    Core Construction
Stacy is an excellent, skilled contractor.  He ALWAYS shows up when he says he will.  His work is excellent.  He is pleasant and easy to work with.  Our condo association has been using him for the last three years and we have been extremely satisfied with his work.

The painting went fine until we noticed there were paint drops on our carpet in various places, the painters did not use drop cloths and the spots were not cleaned up properly.
The painters would fill the nail holes in the walls with a spray compound and then you could tell where they had sprayed, the nail holes were very small and when they used the spray compound it was about the size of a salad plate, way too large for such a small hole.
We had to point out to the owner, the large spray areas to cover the nail holes, the painters just painted over the spray area, not once trying to smooth the area to make it unnoticeable. The owner and he had his guys come back and redo the walls., they still don't look right.  There was one area behind a bedroom door that had not been repainted after fixing the nail hole in the wall.
    I wouldn't use them again.

    Premier Painting Professionals by Waagenaars
I can't express enough how thrilled I am with Waagenaar's Painting. They were very helpful, knowledgeable, fairly priced, and the work performed turned out beautifully - my home is like new! In addition to that, however, Peter and his wife were so helpful and flexible with my odd schedule as I was moving out of one home and into another - without knowing when. This caused the stressful situation of moving to be multiplied. Peter was very understanding of this situation and made sure that he was able to complete the work in my crazy time crunch - to have this huge project handled so smoothly and with care was so wonderful and such a relief to me at a time when I really felt like I might lose my mind : )

    NillaWood Construction
This was the most horrible business experience I have ever been in. He gave me a quote of $21,000 to be paid in three parts for the addition and roofing job. I have paid out to him well over $21,000 and all I got was a new roof, the carport demo, hung and ran a gas line for the hot water heater and windows installed in the main part of the home. When it came to poring the foundation I gave him an additional $4000. He claimed he forgot about the cement work in the bid and never saw him again. He had the cement and foundation people come to my home and put in the stem wall, but never paid the sub contractors. The cement work ended up costing me $6,000 + the $3400 of mine which is still unaccounted for. I would never recommend him to any one.
    • He never completed the structure.
Some of his workers stole electronic devices from my home
Most of his sub's were on drugs
      He stole $3400 from me
Was paid in full to install a thankless hot water heater, but only completed half the job

Rose Hansen was wonderful to work with. She met with my client and me and we told her what we wanted. She made some additional recommendations and the final product is beautiful. She is very easy to work with and has an amazing knowledge base. She was prompt and kept me apprised on the progress of the project. I will definitely use her again.

    3 Sons Renovation
After my first finish carpenter didn't work out, I found 3 Sons on Angie's List and what a blessing that was!!! 3 Sons is a husband and wife team who not only were able to meet my finish carpentry requirements but virtually everything else I needed to finish my remodel - all this in a very short time frame. I was apprehensive during my first interview when they said they could do EVERYTHING, but after hiring them I quickly found out they ACTUALLY could. They were fantastic to work with: honest, reliable, flexible, professional, courteous, respectful of my property and very collaborative. They were extremely hardworking (willing to work LONG hours and even Saturdays) and neat, always removing their shoes at the door and doing all the sawing and other dirty work outside (even when it was snowing). All this and they were still  very cost competitive. Steve (the husband) is a perfectionist. I am so particular I drive most contractors crazy but Steve is actually even more particular than I am! Kimberly (Steve's wife) is a great painter and stainer, good at making/repairing screens and helping Steve with whatever else needs to be done. She also manages the scheduling and does the billing (which was always thoroughly documented and accurate). They were a pleasure to work with and I will definitely be using them again later this year to help me with additional remodeling needs inside and out. I highly recommend them!!!

