was broken. It was not repaired when the walls were torn down. The first contractor quit the job midway, and another contractor was hired. He worked on the downstairs bathroom and was supposed to repair the drain problem in the tub upstairs. it was not done. The tub did not drain and I had standing water for over a day. I called a drain service and they were not able to do it. They stated that the work should have been done when the walls were torn out. Needless to say, I called a licensed plumber who was able to access the tub through the downstair's ceiling. He replaced the drain and was able to pull out the piece that was plugging the drain. It was a $400 job. He informed me that the shower should have had copper pipe placed in it when it was remodeled. Our showers pipes were replaced with plastic. He questioned whether or not the contractor had a plumbing license because a licensed plumber would not have plumbed the shower in that way. It would be another major overhaul to correct it. Again, Lowe's is very willing to take my money, but not give me top quality service with appropriate professionals.

    Our experience with Battleson's was very difficult. Poor customer service was obvious from the beginning. Guy doesnt show to come measure our square footage. I have to call and remind him a few days later. The only reason we did business with Battleson's was because they had installed the carpet in our upstairs (the decision to have them install the carpet upstairs was not made by us) I spoke with a few different sales representatives during the process. I was told they did not have the same carpet as my upstairs, but they did have a carpet made by the same manufacturer that was the exact color. Unfortunately, after the carpet was installed, I called them because it was apparent it was not the exact color. I never got a call back from the Manager. 1.5 weeks later I emailed. I was informed it was "the closest color they had to my upstairs carpet". Wish I would have known, I would have saved myself almost 1k and went with the other company we were looking at that had a "very close" color. As frustrating as this was, it was the way things were handled from beginning to end. Had they acknowledged the mistake (or really tried to do anything to make the situation better I would be okay with it) It is obvious Battleson's doesnt care to provide a good service or experience. No attention to detail. The representative hasn't responded to my 2nd email, and that was a common theme as I asked questions and was doing my research at the beginning. Responds to emails in all caps. Common email courtesy and common sense says you don't email in all caps.

    Very good job with measurements and estimating.  This person knew their products and timing of sale.
    Installer did very good work, explained some details (like carpet direction).  Cuts were well planned.  There was little waste.  Installer did most of the heavy moving of furniture quickly, easily, and with good planning.  No furniture needed to be moved to a different floor!
     Finished in a timely manner.

    Not everything went per the plan. BUT after the job was complete, we wee completely satisfied First the carpet didn't get ordered on time by the carpet company sales rep so Tim had to jump through some hoops to get it delivered On time. Two different installers were used and after the install was complete we found that one room's carpet (with a pattern) had a visible seam. The second installer worked on the seam to attempt to hide it and we were told to let the carpet relax for a couple of weeks to see if the "peaking" would relax. After three weeks, I was not satisfied, and called Jason Battleson. He asked me what I wanted him to do to fix the problem and I asked him to come by and look at it which he did the same day. He came by and agreed without question that the seam needed to be recut and re-seamed at no additional expense. I felt like if I had asked him to replace the entire room, he would have probably done it to make me happy Fortunately that was not required and It looks great now and Battlesons handled the entire ordeal very professionally! Highly recommended!

    We visited this store after a recommendation from my wife's sister.
    We love the look and feel of the carpet she has in her home and went in search of something similar.
    When we got there it took a little while for us to be helped.
    Once we were helped the gentleman was friendly and knowledgable.
    He answered all of our questions and made a few suggestions of course trying to upsell.
    Going off of only the measurements that we had taken in he gave us some ballpark figures on a few different styles and pads.
    Most of which was way out of our price range.
    We unfortunately wanted to have our cake and eat it too.
    We couldn't see buying cheaper carpet that we would most likely have to replace in 5 years.
    So our decision was to look elsewhere and/or hold off.
    Ultimately we have decided to hold off until we can afford the carpet we want.

    We moved to Idaho Falls from another state.  Prior to our move we picked out our carpet at the local Carpet One in the state we were moving from.  We ordered our carpet by phone from Carpet One in Idaho Falls and also scheduled the removal of the old carpet and installation of the new carpet for our new home through them.  They did the work when they said they would and even worked after hours a couple of nights tearing out the old carpet.  The job was completed on time and professionally.  We love the new carpet in our new home!  We had a great overall experience and would have no problem recommending Keven and his crew.  Friendly, courteous and knowledgeable!

    This did not go well. We noticed that the carpet was not wearing very well right away. We called Carpet One and the salesman came by and said we were wrong and the carpet was fine. We called again a year later and they finally admitted that there was a problem. They sent a carpet inspector by who spent an hour inspecting and taking samples to go to "the lab". Samples were lost and another month elapsed. The owner of carpet one came by and acted very confused during the visit. We received a letter about two months later telling us sorry we can not make any adjustments.
