    Just want to say thank you to Todd for getting our fridge back up and running. One morning, we woke up to a warm fridge. Found Todd on here, and gave him a call. He came out to the house and determined what part went bad. To make a long story short, Todd visited us three times, but there was only one service call charge, plus the part that we needed. Although the first part was needed, it turns out a second part also needed to be replaced. He shows up on time, and communicates well. Don't hesitate giving Todd a call if your fridge is down. I'm glad we found him on here!

    He knew the probable cause before he even took it apart. He showed us where the hose had split and even left the old part with us. No question that was cause of the leak. He had the part on his truck and fixed it all in one visit. Works great.

    They are a small company that fix weed eater machines. The main thing I didn't like is that it took 2-3 weeks to have it my machine repaired, who knows what the reasonable expectation. It seemed a little long to have it repaired.

    It was easy to get them scheduled. I didn't care for the time frame they set up (1pm-4pm). The work seems to be okay. 

    They could improve by having tighter appointment times. However, we would use them again if needed.

    I originally called GE to get a small thing on my fridge repaired, the front panel that has the options for water/ice/light/etc. My first impressions of Todd were really good. He came the next day to look at my fridge, diagnosed what was wrong, ordered the part and came back two days later. When I got home from work to check and see how well it was working, I noticed that it was worse off from where it started. Now I had no functionality from my water/ice dispenser on top of the panel having issues. My father-in-law was the one present during the time Todd was here, He told me that he came in replaced the part and just left. He did not test anything to see if it was working at all. I called him back and told him what was going on and he said he would be back the next day. Once again, I had my father-in-law here because I had to be at work, he told me Todd came in and looked at it  and put the old components back on it and left. When I got home, I had realized that my fridge was warming up. So I put on the turbo cool/freeze mode to try and help keep it cold. My fridge had not been working since the first time Todd had come to replace the parts on it. He has since been back two times and it is still not fixed. It has been the better part of 3 weeks now that I have not had a fridge/freezer in my house. A week and a half ago he told me that a part would be in a day or two. I then called up GE after 3 days of not hearing from Todd. They called him and he told them that he was waiting on the part and that it should be that day, Friday, or Monday. He finally called me up on Tuesday saying that the part should be in on Wednesday, a week later than he originally told me, and we scheduled a time for him to come replace it. From the second encounter with Todd, my father-in-law has told me that he does not trust him, and that she seems to be very shady. Each time Todd has come to my house to replace parts, he has kept his back to us as if he did not want us to see what he was doing. Todd has poor communication skills. I was told several times that he would call me and I never heard from him. The only way that I could reach him was by calling GE and having them call him. He would never answer my personal phone calls. All in all I would not recommend him because he works slowly. It took the better part of 3 weeks  to get my refrigerator up and working again. I would think that it would not take that long to get it fixed and running. There just did not seem to be rush on his work....

    My dishwasher wasn't draining so I called several appliance repair companies. The only one who called back told me it would be a week before they could come to my house. I remembered Mr. Tocheri from several years ago when he fixed my dryer (it's still working), so I gave him a call. He answered the phone and told me he would arrive the same day, between 11:00-noon. He was right on time at 11:00, fixed my dishwasher (a piece of plastic was causing a blockage), and only charged $67 for almost immediate service. He is great.

    The gentleman was able to pin point the problem and fix the leak. I called Mr. Appliance and was greeted warmly on the phone. I told him the problem and asked him to please contact my renter to set up a time to come repair the refrigerator. He did so and my renter said they were very good to work with. When the service was completed, I was called for payment information and even received a faxed copy of my receipt. Very easy to work with and I will do so again.

    We called with an urgent need for repairs on our oven.  Just a couple of days before the Thanksgiving Feast, our oven died!  I called on Monday and Jeremey came to do our repair the next morning.  He was able to find and repair our broken wires within just a few minutes.  There were no hidden charges for anything.   We have had him in our home twice for repairs.  The other repair was on our washing machine.  Same situation each time.  They get over to do the repair as soon as possible.  They show up when they say they will, and each time, we have had no additional expenses.  Just the price of the service call.  Our experience with Northgate has been perfect.  It is great having someone we feel we can trust!  We will definately use them for our future repair needs.

    Washing machine "spin" motor stopped working. I checked to see how easy of a fix and then called the provider to see if he could fix it. I offered to bring it to him (his shop) to save on home visit costs, he declined and indicated it was no big deal to come check it out. Upon arriving at my home, he indeed verified the motor was burned out and that a fix was more than the washer was worth. He then charged me for the home visit even though he didn't really do anything and had indicated otherwise over the phone.

    I was referred to Old Dominion by another repair business because they did not service my area. I left a message and they returned my call immediately. They were very flexible with my schedule and we set up an appointment. Alan showed up promptly at 8am. He troubleshooted my dishwasher and was determined to fix whatever was preventing it from draining. I am very pleased with this company and would definitely hire them again. Alan was very friendly and personable and most importantly, honest.
