AI know there are good and bad reviews of K-9, we chose it to try it out. We had out pups in the VIP suite, the reason i didn't give it higher ratings is because i felt we were paying for a service I am not able to confirm they received. Their cameras and camera system didn't work for the entire time our pups were boarded there. This was a huge reason we chose them, as well as chose to trust them with our fur babies. It was not available. For the first couple days I was thinking it was us and not doing something right, but then I kept bugging them, and come to find out nothing was working and we were told they are working to upgrade their system. They did take photos one day of our pups and while this was nice, they post photos of their dogs every day, and for the 13 days we were there, we only got pictures of our pups one day. While I am pretty sure they took good care of my pups, I was just disappointed for the lack of cameras in their VIP suites.

ASunset was recommended to us by the folks we bought our house from, and we began using them when we got a new puppy. Sunset offers a and quot;puppy package, and quot; where you pay a discounted price in advance, and then bring the puppy in on a regular schedule and have shots and worming, etc. It also included a free puppy grooming for our standRd poodle pup, and discounted micro-chipping. We are very satisfied with Sunset Animal Hospital and will continue to use them.

AWe took our Chihuahua Suzie to Dr. Bruce King on October 6 for examination of a lump on her belly. The lump had been aspirated in early 2014 and diagnosed as a fatty tumor by a vet in Florida. However, it had continued to grow and no longer felt like a fatty tumor. Dr. King suspected a hernia and recommended surgery. Fortunately, he had a cancellation in his surgery schedule, and was able to schedule Suzie for October 8. She had the surgery and has fully recovered. It's not even a month after the surgery now, and we can barely see the surgical scar.
I can't say enough good things about this vet and practice. The facility is spotless, well kept, and odor-free. Dr. King was wonderful both for Suzie's exam and after her surgery. He handled her gently, explained everything fully, and answered all my questions. He was very professional, courteous, and caring, as were all his staff. Suzie had her surgery in the morning, and we were able to bring her home late that afternoon. Dr. King called me at home that night to make sure Suzie was doing OK and to see if we had any questions or concerns. He reinforced that by telling me to call him if there was anything we needed.
On the first (exam) visit, they even took Suzie's picture and gave it to me in a frame.
Since we are full-time RVers, we have used many vets to care for our dogs. Dr. King is certainly at the top of the list! I would highly recommend him to anyone, and will definitely use him if we are near Coeur d'Alene again.

ALYNN DEE'S GROOM & TRAININGSecond use on a nippy Lhasa. They seem to be gentle as the girl seems happier on pick-up. Scheduling at other was why I tried this place and I knew they were full-test dog people from some training I went too. Seem top-notch. $45/50 tipped.- Steve H.

ADee's Dog GroomingThe dogs seem relaxed and the snippy one is still not needing a muzzle after several trips- these people are great with dogs. They also train. On professionalism its a small staff and you can’t get someone right away many times- very old-school you call, leave message, they take paper checks (and cards), so thats a B. Price isn’t low, a B, but to my thinking they might be more, as they are very committed to dogs and a helpful recourse, so I tip.- Steve H.

AD' Tails Pet SalonWe had taken our previous 2 dogs to D'Tails for about 3 years. They both could hardly wait to go and would come home happy and tired and looking beautiful! Both were Shitzu/Carin terrier mixes. They passed away in January and the owners were very kind with our both dogs' passing. Now we have a 7 month old Cavalier King Charles/Chihuahua mix. We knew he would find a great experience at D'Tails. His first visit was in April and he came home just beautiful, happy and full of energy. This month, he was very eager to go and played his heart out while he was there. Once again we picked up a happy dog who knew he really looked GREAT! It's fun to watch him strut around, obviously pleased with his looks. That evening he settled in earlier and slept longer that on any other day. We love knowing our dog is happy and well cared-for when he goes there. Not to mention that the price is very reasonable and they do a super job. Would definitely recommend them.- Lynda H.

ADee's Dog GroomingBesides providing all the aforementioned services as part of a regular visit, everyone in the shop I have come in contact with has been very sweet and very loving to all the animals I witnessed interaction with. There were 2 additional things that impressed me so much so I will never take Reggie any other place. 1) Your dog is taken out to relieve itself 2) My dog would not come into the bathroom when I dry my hair. NOW, when I tell him I am going to dry it so he is warned, he not only comes into the bathroom but he lays down on the carpet next to my feet. I started raising the blower way above my head and gently moving it back and forth on low and he loves it!. He comes in every single time which is daily. I am still in shock over this and told Linda. She simply smiled and said and quot;we treat all of our pets with loving careand quot;. They even get a treat. Great place, love, love love it and especially Miss Linda as we call her.- Patricia P.