    3 Sons Renovation
We are extremely expressed with 3 Sons Renovation and we
recommend them as often as we can.  We
started out just getting one bedroom painted.
The room looked great and was done, as all of their work is, timely and
    professionally.  This great workmanship lead
us to pursue the long to-do list that we?ve had for years.  Which included:
Fixing the sliding, closet doors that did not
Installing new sink faucets in two of our
Tearing out the ceiling in the basement guest
bathroom after we thought that the sheetrock was wet because of plumbing issues
from the bathroom above.  Needless to
say, it was not the plumbing but a leak from the outside when it rained that
was coming down our wall and pooling up in the bathroom ceiling.  The leak was fixed.  The drywall was reinstalled, taped, textured
and painted.  They felt that the wall
paint had some texture spray on it and so they repainted my whole

Caulking the line between the tile and the trim
    edge in our bathroom.
Venting our bathroom fan.  While fixing the ceiling leak in our basement
bath they found that our bathroom fan was not vented to the outside.  They explained that with the fan only venting
to the attic mold will often grow, therefore we requested them to vent the fan
to the outside.  At the same time they
noticed that a vent in our metal roof needed to be re-caulked and they took
care of this at the same time.
Grouting our bathroom tile.  The grout in our master bathroom was cracked
in many places.  We asked them to simply
grout over the cracked grout.  However,
they explained that this would not fix the situation and in a few months the
new grout would be cracked.  They took
out all of the old grout, matched the new grout with the color we previously
used and re-grouted the entire bathroom.
Repairing tiles that were loose.  Our kitchen floor is slate and the original
person that laid the tile did not lay the slate correctly.  We have found that it is a difficult natural
stone to work with, but they easily pulled up the tiles in our kitchen that
were loose, fixed them and re-laid them so they no longer move when you step on
    Laying tile.
We needed a backsplash for our vanity in our master bathroom.  I picked one and they did a great job of
    laying it.
Our major repair was to our master
bathroom.  Our walls were slate tile and
over the seven years that they were up the seal wore way and the water penetrated
the slate to the point that it rusted and the rust ran down the tiles and
grout.  3 Sons tried a couple of
techniques to simply remove the rust from the tile ? one of which brought it back
to about 90% of its original state ? however, I requested that they remove the
tile, backerboard, grout, etc.  and start
from scratch.  They did this and my
shower has never looked so great!
We felt very comfortable with them
in our home when we were not there.  They
always cleaned up, including vacuumed before they left each day.  We were very impressed with their suggestions
to our to-do list as well as their mind on the bottom dollar.  We could not be happier with the
craftsmanship, professionalism, pricing and overall great people to work
with!  They were an awesome team to work
with and made the entire project a team project with everyone?s input involved.  I have already started on my list for the
next time they come out.  I cannot
    imagine working

    Cunningham Construction
Marvin was extremely flexible having to come in 3 separate times over a 2 month period to work around other contractors and project dependencies. While he was very busy with other jobs, he always made time to meet our schedule. His workmanship was excellent. He conducted himself in a very polite, professional manner. He was very careful and respectful of our property taking great care to prep and protect all floor surfaces, fixtures and furniture. He thoroughly cleaned up after himself each time he was in our home. I had a number of special requirements that he remembered and executed flawlessly. Finally, Marvin was very cost competitive, efficient and definitely delivered value. Bottom line, Marvin was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend him to anyone doing a remodel because of the extra care he takes on the job.

I employed them because they did my neighbor's home and I could see first hand the quality of their work and their work ethic. Bruce and Lou approach each job like they are working on their own home. They do it right the first time, even if it takes more time. They know exactly what they are doing. They are true experts. The finished job is beautifully done and will last many years. Bruce is great to work with. He bids fairly, and stands behind his original bid even if turns out there it a bit more involved. They are absolutely white glove in their painting care and site cleanliness. They start ON TIME every workday. They keep you informed of the progress at all times. If they need to stop to pick up supplies before starting work, they call you and let you know exactly what time they will show up (and they actually show up at that time.......amazing in today's world!). After they finished my home, my other neighbor after seeing the quality of their work and their work ethic, had them re stain his home also. So there are three very satisfied customers on our block that will all give Bruce Summerfelt the highest recommendation!

Very professional and hardworking team came to our home and painted 5 rooms in one day.  We were very pleased with the work and would definitely recommend them to anyone.  If we need any future painting done we would rehire them.
