    Veterans Plumbing Corp
Veterans plumbing evaluated my existing plumbing and replaced all old pipes, the main water line, and the sewer line. They did a terrific job. They explained every step and walked me through their work.

    Bee Boise's Best Underground
It was an excellent service. We got hold of them on Monday and came right over. We agreed with the price and did the job on Thursday and it was done. Very personable, responsive and punctual. I would definitely recommend them.

    Prime Plumbing, LLC
Great. Tyler is very communicative and responsive. He was the best bid I received (and I got 7) as well as the most helpful. He communicated his timelime and worked quickly, and has been available within a short window when I've needed other things added. His work is great and I would recommend him to anyone (and have).

    Boise Plumbing And Drain
Horribly. If anyone in Idaho ever needs any plumbing work, appliance installs, etc. Do NOT call Boise Plumbing and Drain!!!! My mother recently ordered a new dishwasher before Thanksgiving. Said dishwasher was delivered and Boise Plumbing and Drain was assigned to install it. They did. Days later we notice bubbling in between the laminate floors planks, moist to the touch. It got bigger and more showed up. We crawled beneath the house via the crawlspace and saw a small drip coming from directly beneath the affected floorboards. We call them back to see if they can find the source and they come out. They determine that the pump to the new dishwasher was defective and that caused the leak. They turn off water and we make arrangements for that dishwasher to be picked up and for the floors to be fixed, as the owner offers to help with claim to have the cost of floor covered since it was no fault of ours. We part ways happily and feel like things were handled really well. Post Thanksgiving: We try to get a hold of them, as agreed and suddenly the tone has changed. They tell us we have to do all the heavy lifting for the claim, which we can't complete without their report of their findings being submitted. Once it reaches this point, suddenly the entire team and owner cannot be anyone. Fast forward to 5 weeks later (plenty of time for mildew and mold to start beneath the floor), still working with the claims adjuster (waiting on their report) and having a separate leak detection company come to make sure we weren't missing a problem that wasn't already there. In addition, hiring another company to deeply examine the crawlspace to eliminate the possibility of other issues. All agreed the only leak was from the dishwasher or a corresponding hose. Having gone as far as we could with the claim without their cooperation, I took one last stab and left a message with them notifying them of the issue still standing and letting them know that if they didnt pull through, we would have to take legal action on our own. Magically, 20 mins later they respond with a story that everyone phone had been lost or stolen and the report would be given to the claims adjuster. They agreed to make the report BEFORE removing the dishwasher in question. Plumber comes out while the crawlspace company is present, disconnects the old dishwasher. He begins to carry it outside and the report is asked for, as per the agreement. He says he doesnt have it but promises to get it. We asked the other professionals to stand witness to what is being said and done, given the track record of balls being dropped. They agree happily, noting the shotty workmanship customer service. He says everything is handled and leaves. The claims adjuster reviews their report and determines that the hose that caused the water damage was supplied and installed by the plumbers alone and was not a part of the dishwasher sold to us, putting responsibilty on Boise Plumbing and Drain...who of course denied that being the case. Unbeknownst to us at that time, he had forgotten to cap the opening for the hose near the disposal. Last night we open the cabinet under the sink to find water pooled. We wipe it up and try to find the source, eventually attributing it to perhaps an accidental drain during the removal process and shrug it off. Then tonight we find more of the same (further contributing to the original issue) and figured out the opening and what had been missed. We take pictures and send them to the team stating it needed to be handled immediately, especially since things were handled so poorly. They respond with "You can use the other side of the sink. I have to look at my schedule, but Monday sometime. Do whatever you need to do" So disappointed. Save yourself the trouble, money and the damage. What a nightmare.

    Overall Plumbing
I was very surprised to get a call from the plumber that very day I put out a request. He was able to come to my home that same day. He had everything fixed and I have had no problems since then. Price was reasonable. He was professional and efficient. I was very satisfied with the work, cost and time needed to fix the problem. I would recommend.

    Scotty's Potty's Plumbing
I had a leaking outdoor faucet that was getting worse by the day. Because it's an older home with an addition, they had to maneuver though 2 crawl spaces to find access to the faucet! It was also a little extra work to get the old faucet out because it was steel pipe. Scott and his apprentice took time to do a good job and my new faucet is great. I have since called Scott back to my "new" old home to replace the washer hookups, repair a bathroom sink and unclog some tubs. He is always quick to respond and work quality is excellent.

    Knight Plumbing And Construction Inc.
Michael Knight came with his helper and told me the fix would just be a bandaid and that i needed all my pipes replaced. he was in my house 30min and charged me $475.00. He had the check cashed within 20 mins of leaving my house. My brother in law called the Company and spoke to a receptionist who said she would relate the message to the owner , we are still waiting for a call back. I had a plumbing inspector come to my house , and he gave me the name of a trustworthy plumber and he told me the repair should not have been more than $200.and i was charged more than double. so don't ever call Knight plumbing as you will get ripped off.

    Chris Wright
I called Chris expecting to not get a response, let alone an appointment for the work, for a couple days. I know that Chris is a pretty busy plumber. He called me back right away and I had an appointment for the work later that same day. Wow. The work required the dry wall to be cut into and removed. He cut clean holes, saving the drywall pieces to be replaced after the repair. His repair was very detailed oriented. He even worried about and took care of the interior of the adjacent wall. That is, the moisture that could cause mold.

    Perfect Plumbing, Heating and Air
They wanted over $400 to clear out the drain line, but I balked after which they offered that if I subscribed to an annual maintenance plan they'd do it for $99, plus $238 for plan. Fine, it gets me seasonal maintenance check-ups and priority scheduling. They did the work, but it still leaked, so I had them out again. They responded promptly and we've had no problems since. On a plan, drain line cleaning is $99, so no justification at all for a $400+ estimate for a drain line run of maybe 20 feet. Asked for quote to replace A/C and furnace system, and got the same feeling of trying to "sell up." When we asked too many questions about system they recommended, we stopped hearing back with promised answers and info. That's too bad b/c we thought it was close to an ok price, but just weren't convinced we needed the system as proposed. They also seemed surprised that we intended to get more estimates. I called on Nov 10 to schedule an annual furnace maintenance visit as part of my plan, and my "priority placement" got me an appointment for Dec 27, albeit with a promise to try to fit me in on a cancellation. The individual techs were all professional and polite, and they resolved the problem. As a plus, a newly hired electrician who came on the original call offered to address an electrical issue I might have since he was here and couldn't really help with the drain line issue. I thought that was smart and mindful of appearances since customers don't like to have service techs standing around. He replaced a 3-way dimmer ... much appreciated.

    JSC Handyman Services Inc
It went great. The overall quality of the work was top notch & the craftsmen were courteous &professional. The shower area had some issues with the tile work & I called them out a couple times to review the situation with a quick fix, but after several months it was clear the underlying structure under the tile was causing the problem. Jonathon came back out warrantied the work and rebuilt the tile section over 3 days & we're super happy with the results. I would highly recommend JSC. We've used them extensively on several other projects around the house & have always been happy with the quality of their work. Sheetrock, baseboards, attic ladders, kitchen remodel, appliance installations, siding repair. You name it they've done it and they've been great to work with.
